I'm running into a ton of issues with the x512 pack at this point. I think I need more RAM, unfortunately. Photoshop is taking well over 2.7GB of my memory at times and I'm no where near done with the terrain. =(
So, I'm going to continue working with a very slow PS until I blue screen or melt my computer, lol.

I'm working on getting that font perfect for all resolutions. I just gave up halfway after nearly 4 hours of frustration and updated the packs which the fonts were completely messed up.
I have been watching that one for a bit. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to create a pack that big because I could even test the textures in-game. =(
Appreciate all of your hard work, sorry you're having so much trouble with the fonts. Unfortunately I am still having the issue, but only with lowercase L's and I's. I made sure I had the latest 128 pack, and even tried copying in the manual font file you uploaded earlier, but no luck. Everything is fine with the fonts in 256 for me, but not 128.

Quite welcome and I'm aware of the issues with the L's and I's. I've fixed quite a few of the similar letters so the next update should look much better.
I don't understand. I have installed the texture pack and it works fine and all. But is everything supped to look so "grainy" from a distance? It looks a lot worse when you move around too. It only seems to be like this in HD texture packs.
Try installing the optifine mod. They mipmapping setting will really eliminate that grain.
I can vouch for what Scuttles said about optifine fixing the grain associated with this pack. I just recently started using optifine last night and I noticed immediately after maxing out "mipmapping" at how much better it looks.

in the exact same directory as minecraftlauncher.jar?
Yes, most people have it in desktop. For me, I have launcher jar in my user folder and I made a shortcut to the bat file. Then I have it at desktop so I don't have to see unnecessary jar sitting on my desktop. Also you can change the shortcut icon to MC icon.
I like this texture, i downloaded the LB's RPG Texture x256 (or something) and it looks amazing, but the items are default.. Is it me or does lion 10.7.3 randomly do that, In other words- NICE JOB!!

I'm not sure if I should save up for a new computer entirely because the current motherboard I have is only DDR2 compatible which is REALLY depressing.
I think it's neither you nor lion: The RPG-Pack is not finished. And it hasn't been updated since Beta 1.7. So it might not yet have its own item textures, but I'm not 100% sure on that since I don't use the pack for the aforementioned reasons :tongue.gif: Try using the Photorealism Pack for now.
Precisely. I quit working on the RPG pack for a very long time and now with this RAM issue I think I'm just going to keep putting in Photo Realism placeholders to save time and protect my computer from some harmful crashes. XD
I do have some big plans for that pack. x512 unlocks a very smooth looking items.png. =)

So I'm really fighting the urge to make the Photo Realism pack into x512. I really don't want to take the daunting task of recreating the textures, but working the RPG pack is so damn beautiful. Edges look smooth for a change.
i miss wildgrass too :sad.gif:, it was so close to being alive again.
the new font, apart from it's few graphical glitches looks good and works well with the pack.
I'm looking forward to getting my new laptop so i can run the 256 version without major lag, something I've wanted to do since this pack was just beginning

Hehehe, you've fallen to the same thing as many of the rest of us. Personally, the 256 will do - at least for the moment. With the 512 pack not finished, that should probably be a priority higher than moving Photo up to 512. If you decide you want to do Photo in 512 once you're done with the RPG pack, I'll be very happy. Your choice entirely though, I understand how hard it would be to remake all the textures in 512.
I seemed to be having some trouble with the texture pack. I used MCPatcher and I did the allocated RAM, but that didn't seem to work. I tried a lower resolution (x256 to x128), but that didn't work. I've been playing around with the allocated RAM, but it hasn't been doing anything. It freezes a lot, then eventually runs out of memory. Plus, there's the white block problem. Help?
