Use 128x or use optifine mod. Remember Optifine and MCPatcher don't mix together.
i dont even know what is optifine, but i tried it with all sizes from 32 to 128 and it will not work. water, fire, and lava are invisible, and i see a tiny portal and fire animation on stone.

Optifine is a mod that improves performance, but will also allow you to use HD textures without the need for the HD Patcher.

It sounds like your MC is not supported for HD textures. Use either optifine or MCPatcher, they both add HD support.
Hi guys I'm having trouble with the LBG texture pack. Both 256 x 256 and 512 x 512 aren't working. I believe it's because of the RAM allocation. I tried changing the amount used in minecraft as you advised but it still doesn't work. Also it might be because I'm supposed to be "patching" something. I don't know what that means =(. Help please, Thanks.

After using the download link near the top for the LB Photo Realism Compressed x256.zip file, the version number reported is 5.3.5
Trying to use this with Minecraft 1.0.0.1 results in a few missing textures (this is NOT a RAM issue) if however, I use the one designed for 1.9Pre5 most of the content are there, and the version number reports as 6.9.2
So based on this, I'm wondering if the link above in the original post :

This is probably my best work of art. It's was a continuation off of nickhimself's 256 pack from way back in the day when it never seemed possible.

I personally understand the amount of time it takes, and I didn't know if he was planning on making a custom one. There are plenty of templates for HD Fonts that would work fine for a minor update, that's another reason for my posting that.
At any rate, of course Scuttles has tons of other more important things to do. In no way should he feel compelled to do this, it's just there as a reminder that I would love it if he could release a tiny update with such features. ^.^

Please, please, can we have some kind of direct download link for those of us for whom adf.ly just plain simple flat-out does not work? Put a PayPal donate button on it, and I will TOTALLY send five bucks instead of the few cents that an adf.ly hit gives. I'd far sooner support artists than advertisers. Advertising is a pox on the Internet and a curse on the human race, people who make a living by getting in your face about things you never wanted in the first place. I think it would add to the realism to it.
