epic pack. for you. but the requirements listed, are not 1.3 compatible yet. just saying. ^^
You saying I missed something. >:sad.gif:
I thought I put all of the 1.3 textures into the pack even if they were the default ones such as the items.

Doesn't work in 1.3.01
Yeah it does O.O .
P.S:Great work dude.
Thanks and yea texture packs should work regardless, it's just a matter of items not showing up or not.

ya, patiently waiting for a 1.3 update for textures.. before I play the game at all. It's amazing what you guys have done with this game. Your textures are so epic.. that I do not want to play this game at all without them.
1.3 update should be available. It only has HD beds and redstone switches at the moment. I'll be finishing up many touches today, though if you wish to wait longer. ;D
If you mean than i must copy the texturepack (the files in the zip) in the minecraft.jar (in the .minecraft folder) than it makes the same error... =/

I guy from a previous post suggested that you try the new loader at the download page of Minecraft. I hadn't had this problem personally, but I downloaded the new loader and things still work for me.
the old and the new loader still have the same prob =/
That's very odd. =\
Do you have 64bit java installed? It might be simply a java issue with memory allocation.
Also, I did some research and it seems that it's usually caused with outdated or corrupted versions of Java itself. Try uninstalling and reinstalling java.
Hey...don't try to make de 256x so "perfect" . Realism is good , but when you have low fps it's not soo good , and verry few players will play with 256x ( most 128x) becouse it's lowering the fps much ! I'm going for the 128x :sad.gif:. I'm not saying it's not the most realistic texture pack but with a price. Everybody wants to play a smooth minecraft right ? :tongue.gif:
P.S: Not trying to be rude but i found a texture pack 256x and it's not so realistic like yours it's a little more "gaming" style , but the point is that it's fun to play with it and i have verry high fps...
how about textures for the Coral Mod, and sdk's guns?
The coral mod does seem extremely impressive and I'll have to work on that for some really great underwater experiences. This mod I'm willing to do.
I've also had some requests for sdk's guns and I've decided to put that aside for now because it's not the direction I'm going at the moment. Maybe in the near future, but not yet.

The reason I'm making the 256x256 pack so "perfect" is because there is nearly 3 times the downloads for the 256 than the 128 pack. The poll doesn't lie. XD
The high resolution packs do take a toll on the fps, but I'm making all the textures at a high resolution so that I can downscale them later to the 128.
I've been pinching every bit of fps I can without losing quality all of the time. I've actually be able to increase this pack's fps by about 15 with many lower resolution aspects such as Misa's mobs and lower res menus. Albeit that it using my computers specs to make comparisons to so other people might experience different results.
Note to Archer, this water tiles tremendously better. =)
Taken as the sun was coming down, sorry for darkness.
Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem.
If you wish to report this, please copy this entire text and email it to [email protected].
Please include a description of what you did when the error occured.
-Error Report-
That error report is either java running out of memory or your computer running out of memory. In either case the game overloaded and crashed. =/
Have you tried installed the 128x128 instead if you are using the 256x256

On the main post could you add pictures of the mobs?
Mobs are currently Misa's because I seem incompetent in making them. Their thread is linked somewhere in the original post.
My mother loves orchids so I decided to give this attempt to replace the yellow ones.
Anyone else agree that I should attempt this?
yea I dunno if I put the zip in the "textures" folder I get a crash, and I can't find an mcpatcher that works with 1.3 yet.
just suffered some major corruption thanks to an mcedit update though so I think I'm done minecrafting for the day. It didn't erase my work for the day, but it has added a number of steps to get back to where I was.
backups=invaluable when working on major projects.
Well atleast we have beds so we can skip the night now!
And seriously the pack looks amazing!!
Indeed those beds are saving my ass alot of rage. =)

Hi Scuttles, many thanks for responding to me! I have tried the 128 texture pack but that does not seem to be working for me either. When i log into minecraft it said minecraft updating when i add the 128 texture pack but then seems tofreeze.
I would have thought my comp could handle it i have 4gb ram, amd quad core 955 3.8ghz and a radeon 4890.
Any other ideas? And thanks again mate! xD
You probably would have to reinstall the hd patcher mod after the game updated. It cleans the .jar when you update the game.
I decided to post these instead of updating the pack again. I'll need some testers. The new water completely eliminates tiling, even in the distance. The high res white noise adds in additional effects and almost seems to shimmer in the distance. :biggrin.gif:

I would certainly love pictures. I miss Archer and sushimaster competing who had the best set of pictures. Good old days of when this pack was still young. =D

and you are so right! I've just had to blow away a map chunk and recreate it cos of updates. No worries though. not a bit of work lost, just.. displaced elsewhere in my map lol. If someone finds a chunk of a building stuck in a cave somewhere.. well that'll be their prize cos.. I don't know where it went but I found part of my harbor out in the ocean lol.
they're for the best though.. we have to take it in stride. It's a labor of love right? RIGHT?? lol.
here's the bed and icon I worked up today...since minecraft wont work for me >.> the bed is kinda what I was suggesting for you...kinda..general idea..I know you would do a much better job on it :tongue.gif:
IMAGE GALORE! ( 13 images )
P.S. I put in the new Water, And I get waay less lag for some reason :/ Any ideas why? (I did use AMD Fusion though...)

but uh.. after about 3 minutes of play my screen went black.
I find this happens when your system is overwhelmed.
I have a geforce gtx465 card, amd phenom x4 cpu, 4gb ram, win7 x64.. is this not sufficient for a 256 texture?
might have to go back to mixcraft hd which I really like too.
I have an easy fix to give you some fps.... AMD Fusion *Made by the people who make AMD. Not sure if it works with nvidia but try it! Put it on gaming mode and it enables your computers full power. That + gamebooster overkills games ;P
I've got AMD Phenom II X3, 4GB Ram, Windows 7 x64, But with a crappy Graphics card - HD 4250 (Gonna upgrade)
