With a good shaders mod plus this texture pack, I swear it looks like Crysis.
Great pack. I've noticed some transparency issues on the edges of weapons, though this might be the shaders I installed. Also, the icons are a little hard to distinguish, especially for tools. Other than that, I love it.
Edit; One more note. The highest resolution creates a semi-blurry almost grainy effect which really kind of looks ugly Not sure about the 128, downloading now.
Edit; The invisible textures on the tools are caused by my shaders, not the pack, so that's fine. But the graininess is caused by the resolution of the pack (something I don't experience with other 256 packs). The 64x64 still looks great without the graininess, so I'll keep that.
So I have a major issue with this pack apparently, My server we use a lot of stone brick when building and apparently I cannot see it or anything under it while using this texture pack it just becomes see through :S
As far as I can tell, this does NOT work with 1.1 when used in tandem with the GLSL Shaders and OptiFine.
Steps to reproduce:
Begin with stock 1.1
Install ModLoader
Install OptiFine (I used the multi-threaded version, but it shouldn't matter)
Install GLSL Shaders
Install Photorealism texture pack (I used the uncompressed 256 version)
Move 'terrain_nh.png' and 'terrain_s.png' into 'minecraft.jar'
At this point, it works fine, though everything appears a little blurry. However, as soon as you move the shader files into 'minecraft.jar/shaders', the in-game screen appears as solid shades of brown. Pre-game menus appear to work just fine.
I polished the text a bit more and I'm quite pleased with it. The ONLY thing I can think of that is left to do for the Photo Realism pack is the food bar. I just don't have any good ideas for that yet.
I really wished that I hadn't spend 10+ hours on the font. Perfectionism is hell sometimes. =(

The pack missing 2 textures from being 1.1 compatible. I can tell you that I'm currently running it with the GLSL shaders and optifine on my computer just fine. I installed optifine first and then GLSL. I'm not sure if Modloader is compatible with those mods, to be honest. Try without it perhaps?
You really need to improve the tools... I aint be hatin but it looks like you copied the diamond block texture onto the stick in 3 seconds... at least add shading and some reflectance.
Quick suggestion, consider putting a bit more contrast between a full armor graphic and an empty one. The light blue and the gray sort of blend together.

This is not the texture packs problem. This is an issue GLSL shaders has on some graphics cards. See thread for possible solutions.

Well, the hunger bar always resembled chicken legs to me, maybe high quality chicken legs? Also, the oxygen bar always seemed sort of plain to me. Maybe consider a nice big blue bubble instead of the neutral white circle.
Edit: Also, i'm not sure if you're aware of this or not, but in the 128x pack, the spider eye and rotten flesh don't have high res textures, whereas the 256x variants do.

I don't understand, though. Once GLSL shaders are installed, it works fine. Only once I install the Photorealism shaders, specifically, does it freak out on me.

You are supposed to put 'terrain_nh.png' and 'terrain_s.png' in the LB Photo Realism pack folder, not minecraft.jar.

I'll think about a rework. I know I'm going to touch up the swords so I may do it then.

Should be easy enough. I can easily add in a deeper blue for a higher contrast.
Care for a suggestion? :wink.gif: I still use your texture pack, but the missing textures kept annoying me, so I filled them up with selfmade quicky-textures which I now gradually replace with the new ones you are releasing with every patch.
For the food bar, I just thought of my favorite food (juicy burgers, mmmmh! ) and looked for a nice image of one. I created a sort of black outline for it (for the "empty" food bar icons) which I could then change into different colors to indicate poison and that other color (is that even used in the game?).
So my food bar now looks like this:
It's just thrown together hastilly, so I guess you could do much better than that, I just wanted to give you an idea as to what to do. Your enchanting book looks great by the way^^
I always would love suggestions. =)
I have considered using a burger/sandwich for the texture, but it didn't seem to fit in with the other aspects of a pack that is almost rustic. I think what I'm planning to do is something around Misa's concept. I could use my bread texture or create a new one and get a nice HD food bar with that. Unfortunately, that will make me want to change the health/armor bars as well.

I am aware and I have fixed it in the update coming today. Certainly was a mistake that I had overlooked for quite some time. I thought people were using the latest version when they complained. XD
Interesting. A new oxygen bubble is added to the to-do list.
It's hard for me to tell how much leather i have. The leather texture is pretty light, and the new font has a similar color, so the number is blending in with the texture. Maybe we could change the leather texture to some traditional old tanned brown leather?
Edit: I really like what you did with the font. It really rounds the pack out well.
Sorry, but I was just curious if any one else if having an issue with the font? For some reason mine is a bit mixed up, with extra little line through out. I have a feeling it's me, but any help would be appreciated.
Wonderful texture pack!
Edit: Pretty sure I fixed it, sorry. I made the memory changes to Java, but didn't change to 2048MB when patching HD textures.

I'm not sure what the connected textures mod is, to be honest. So I would assume there is not, lol
Then I get to move on and start making jungles beautiful. =)
Edit:
Post if I screw up something. I usually do. XD
I also added a few things that were still default as well as HD font. :wink.gif:
Nice! also you forgot the changelog :tongue.gif: Nvm was looking at the wrong one!
