Is anyone else getting this transparency problem when they switch render distance to small or tiny? It does not appear to happen with normal or far render distance though. I am using the latest version of MCPatcher and texture pack LB 256x256.
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but I just cut down a jungle tree and the saplings had no image when I picked them up, they were just blank.
Aside from that though your texture pack is by far the best out there. Thank you Scuttles for making it.

EDIT: Ok, after removing all my mods & downloading a fresh .minecraft folder I'm still getting the spaces between the lettering. Oh well, it's only a minor problem. I can deal with it for a while.
Hey Scuttles, This was my first texture pack of choice since I started with MC last year, and have had no regrets. Love the artwork and detail in this pack, and it surely was missed for the short time since the update to 1.2..3. Glad you are banging away at getting everything back up and running. Did notice however that in the text, a gap follows every "i" and "l" ( thats eyes and ells). That being said, I have no other gripes, this pack is the best out there. thanks
hey, since updating to the latest update of the pack, when I select it in the texturepack screen, it fails. weird. I am forced to use the old version now.
Btw, what's the latest on the 512x? and do you think I could run it with 4gb ram? im trying to install optifine, not working for me...

I have small problem with this texture pack - i have fresh MC 1.2.3; patched via MC Patcher 2.3.4; "installed" 32x and 64x tx pack and when im running MC with 32 or 64 resolution pack, every leaves block and vine bocks are mostly light blue, moreover wheat looks like it want try to be totally transparent - it have weaker colours. Ive noticed that blue borders on leaves disapears when raining. How to fix that?
Is this similar to the problem that I posted a few posts back? Because if it is, I would also really like to know why this is happening.
im using this pack since i started playing minecraft. Its a very good one, but it has still some flaws.
major:
- Jungle sapling is missing. (thats true!)
- chain armor is missing (working fine with me.)
- mycelium looks like normal grass (I thought it was swamp grass or something!)
minor (and personal opinion):
- brewing stand gui bubbles and arrow looks weird, forgot to delete the default one?
- circle/square stone brick is a texture from the default pack
- hard to tell when wheat is fully grown, maybe make the last one more yellowish.
- mossy and cracked stone brick looks a bit too dark
- broken disk is at the wrong place in the gui/items.png and one disk is duplicated ingame
- dead shrub looks totally grey
I can fix most of it by myself so its no problem for me, but maybe for the other users.
I could post my own version, but then i need permission to do so from Scuttles first (and Misa for jungle sapling, chain armor and randomobs).
I like your point, but you didn't include the vines being grey (gray for the Americans). Anyway, the potions and stuff, the bottles edges are jagged, which makes them look unrealistic, but 2D. (well that's my perspective).
oh, btw, the grass goes grey/gray if you go far away from it.

I'm working on getting CTM working with this pack for use with Optifine. I'm also going to make the text optional (for now) due to the many issues and problems people are having. I will bring it back when I believe it's been fixed and tweaked.
I'll see what I can do about getting the jungle to feel more "jungle" by thickening some vines. I've also finished the jungle sapling so that will be in the next update.
The x512 has been put on hold for a bit (mostly from distractions in the x768) so that will be out soon enough. As well as some teaser shots of the x768. It crashes as of right now, but new RAM will help remedy this. So I'll probably post the terrain for people to get screens if all else fails.

For some reason my tools have a wiered pissing pixels andic an't see fluids. I have 1.2.3 and is this texture pack updated for my version?
Be sure to use the HD patcher even for the x16 version. I will polish up the x16 so you won't need it in the future, though. Once MC decides to die down with the updates, mostly.

Excellent! I love posts like these because it brings a ton of insight on areas that I clearly overlooked. Well, I can shed a bit of light on a few of those subjects.
The mycelium was intended to just appear as a more teal grass for a personal preference as the whole concept of a giant mushroom forest with mushroom cows was just childish and poorly thought through, in my opinion.
The chain mail is currently not possible to be used in-game (without creative mode) so I really want to focus on things that are "for sure" things. If that makes sense.
Jungle sapling is going to be in the next update. It was simply something I overlooked while rushing the update out. =(
I never noticed that I messed up the x128 and below with the brewing stand. I'll fix that right away.
The default textures are placeholders until I figured out what they did in-game. Should be fixed in the next update.
I thought I'd show you this very interesting thread by Misa about Biome colors, if you weren't already aware of it. With this new biome shading system, you can get even more creative than you are already. And yes, that was supposed to be a compliment, a big one in fact . Keep up the good work, looking forward to all the new awesomness that awaits us with the recreation of the pack in x768!
EDIT: What I said a few weeks back about the swampfoliagecolor.png seems still to apply, although according to Misa it's a little curious as to why it does, because it is now kind of obsolete.
Wow, that certainly is an interesting thread. I'll see what I can do to mess with the biomes some more. =)
The x768 pack is going well. I did notice that it's a lot harder to create textures that fit into the game due to the huge amount of pixels.

i agree with the what was said about the vines, they need to be thicker as they just don't have a jungle feel.
also are you going to make the textures for connected textures in Optifine?

Yeah, I'm getting this problem too. Only my letters are spaced out on everything. Even the debug screen. (F3)
