I have a problem with this pack. Ok, so I downloaded the 128x version and put it into "texturepacks" Now... my Minecraft IS patched yet when I use the texture pack one of 2 things happens;
1. Items, blocks, and other stuff are completely invisible (except chest, signs, and redstone torches)
2. The terrain (placeable) blocks show up but all items are white squares.
My computer is capable of running this pack. I also have tried some other 128x packs and they work PERFECTLY! I've even tried a clean minecraft.jar and a full repatch... I don't know what to do! I would love any sort of help with this.

Well, for one, ensure you didn't download the compressed version. Tends to have problems. Other than that, allocate more memory to Minecraft and hope it works.
I love the look of this but it is really hard to tell the difference between a pick axe and a wood axe and a fishing rod etc. Could you make the little pictures for each in your inventory bigger?
Book floating above the enchantment table (can be edited with a book.png in the item folder)
EXP-Orbs (can be edited with a xporb.png in the item folder)
Achievement screen GUI (can be edited with a bg.png in a folder called achievement)
Mojang Screen (can be edited with a mojang.png in a folder called title)
Title screen logo (can be edited with a mclogo.png in the title folder)
Title screen background panorama (there's a mod that can do that for you: PanoramaKit)
Just to have it complete again :wink.gif:
Btw, I don't think an HD Font is optional. I know it's a lot of work, but having an HD Texture Pack with the vanilla font just doesn't look right :tongue.gif:
HD font will be a complete pain from what I've examined. Using the design perspective, I've learned that each individual letter/number has to be the same distance away from each other as every other letter/number. It may take a while, but the results will be worth it and it's been long overdue. :wink.gif:
Thank you for updating the list. It's getting much smaller finally, lol
Yup. MC Patcher fixes these problems beautifully, but it is necessary for each texture pack artist to make their own custom color .png and color.properties files, which I'm sure Scuttles will get on to at some point.
And Scuttles, I'm glad you didn't completely get lost in Skyrim and Christmas pressies. I know I did for a while.:tongue.gif:
Happy New Year!
I really did. XD
The girlfriend got me Battlefield 3, Skyrim and White Knight Chronicles II. I have no time for sleep anymore, lol

I'll see what I can do to get a higher variance within the tools.
I also believe there is an option to increase the size of the GUI which should show larger pictures. That may also help you.
Can anybody help me with this? I know it's been answered somewhere on these 100's of pages, but if somebody know's how to fix these shaders, it would be much appreciated.
1. Question would be better suited to the GLSL thread instead of this one.
2. Ensure you have edited your bumpmapping shaders to reflect the size of the pack you are running. By default they are set to 16X16 packs, and problems like this occur if you try to run it with any other size texturepack.
See the wiki on the GLSL thread for how to do this.
Alternatively, if you have done this, it may be due to the fact that the specular mapping has not been properly done for 1.0. In this case, you need to find someone who can make Specular maps and bug them to make one for this pack. And a bump map as well. Many would appreciate it.
I'm having certain trouble with the 128x128 pack. When I first selected it in the Texture Packs option in-game, Minecraft crashed as soon as I pressed "Done". Then, when I entered the game, all the textures looked perfect, but the items. All the terrain blocks looked correct, but the items looked like the standard Default Texture items. Can I have some help?
Did you try patching your minecraft in one of the ways outlined in the OP? I used the MCpatcher first, and then switched to Optifine. Both worked flawlessly for me. I'd suggest the Optifine method simply because it seems to give a performance boost.
In any case, hello! First time posting. I was comparing the 128x pack with the 256x pack for fun and i noticed a few textures that were in the 256x that weren't in the 128x. Not sure if this was already reported/you already know about this, but i thought i'd put down what i found anyhow. So, from what i could tell the rotten flesh, spider eye, and possibly the cocoa bean and ink sack all default to the original 16x16 textures in the 128x pack, whereas in the 256x pack they've got their respective high res textures. I'd go back to check some more and all around be more conclusive, but the 256 pack nearly gives my computer a heart attack no matter how much ram i give Java.
Edit: Scratched mushrooms from my list, the graphic was just really small.
Edit2: Just a quick suggestion. Consider putting the change logs in the OP closer to the top so we don't have to scroll through the entire post to see what's new in subsequent versions.
Hello, i need some help, in the 256x256, my minecraft run in beggining very east, good fps( 60) but when my memory begins to be consumed alot ( like 5 gb when running the texture pack) the game begins to have lag spikes very often, I have 8gb RAM, is it suppose to consume that much of memory or is something wrong?
You're probably not gonna read this but...This is the best pack I've found in a LONG time! :biggrin.gif: The only problem I have is that the planks are too thin. I feel like my cabin is made out of thin wooden strips. :dry.gif: Overall though, everything else is amazing! Thanks again! :cool.gif:
Now when it was lag spikes, now is a freeze and next a black screen, please someone help meeee, i'm using the Optifine HD D3 Multi-core.
What other mods are you running? Which sized TP are you using? Have you allocated more memory to Minecraft? Have you tried with MCPatcher instead of Optifine?
I use the LB Photo Realism 256 pack and i wanted to know if the chickens and cave spiders are going to be fixed anytime soon.
Oh and its the best texture pack that I have come across. Great job!

Define fixed, there is nothing I can see wrong with them.
Also, the mobs are from Misa's pack, used with permission, so if something about the texture doesn't sit right with you than she is the one that made it and may edit it.
I don't post much here but I had to post saying how much I love this texture pack and how great it makes the game feel. I hate all those other "cartoonish" texture packs, just not for me. I think this one really shows how beautiful the game can be. I only use the 64x64 one but it still blows any other texture pack I've ever used out of the water, easily.

I just redownloaded it and its working brilliantly, I guess something must have gone wrong the first time.

I'll repatch and see what's going on. I haven't had any issues yet aside from optifine still not working on my comp. =(
Be sure to have a clean install of Minecraft and potentially the "unpatch" button on the patcher may help fix issues.

Sry for my English.

The thread title answers your question for you. 1.0, though there are 1.8 versions too.
