Thank you. Have you looked into Optifine to see if you can squeeze a bit more FPS out of it?
I didn't make the original post, but I'd like to look into optifine too. However, with any mod except the MCpatcher defaults, whenever I install it, by any method, with any version of minecraft, I get a black screen after the mojang logo every time. I have given up on modding, but even my 4gb RAM Mac (with i think something like 1920x780 resolution), which i had full confidence in until recently, has a very small amount of lag, mainly when placing blocks, and there's no escaping the graininess. Help with modding anyone?
And YES I DELETED META-INF, so don't tell me to. That's the only response I've ever gotten.
I've got nothing really to add to the conversation in this thread.
All I want to say is that I love this texture pack so much and I am beside myself with excitement thinking about the new jungle biome in this text pack.
I absolutely cannot wait for an update for 1.2. Thank you for all your hard work and please keep it up! I look forward to seeing what you have done for the 1.2 update!
Well, I'm glad all that I had to do with the main post is hit "save" again.
I've been thinking of a mod that is similar to random mobs, but applies to textures. That way trees will have different variations of bark, mountains will have less tiling of the same stone, or even mining different types of ores.
If anyone has heard of a mod that does something like that, I'm quite interested in it. Please post a link. =)
The redstone lamps look great! Thanks again for all your hard work! Now I wish you had just said tomorrow because I will be constantly checking for an update tonight.
Brava Scuttles! I spotted your texture pack almost right off when I began playing MC....which was only recently....and I CANNOT play the game w/o it, ROFL! OMG its gorgeous! Thank you soooo much! I am excited to see what you come up with for the 1.2.2 update...I'm loving the redstone lamps...I can see many beautiful things being made with these!!
Off to check out the LP RPG pack atm...I have loved the photorealism one so much I haven't looked at ANY others, lol, but....since you made this one...I must check it out!
Btw...I saw a bloomed lily pad in an image somewhere of your texture pack...is that in the RPG version? None of my lily pads bloom in the photorealism one....the flower was beautiful! I must have beaten several lily pads to death with bonemeal trying to make it bloom, lol! >.<

Thank you. I'm not quite sure I quite like it yet, though.
The update will more than likely be tomorrow. Better? =)
I've been mostly screwing around with the x768/1024 pack and then find myself accomplishing little to nothing with distractions, lol

I try my best. So thank you. =3
I also like the redstone lamps, but something just feels off about them. Any ideas?
Maybe a yellow would look better. I just figured glowstone + redstone = orange lamp
The blooming lily pad was from a very old amazing mod called "wildgrass" and it hasn't been updated in quite some time. I really miss it. ='(
So unfortunately, we're stuck with the default pads without nice flowers.
I wanted to ask what plans you have for the new mobs. Such as the ocelot and golem. I was also curious if it is possible to give custom textures to the villager's children where they would look like actual children. Not just mini-sized adults.
As far as the redstone lamp goes. I wish I could give you a better opinion but I have no idea what your going for. It looks pretty good to me. If your wanting it to be more similar to the vanilla one it does look a bit too orange when powered up from your screenshot. In vanilla it has a more glowstone hue when powered as you already know.
Scuttles, your texture pack is the only one I use and I love it. I just have one question. When you have a little time do you think you could redo the yellow flower? I really hate how it looks more like a weed than any sort of flower, Just a friendly idea. Thanks again for all the hard work
Well, if my internet wouldn't keep cutting out I would have had it uploaded by now... Restarting that upload right now.
So the update is coming and I've tweaked the redstone lamp slightly. I think it looks better, in my opinion so I'm sticking with it for a while.
As for the cobble/stone issue. Hopefully that will be remedied with the new textures. So far I have quite a few cobblestone textures that I plan on refining and hopefully you guys will see in the next few days.

The pack is currently in a transition to upscaling everything to x768 resolution (With x1024 native textures in case MC can ever run it) so it's entirely possible I will have a nicer yellow flower texture in the future.
I agree about yellow flower.
oh and.
Tonight i saw weird dream- I updated my MC to 1.2 And i chosed my favorite pack, 256x of lb potorealism, then i went to singleplayer world, And i saw that the pack got updated, all textures were realistic, like in real life (no blocky leaves in this dream and soem other blocks weren't actually blocks and that was weird for my dreams lol )
But yeah, the pack is nice, my favorite
Sometimes I wonder what the next game I will work will be. These blocks are driving me insane. XD
hey scuttles do you mind if i port your texturepack to the pocket edition. I will be using the 32x version of the texturepack obviously since pocket edition can't use hd patchers.
Note: i won't be using any adf.ly links for the port, just mediafire and dropbox and i will post a link to the topic on here if you wish as well.
nice texture pack!!! i use the 64x since my computer cant handle anymore
also plz can you check out my golem farm it looks epic with your texture pack! http://www.minecraft...pic-golem-farm/
(also i would really appreciate a video of my golem farm if anyone can provide me with one)
Haha, wow. You already have a golem spawner this early after the release??? I'm impressed. =)

Thank you very much Deathwuppie
(can you fix the download?)

Good job, Scuttles and keep it up!!!!

Anyway, 1.2 on the way fairly soon. I'd expect a release either tonight or early morning tomorrow. There wasn't much to do with update texture-wise.

I'm not 100% sure about these yet. What do you guys think?
Side note: I remember how much I hated the HD patcher. The lack of texture filtering is making my eyes bleed. >.<
Oh Optifine, you've spoiled me.

and have to agree on the redstone lamps kinda idk somthing is off, I think they will stick out to much maybe try the yellow?

Sounds alright with me.
Probably shouldn't have been streaming a 1080p video of Mass Effect while doing this, though. Oops...
Edit:
Updated. Hopefully no issues.
I knew I missed something... =(
Alright, I'll get on fixing that soon. When I post the x512, I'll have a fix then.
Haha, wow. You already have a golem spawner this early after the release??? I'm impressed. =)
I forgot about that. I think only a few letters are left to change. I believe the "o" is still a little messed up if I can remember correctly.
