In English:
Are you using the RPG or Photo texture pack?
I will message Skuttles and see if he can get another link up to hopefully help you.
This would be better suited to the GLSL thread as a question, however:
GLSL installation:
1. Go to the GLSL thread.
2. Go to the 'Download for 1.0' section and download the appropriate file from that section (The windows version, of the everyone else version)
3. Extract the files from the compressed folder,
4. If on a windows operating system, run 'Nitrous.exe'
If on Mac or Linux, run 'Nitrous.jar'
5. Go to this page: http://nitrous.daxnitro.com/repo/
and download the top file.
6. Back in the Nitrous program, go to the 'file' tab in the top lefthand corner and select 'Import'.
7. Import the file you downloaded from http://nitrous.daxnitro.com/repo/ (Should be named something like Shaders2.n2)
8. Click the 'Install mods' button in the Nitrous Program, and wait for it to finish installing.
9. Go to the .Nitrous folder (Located next to your .Minecraft folder)
10. Search through the folders to find the 'Alternate Shaders' folder, then enter it.
11. Select the files (Not any folders, the files should be either .fsh or .vsh files, you need both) for the bumpmapping shaders, and open your Minecraft.jar
12. Inside your Minecraft.jar, open the 'Shaders' folder.
13. Drag the bumpmapping files into that shaders folder, and override every file already there.
14. If you want Depth of Field turned off, open the 'final.fsh' file inside the Minecraft.jar's shaders folder, and put '//' infront of the line '#define DoF'. Also, put the terrain_nh and Terrain_s files in the Photorealism zip file.
15. Close your Minecraft.jar, the installer, and anything else you used for the installation (Optional, but you don't need them any more)
16. Run Minecraft. Bumpmapping should be working, dependent on texture pack size. If using a 16 size texture pack, it will work by default, if using a higher resolution, follow the instructions here: http://daxnitro.wikia.com/wiki/Bump_Mapping_(Shaders2)
To edit the shaders to be appropriate to the resolution you are using.
can anyone post the steps for installing this tpack? its my first one and im a bit lost on installing it, thanks!
r u serious?
not only didnt u read the thread, but u cudnt read a single post above your own?
ppl here are very helpful but it won't do u any good if u won't read
When I installed it,it shows up but when I click it there is a large amount of lag and then it instantly goes back to the default. If anyone can please help me.
You do something called... Patching the jar :dry.gif: Find mcpatcher on the mc forums and download it... once you download it put it on your desktop, open it, hit run, and hit the giant PATCH button once it is done loading.. Minecraft will probably crash the first time you try to switch it, but that is normal just open minecraft again and switch. if it crashes again try patching again. if you can't get it to work, explain your problem and I would be happy to help, and so would many others :biggrin.gif: Sorry for the ... what do you call it... "bluntness"...? I dunno... just hope it helps XD

Are you using the RPG pack? If so, then it is not default, though many textures will still be. The pack is still a major WIP and the menu screen, and more than half the game textures, are not yet done.

1. Download the TP in the resolution you want.
2. Put the .zip folder you downloaded in the 'texture packs' folder of your .Minecraft folder
3. Download the MCpatcher tool and use it
4. Load up Minecraft
5. Go to 'texture packs'
6. Select 'LB Photo/RPG (Dependent on which one you are using) Realism V 2.10blablabla'
7. ???
8. Profit
but... how do I install/use that minecraft.bat file at RPG pack x512?
Place it in the same place as your Minecraft.exe (Usually the desktop) and run it. No install required. It is a .bat file, not a program, and will execute whatever command is inside of it when it is run.
I don't use the compressed, i have the max RAM allowed to a 32bit Windows 7, but i don't know how much i have allocated to Mincraft.
Try using a .bat file to allocate more RAM. It may make them show as they should. There should be instructions for doing something like that in the OP.
Hmmm...bumpmapping doesn't work for me with any sizes...
I got Sphax Pure BD Craft to use bumpmapping just fine...strange...
Anyway, I love this TP with GLSL. "golf clap" :biggrin.gif:
Odd. I have it working fine. It only works for pre 1.7 textures, and is rather feint on some of those textures, but it is working for me. Try using the configurator tool and see if it helps.
I can't get the random mobs to work. Your post says you took misa's random mobs and added it, but it doesn't work for me. All the mobs look default, low-res. Now if I switch to misa's pack they work. I used McPatcher to patch and made sure random mobs was checked.
Just a question, but is there anything that can be done about the water drops and lava drops? I noticed in the TP folder they look quite reasonable, however the game seems to apply a colour filter over them, making them look crap.
Hrrm. Maybe a better question for the MC patcher team.
To get a better X (Example:12x,32x)you need a better video card or more ram ?
1. 16X, not 12X
2. Both preferably, but RAM mostly because Minecraft will throw the out of memory error and stop you using packs that it doesn't have enough memory allocated for. Make sure you are allocating more memory to MC anyway - by default it can have problems running higher res texture packs, no matter how much RAM a PC has (12Gb here. Without a .bat file, can't run 512 pack. MC doesn't get enough RAM allocated). There are instructions for this in the OP.
Hi Scuttles, I have a question... When will you update the RPG pack of yours? I like the pack a lot..
Anyway, thanks for creating it.. :smile.gif:
The RPG pack will be updated once the Photo Realism pack is complete, and Skuttles is happy with everything in it. It was started as a sort of side project, so the main pack takes priority.
After a quick readup, even better. Texture pack Authors are able to edit the colour of things like the Swamp Biome, lighting and more.Skuttles, your wish (and many others) of the swamp grass colour being in your hands has come true. No more ugly swamps <3

Yup. MC Patcher fixes these problems beautifully, but it is necessary for each texture pack artist to make their own custom color .png and color.properties files, which I'm sure Scuttles will get on to at some point.
And Scuttles, I'm glad you didn't completely get lost in Skyrim and Christmas pressies. I know I did for a while.:tongue.gif:

1. Ensure you are not using the compressed version, they are broken.
2. How much RAM do you have, and how much have you allocated to Minecraft.
