Thank you so much for making a 16x resolution for this! I love it so much! Are you going to keep updating the 16x version until the real Minecraft comes out?
Have you tried using Optifine instead of MCPatcher? That's a mod which combines the HD-Texture support of MCPatcher with a nice optimization of many features of Minecraft. Though admittedly it depends on your hardware wether it actually helps or not. Just give it try.
I Love your texturepacks. I have every single one of them. Keep up the amazing work! Honestly I think that your textures are the best out there for minecraft. I'll keep giving out the word for you!
Is it possible to add new stars? The current ones looks a bit boring. Maybe you can add constellations, and different star sizes. It would make it look really cool :biggrin.gif:
As far as I know Stars are non-editable by Texture Packs. I have a thread for it in the suggestions subforum, and have tweeted Notch about it. I'll have to PM the HDpatcher crew with the idea sometime, as I think they ignored my post in their thread...
But yeah, I'm trying to gather support into getting this 'fixed'. Drop in on the thread if you can, if I get enough people liking the idea, I might be able to get something to happen.

I've also got to hand it to you guys, My new project looks absolutely amazing with this Texture Pack. If I ever manage to finish it and post it, I am definitely putting this as a must have for it. Looking forward to seeing all the 1.9/1.0 stuff when it is properly released, I'm saving the treat until then. :3
For some reason my brick shows up as a divided into 8 block (as if you divided it in half in each dimension) with some of the sub block being nether portal, brick or fire. Really weird.

Any fixes for this?
I had this problem with a different pack, but it was outdated, do you have the latest version of mcpatcher? If you do, try patching it again, or if that still doesn't work, maybe you could try re-installing the texture pack? Not really sure what the issue is, as I have only had this happen once, and it was only because it was outdated. Hope this helps.
Oh, and when is the updated version for 1.8 coming out? I saw it was supposed to come out this past Saturday, which was yesterday. Did I read something wrong? Or are things not going too well at the moment?

I am also having problems with:
water not appearing
lava looking like netherrack
fire looking messed up. solid red color
also the 256 is not working only 128 and below. I suspect this is my computer though...

Ok the patcher fixed all of that. One more question I hope someone can answer. I like fully clear glass but I think it would look better with some reflection to it. Are there any mods that work for this?

Probably, but I haven't heard of any. There are mods for almost everything. There is a reflective water one though that is the Water Shader mod if you have not yet heard of it. :tongue.gif:

I have heard of it and I am trying to get it... Of course I am having problems there as well. Maybe you have knowledge of these problems too. If follow that mods directions and after opening a map it show my hand and items list but no world. Just white that fades darker at the edges. Any suggestions?
Hi
i have a question
what is the minimum system req for this release 512 version?
my pc spec is:
zotac geforce gtx 260 graphic card
2 gig of ddr2 ram
cpu:intel core 2 duo e7300 2.66 GHz and 2.67 GHz
os:windows xp sp3
thank you

Depends on what you mean by reflection. If you mean that IMO crappy sheen that the default texture has too it, that's in the texture itself.
If you mean a light reflection in real time, when the GLSL shaders are updated I believe there may be some way to make that happen.
If you mean a reflection of an image of the area, like the Water shader mod, I do not believe there are any out there that do this ATM. You could suggest it to the water shader team to add it in as an option for a future update, but no guarantee they'll listen.

Only things you might have a problem with are CPU and RAM.
For 1, use the .bat file.
For 2, Make sure MC is allocated at least 1Gb RAM, though that is possibly too little. To make sure it has this RAM allocated to it, open it up, load up a world, then press F3. The numbers in the top right hand corner along the lines of 'xMB/yMB' (For me 1800Mb/5966MB) will tell you how much RAM MC is using (Former) and how much it has allocated to it (Latter).
To allocate more RAM, use the instructions on the first page, or find someone who has posted how to make a .bat file to do this, or go to page 378 (I think) and try the link on one of the posts there to get the MClauncher that will allow you to choose how much RAM to allocate to MC on startup. Note, I am getting a 'You don't have permission' Error trying to access the last one, so you might not be able to get there.

Hmm I'll check it. Does it require modloader?
Here you go.

Hope you like it!
No it does not. It's a really nice mod. I recommend it 100% Even if you don't need it, it has some awesome customization options.

But however... one problem on the regular pack (all sizes): Hey who stole my water texture!?
