He said ITEMS not blocks :tongue.gif: The white box issue on items was quite "popular" a few patches back. Looked like this:
I posted a solution that helped some people back then:
And some time later Scuttles himself summed up all the possible solutions to it:
I knew he said items, I just wasn't sure if he meant blocks too because I have never had it happen before except for all blocks being white with black patterns. So... Hard to explain, but yeah, thanks :tongue.gif:
I think not... you can regocnize the 500 FPS its some smoother :wink.gif:
Lol, ikr? if I am at 130 fps then go to maybe around... 30-80 fps, it looks horrible before I get used to it. :tongue.gif:
But I also did hear a lot of things like this, such as: You can't see it any smoother than 100 fps, 32.5 fps, 60 fps, and of course, 80 fps, I just do not really think it is true, because when I hit my 1500-2000 fps on classic... O.o the game almost looks like it is going faster than normal in a bizarre smoothness that doesn't look like computers should run games in such a way. XD
Apologies to Scuttles. Link is removed. In the event you read my post I ask rather or not I can post this as an unofficial update. It's just for the RPG putting place holders from the original Photo Realism in RPG. But I will wait for permission if you would let me. :smile.gif: I intended no harm. (My original post was just RPG Realism with a few place holders for 1.9)
Well, it's true that the human eye won't see any difference beyond a certain fps number, differs from person to person. However, excess fps is always a good thing, even if your eyes won't see any difference anymore, because it means that in the moments where the strain on the graphics card gets intense (and the fps drop as a result) your eye will still perceive it as fluid.
But then again, wtf? 2000 fps! Never heard of so much before, what kind of supercomputer from 2071 are you using? :wink.gif:
A friend of mine once got a new computer after 10 years or something and marvelling at how smooth all his favorite games ran all of a sudden he said: "They run so fluid that it's going to start dripping out of my monitor any moment now" :laugh.gif:
Ok, classic is very easy to run, and I built my computer that was going to be meant for gaming because I had no computer that would run MC very well, and I had some extra money to use, I had a laptop that would melt on my lap and run at about 20 fps, or... a desktop from like 2000... 4-5 maybe? That was kinda cheap and couldn't even run Minecraft :tongue.gif:
I can run Minecrfat with optimine and all settigns of lowest and get 1000-1200FPS.
You can recognize the high fps if you move and fast looking around,
With beta I can only hit around 900 fps on lowest settings, but still, I am pretty happy with having a constant 100 fps + with the awesome texturepack that you are working on. :wink.gif:
Hello all, as this is my favorite texture pack and I liked RPG Realism even more than the original I have decided to make a few minor texture updates. I DID NOT CREATE THIS!!! I simply took textures form the original Photo Realism and replaced missing ones in RPG Realism. (Not all of them if you use 1.9) All credit to Scuttles. If you disagree with my post simply ask and I will remove it.
Here is the link: RPG Realism 256
EDIT: In the event that you don't know what to do...
1. Click link above.
2. Right-click image and click "copy."
3. Go to the desired texture pack. (RPG Realism 256x)
4. Right-click in the zip file of the texture pack and select "paste."
5. All done!

Here are the specifics of that license:
Gold: A strict level of security. Having this on your pack indicates that your textures can only be used after written permission is obtained from the creator of the pack. It also indicates that adfly links on remixes are never acceptable, under any circumstances.
@Darkreign Writte this as Inofficial Update and put the other textures placeholders in it that it can used for 1.9Pre5 but not a half thing what nobody can use.
I give you the permission for it.
:wink.gif:
I am not sure entirely who you are or your affiliations with this pack, but that decision is for Scuttles to make
Im in one of Dev Team of this pack :wink.gif: made some textures for it and support people here when is time less.
I have the permissions for it :wink.gif:
the conditions are
- made the terrain.png complete that they is compatible with 1.9pre (no half things)
- credit him.
- never redistribute as your own.
- delete when RPG update is released.

Oh okay. Sounds good! You should think about joining the texture artist's union

Thanks for the heads up believe me I did not see this. Hopefully he will see and let me do unofficial updates. I will wait however I just know most people I know can't afford Photoshop and that's the only software I have that can open the 256 and 512 packs without a blur problem. Again thanks for the heads up I really appreciate it. I meant no harm to Scuttles or others.

Actually, read blizzard's post, he gave some permission, I didn't know he was a part of the art crew now for this pack

I didn't give him permissions to start throwing around my pack. :sad.gif:
Please don't do that Blizzard.
I would like to keep track of who I give permissions to for documentation. If I get a message from a mod, I want to have proof backing up statements. :wink.gif:
Blizzard is part of the crew, though. I have quite a few these days. Most just pm me, lol

Sounds good. Could you PM me the link so I could add it to the main post?

Next update I will incorporate a new gravel texture. I hated the way it tiled so I left it out for this one. Sorry.
This weekend for sure. Skyrim will butcher my freetime, though. XD

Perhaps you should list the crew on the OP somewhere for future reference :tongue.gif:
Also, if there are others in your crew I recommend that they join the texture artists' union
Great work on this pack, I love the way the glass, lava and water look. Really brightens up my mine! Maybe I've missed something, but this is meant to be compatible with 1.9.5?
I see no textures for nether fence (appears blank white), nether brick (same), large grey mushrooms(appears as cacti/grass) or stone bricks (invisible). Also glass panes and particularly wooden fence are incredibly difficult to make out in the inventory. It'd be great to see them fixed!
Umm... not sure what is happening, because there is a Netherbrick, StoneBrick, and all mushrooms have a texture. This pack is supported for 1.9 pre 5, but does not have all the textures such as the brewing stand, netherwart ect. but all the things you were talking about DO have a texture, just try redownloading and repatching with the newest mcpatcher. And what resolution are you using?
I'm using 256x256. I've tried it with both MCPatcher (which now that I've re-tried it causes my game to not launch) and OptiFine which works ok. The red mushrooms, when grown large with bonemeal, look fine. But the grey ones have cactus flowers for the stem and grass for the top.
Also, the food bar is a series of weird purple squares and the experience bar just isn't there at all. Neither are experience orbs.
Edit: PM me and I'll add you to our server if you'd like to check our map, I can point out where it's happening then if it helps.
Weird. I have only had this exact thing happen when I was using the out dated 128x texture :tongue.gif: So, I am not sure what you can do to fix this.
Take your time, I dont be doing anything else except playing Skyrim as well :wink.gif:
Just have the textures ready for the "final" bro.
have a good one!
Yea, Skyrim is absolutely fantastic so far. I love RPG games almost too much.
Hrm, Well I was using the 1.9pre5 compat. compressed version which also has a different style for the inventory (much better!). Downloaded the full pack again, re-downloaded and re-patched my jar and it's working now. Sorry for wasting your time although there's possibly something amiss with the compressed pack.
Ah, ok. I don't keep the compressed versions updated because of the constant updating creates quite a pain in the ass for the process to make it so small.
I will have a compressed version for the final release eventually.

it was on the x256 as well

Made this my self... PS HIT THE GREEN BUTTON (if you do ill give you a cake)
can you tell me where to get it? cause i tried geting it from the forum here?

I will not let you down. ^^
It's quite alright, Blizzard.
I just want to have control of where my pack is distributed. :wink.gif:
