Hrrm. I'm going to guess this is just me, but after doing the latest update for this TP my water drops leaking from the roof have gone back to the default ones, and I'd guess that means rain has too, though I have yet to encounter it. Its also the same time I changed my GLSL shaders. I'm thinking its the TP that's done it, so I'll probably redownload it to be safe when I have time. Just putting it out there in case something's up though.
overall, i love this pack :biggrin.gif:
only thing i dont like is that stone and cobblestone are practically the same colour, so you cant tell the difference at a distance. (you can in the RPG pack though)
i used cobblestone to compliment my stone in some places but unless you go close up it looks like all stone

Hi, I am having a problem trying to get the water and lava texture to work of Photo Realism (Not RPG Realism, I haven't tried it but it looks great.) But, anyway... The water shows up with the really detail 256x thing but the little moving circle textures don't show up on it.. Only in buckets does it work right. Same with lava... The black charchoal like rocks over the lava that is cooling do not show up... Both the water & lava texture end up like the Minecraft's defaultish looking texture where is just moving lines. And those cool water and lava texture are one thing that really make this pack epic for me. Please, tell me how to fix this if you can. Is it some way I downloaded it? My graphics card is not good enough? Thanks for reading this! Hope you can respond.

go to options tab, and make sure "Custom Animated" is checked. Then make sure all of the things that have animations are checked (Nether Portal, Water, Lava, ect) Then, click the giant Patch button, can't miss it :tongue.gif:
I'm not calling them issues, I just think you might have overlooked some things that are still in vanilla graphics:
terrain.png: Pumpkin/Melon Stem
particles.png: Droplets of water/lava falling from a ceiling which has water/lava above it, Potion effects, Splash Potion effects
gui/icons.png: Hunger Bar, EXP Bar, Latency Icons, and most importantly a boss health bar, which will be invisible in the game using your icons.png as it's just not there
Also, the book floating above the enchantment table, which is governed by a book.png in the items folder, as well as the EXP-Orbs, which would require a xporb.png in that folder.
The achievement screen is also still vanilla, it can be edited with a bg.png in a folder called achievement.
And lastly, some optional suggestions: The Mojang Screen when the game is started could be customized, as could the title screen logo and background panorama.
This post is not intended as a rant, I just wanted to give some constructive criticism. I still love this texture pack!
Also, Dragon Egg.

Just out of curiosity... why is it that the brewing stand is default when you are holding it, but it isn't once you place it? Just wondering :tongue.gif: It is not really a big deal... just curious XD
Dear Scuttles,
I am a huge fan of your LB RPG Realism texture pack and I have hesitated to update from 1.8.1 so I
can continue to use it. Today I have created a port of your 0.9.0 version and made it compatible for
version 1.0.0 of minecraft. I have added no extra textures but used your 7.0.0 x256 textures as place
holders. I am currently using it for private use and have found very minor bugs, I think it would be
good for the community if you uploaded it so x512 texture users may update to 1.0.0 and give you more
time to work on your other things for a while. I'm sending this reply only to see if you would like me
to upload or send you my ported LB RPG Realism for minecraft 1.0.0 . I am aware that you are busy and
cannot update LB RPG Realism so this is why I wanted to ask you this.

Alright, I don't know what I did wrong, but I just get a blue, white, green or black screen depending on where I'm looking when I install bump-mapping with this texture with the GLSL Shader's installed. As for what I did:
1. Followed the wiki instructions to install glsl shaders. (this was after optifine_hd_mt was installed and the texture pack was tested to make sure Minecraft was working with it)
2. Download the terrain.jpg files on the firstr post that are for bump-mapping
3. Add the command line in the gbuffers_terrain.fsh file that enables bump-mapping for x256 texture packs.
4. Add the terrain_nh and terrain_s files into the root folder foof the Photo Realism .zip file.
5. Start Minecraft.
Did I miss a step or just do something totally wrong? I'd love to get bump-mapping on Minecraft since I know from videos that this texture packs looks awesome with bump-mapping. Any actual help is greatly appreciated!

Are you using the bump mapping shaders from AppData/Roaming/.Nitrous, or the ones in the first post? The ones in the first post are out of date, and will cause the problem you described.

i think the Terrain_nh.png and terrain_s.png for both the 256 and 128pack are outdated. I installed MCPatcher, Modloader, GLSL including Bumpmapping and enabled the 256x Setting there.
The Result is ugly Water that overcrizzles my eyes with white dots during the animation. The Cauldron and melons are flat with no bumpmap on it. So goes for the Brewing stand, Iron Bars, Glasspanes, Enchantmenttable. All the new things have not been implemented by now.
Is there any timeline when this pngs will be updated for the new items?

I would like to use your wildcave textures and edit them if I may?
I have been working on another wildcaves mod like the original and its a little more complicated with more stalactites and stalagmites added.
so if I could use your wildcave textures(and if im allowed to edit them) and have them downloaded with my wildcaves mod, Would be much appreciated.

The ones from the .Nitrous file.
I think I figured out the problem. The line I was supposed to edit in the gbuffers_terrain.fsh file in the Minecraft.jar file I was editing in the texture pack file. I get a playable screen now, but besides the wheat waving I don't notice a huge improvement. Maybe my graphics card doesn't support bump-mapping? It's a GTX 560 so I'd expect it would, but I guess it's possible...
I went to use LB Photorealism and the shaders provided and this is what I got:
Could anyone know what is causing this?
Edit: I am using Minecraft with no mods except Optifine and the GLSL Shaders. I Run LB with the 256 Version.
somewhere in the GLSL thread it said old shaders dont work with the new GLSL version. they need to be updated

I don't think it's the bump mapping, people have been posting up shots of bump mapping in LB, its half the reason im using GLSL.

I just compared LB w\ bump mapping on 256 and no bump mapping on 128 and the only difference I see if minor quality difference.
