I have the largest version of the photo realistic texture pack.. but it doesn't seem to be working properly. Some of the things - like animals and menus and such - look beautiful. But basic things like grass, trees, and water all look like the default minecraft pack. is there any way to fix this? it's quite bothersome.
I have know idea what is causing you to get default grass and water... all I can suggest is to get the new mc patcher if you haven't all ready, and if you have, redownload the texture, and patch it again with the new mcpatcher. I hope this helps because the water is amazing :tongue.gif:
I've never installed an hd texture, always seemed like too much work for too little reward. But I will definitely give this a shot. Just amazing.
I actually don't blame you for not trying to install an HD texture because it is "too much work" because I thought the same way before I started doing HD textures. I thought it was way more complicated than it really was, but then, I started doing them but it turned out to be very simple :tongue.gif:
Awsome texture packs! I love the 256 one, but I lag a bit so I tried 128 instead. I don't lag at all, BUT, clear stones have small netherportals and fires on them, and water is invisible. What did I do wrong?
Download the latest version of the MC patcher and use it.
I realy like this Pack but some new things like the Enchantment Table and the Brewing Stand are not supported or don't even exist.
Hope this is fixed soon, but still nice work.
Which version of the pack are you using. I believe the Photo Realism 256 is being updated first and foremost, then the others are being updated when there is time. From what I understand they should all be there for the 256 version
I believe the latest one, though I do not use the pre-releases so I am not entirely sure. It also depends on which size and which pack you are using. The Photo Realism 256 will be the most updated I believe.
This Texture PACKS have epic lags. I have 1-3fps on 256, 128, 64 ... but CPU used only 30-40% RAM -700mb (3GB MAX). Other packs works good
I have about 90 fps+ with the 256x one, but with the 512x it says the same, but it looks choppier. If you want it to use more RAM, try downloading the .bat file, and use that to run Minecraft. I have 8gb of RAM, and without the .bat I can only use about 50% of 910 mb, but with the .bat, it is about 30-40% of 2024 mb, and no real fps change :tongue.gif: So, more RAM that is allocated does not really make it run better. At least for me.
this texture pack is the best one ive ever used. i love it :laugh.gif: only 1 problem: the endermen eyes. the default eyes are just below the texture eyes, making it look... well... kinda cute. how do i get rid of the default glowing eyes? thx for the help :smile.gif:

Please click this. Don't worry, it's not a screamer or any crap like that.
Should I make the eedportal match with your endblock texture...(with your endereye texture, too)
Some Artifacts on the netherwarts..
Send you a fixed version of the item cuz the bottle need a fix.
and whats going on with your gui it looks sooo :S sorry the old was such better....
I'm working on the enderportal tonight. You can make one if you wish and I'll see if I can improve based on what we both have. :wink.gif:
I'm not sure what the issue with the bottle was or the artifacts on the the netherwarts. Do you some screenshots that can help me identify the issue better?
The GUI has been the same for over 2 months. =/
I simply updated the 1.9 GUI to match the rest of the pack. I did find an issue with my alchemy.png, though. I forgot to delete a layer so that will be fixed in the next update.
can i get some help?? i installed everything, patched and tried the fix at the top of the fourm post and all the items are still white boxes, other than that AMAZING texture pack,
Most realistic texture pack ive ever seen too bad my computer is too slow for anything higher than 64x64 which lags me lags me to the fine line between unbearable lag and bearable lag so i usually use 32x32 but yeah this is an amzing texture pack (in terms of realism)
can i get some help?? i installed everything, patched and tried the fix at the top of the fourm post and all the items are still white boxes, other than that AMAZING texture pack,
P.S. i tried both x256 and X128
Not sure what your issue is, and I know what you are talking about with the "white boxes" because it happens to me every once and a great while, I am not sure what causes this, but I usually repatch or redownload if it doesn't work. And do you mean all the "items" or all the blocks? When it happens to me, everything turns almost completely white, except for some patterns of black depending on the block. All the textures turn 8x8 too. :/
And for the update... tried out the new, updated pack, I really like the endereyes and the enchantment table. Please keep the updates coming, I am excited to see the new textures you will make in the future. Hopefully you aren't too busy like you have been lately, and again, I wish you more luck on the upcoming updates. :smile.gif:

OK, I know I replied late to this comment but I can't help not replying to it :tongue.gif: but, if you see any default textures, or there is no texture at all and you installed it correctly, that means the pack is outdated, but don't worry, there will eventually be an update and there will be a texture.
1. Is it in the same place as the file you launch Minecraft from (Either the shortcut or the .exe will work I believe)
2. Are you on a 64bit OS (Probably should have asked this earlier)
Rofl I can run it at 500FPS.
Please update to 1.9pre5.
500FPS is a waste. The most you will be able to notice is between 30 and 60, maybe 80 if you're really lucky. The human eye isn't that fast, you'd do better running MC on 'Energy Saver' instead of 'Max FPS' if you get an FPS like that, as is you are just wasting a fair bit of power and heating up your GPU unnecessarily.

Exactly, and I wish you more luck on more progress on the awesome texturepacks. :wink.gif:
Download the latest version of the MC patcher and use it.
Use the .bat on the OP, and what specs does your system have other than RAM: GPU and CPU models + clock speed would be helpful.

I hate these 502 errors...

I tried the .bat, it crashes when i start it/
Put the .bat in the same location as the launcher. Probably in desktop.
I should finish downsizing for the lower resolutions and upload it within an hour or so.
Please leave comments if you have any comments/issues. I'll be glad to help now that I'm significantly less busy these days.

Awesome, I can't wait to get home from school today to try out the new, updated pack. :biggrin.gif:
