I just downloaded the latest version and I'm getting the default water... I'm sure the water animations were checked in MC patcher.
And help would be nice, thank you.

Note to Archer, this water tiles tremendously better. =)
Taken as the sun was coming down, sorry for darkness.
The new water looks fantastic. Also, on the subject of quality, this is a 256x256 texture pack. Don't decrease the quality for people can't realize that if they can't run it, they should downscale to 128x128 or lower. People like that are stupid and adaptively-challenged and you shouldn't be persuaded by them. You already have the most realistic texture pack on the forum and that title may be in jeopardy if you continue to listen to these idiots.

Thanks for the input. ^^
I'm glad you like the new water. Any critiques on it before I make it officially in the next update? I was a big fan of the natural noise a high resolution pack creates which turned into fantastic glints on the oceans.
Quality will never be as great until they fix wild grass, better grass and GLSL. =(
Anyway, I agree with your statement about retaining quality. The only massive change I've done so far was moving to Misa's mobs out of personal preference until my friend and I can create real HD animals.
The new water looks great! I cant wait for those fancy shaders and your custom animals!
Animals may take a while, but the shaders are well under way. The amount of fps the shaders take it up is tremendous. I can only play on the 128x128 when experimenting with the shaders at the moment. =\
prolly need to see the water during the day to make a choice myself...not relly sure I want to change it as of now tho. if you go with this one I may very well steal the other one for my pack :tongue.gif:

In that case. I just uploaded this, lol.
Water during the daytime. ^^
I'm not as happy with the picture as the stills don't really implement that glint I love so much. It just seems like typical noise without it. =(
In any case, the water looks 95% better at a distance now.

I have some comments.
1. I like the new sandstone, it is exactly what I was looking for, except maybe you could make it look a little less tiled?
2. About the bed: I think that brown is the wrong color for it... Maybe some sort of design, or is it possible to cycle through designs, like paintings, to find the one that we like most?
And with the beds, I had a large bed before (made of wool, not an actual bed), and the beds don't line up side to side well to make a larger bed for 2. Could you make them tileable?
3. I don't like the health meter, I liked the bar format you had.
4. The crafting screen and the chest screen need to me revamped to be higher quality.
5. I had an idea for the glowstone, how about if you make it a chandelier, or a light fixture box? That's what I use them for, I imagine others do as well.
6. The wool looks good.
7. I'm excited for that water!!!
42. I thought I'd be done with the highway, but it is taking WAY longer than I thought. Not to mention that I started building a small town because I was getting irritated of planting and harvesting so much wood.
8. For the fences, what do you think of changing them? possibly like this: http://images.nationalgeographic.com/wp ... 00x450.jpg or like a normal backyard fence like this http://www.austexfenceanddeck.com/wp-co ... fence2.jpg
9. I know you probably can't do this, but what do you think about making the different types of trees produce different colors of wood? Like pine would be a piny-yellow colored wood, etc.?
10. I still think the sand needs a major revamp to follow the rest of the pack, perhaps a texture like one of these? http://colorburned.com/2008/05/freebies ... extur.html
11. The yellow flowers, for a fix, something like this perhaps: http://ferenc.biz/pictures/gorgeous-fie ... lowers.jpg
12. I love your pack a lot.
13. I think another thing notch should add is concrete. [bucket of water+sand+gravel].
14. The ladders should be the same color wood as the rest of it.
15. Here is a sneak-peak of my highway. [you can see a fraction of the length of it, and why it takes so dang long to build the supports.
I used MCpatcher to install the pack after putting the zip in the thing. Tried it without the animated stuff, just the HD fixes for compass and such, and it still crashes. Ah well. System specs:AMD sempron 145 processor 2.79 GHz, 1.75 GB of ram, ATI radeon HD 4200 graphics card. Just ran a java update.
Hmmmm... Have you treid a manual install of the game? What I mean by that is instead of selecting the pack with MCpatcher, just directly place the unzipped pack into the .jar in the bin folder of Minecraft.

How do i do this?
there is a tutorial in the forum..just search for it
I have, that is why i am asking. I searched both texture install and texture install tutorial, either it is irrelevant or they say the packer will have the instructions available :smile.gif:
** like 3/4s down the list... amd a 'tutorial'
I get this

I would love it more updated, But I'll try it.
It's quite alright. It keeps it bumped. xD
What about the flowing water is weird?
Seemed like an insane screen shot. I might make this my background.
Edit:
Made some subtle changes to the stone texture to reduce obvious tiling.
1. I like the new sandstone, it is exactly what I was looking for, except maybe you could make it look a little less tiled?
