NOTE: Before you read this post i want to say that i fixed the problem. I just forgot to MCPatch minecraft. Im letting the post stay, so that if anyone else have the same problem, they wont feel as dumb as me.
Dude, this texture pack is great. Since 1.8 ive been using it and i will never go back to the default texture again, well, unless i cant fix my problem that is. You see, Ive updated minecraft to 1.9 Pre release 4, and when i started the game everything was black and white and it was impossible to see what was what (the MENU however was fine). Anyways i deleted the texture pack and downloaded it again, just to see if it was updated (one guy said it did work on his 1.9 PR4), but now i cant get minectaft to choose the texture pack. It is in the texture pack folder and i do find it on minecraft, but when i click it, everything freezez for like 5 seconds before i can choose "Done" etc. Thing is minecraft doesnt change the texture pack. I did use the texture pack in 1.9 PR3, and it worked.
My specs:
Windows XP
AMD Athlon (tm) 64 X2
Dual Core Processor 6000+
3.11GHz, 2GB RAM
And as ive allready said, it worked fine without any lagg or any other problems before the 1.9 PR4 update.
I was figuring on trying the 256x256 for myself, and the 64x64 on my kids' somewhat less capable machines. (They're running dual-core Atom D525s with NVidia ION2 graphics and 4GB RAM. I'm running a Thuban-core PhenomIIx6 and an overclocked GeForce GTX560Ti. Kinda not an equal comparison...)
It should be downloading as a zip file, I'm assuming your comp is unzipping it by itself, so go to your username in finder and open up the downloads folder, then check to see if the zipped version is in there. IF that doesn't work, it also sounds like you're zipping the whole texture pack folder when trying to zip it yourself, which wont work. You have to open the folder and zip the contents of it, so open it and select all of the files inside of the folder and THEN compress them. Drag the new zip folder out and place it in the texture pack folder. Then use the HD patcher and that should work, i hope this helps, gl!
THANK YOU MY FRIEND!
I was beginning to become very discouraged! I tried EVERY which way I could think of, except that!!! Thank you again for reading my problem and contributing!!!

so now my system is amd phenom II x4 3.5 ghz , ati radeon 5570 4gb ram and c'mon guys i can play crysis on very high but MINECRAFT on 256x is laggy..wtf
Look into how game engines work before you complain. Prebaked crysis maps can employ a number of tricks minecraft cannot. For one thing it has static geometry for its assets, whereas minecraft is dynamic, and has to calculate the geometry and placement of every single block in your view, whereas a game like crysis would look at it like all one asset, not individual blocks. Not to mention theres no viable way for it to have a LOD, as it cant turn distant geometry into flat textures.
Hello,
I have a probleme and im trying to find a fix on this forum but I don't find any, maybe ive pass it.

Ive add the "-Xincgc -Xmx2048M" into my Java.
Plz help me :smile.gif:!
Thanks for any help!
I'm using 1.9.4 and I can't even get it to switch to that texture pack. Wow it looks fantastic too. I also added the -Xincgc -Xmx2048M to the user settings. I wonder if I need to add it to system settings as well.

Your bat file have to be in the same location as your launcher. I doubt your computer is powerful enough to run 512x smoothly. There's optifine for it.

The bat is in the same folder but it's not working :/
And In my opinion I think i can run x512 :smile.gif:

In the same folder where the launcher is? What is your bat file text? 2.4Ghz is little slow especially for MC since it only uses one core. I hope you have a good GPU.

Woops, I have a 3.7, it's a It's a I7 so :smile.gif: My GPU is a GTX 470
The .bat is the one gived out on the first thread.
Does anyone have a clue why I can run LB RPG 0.9.0 x256 and x512 perfectly, but the original LB Photo Realism 6.6.8 x256 and also PureBD x256 lags so much?
I have posted in the optifine thread before to see if sp614x knew about it or if he could fix this issue.
The point is that 128x packs run normally, most 256x lag as hell, and 512x packs do not lag at all for me (+40 fps all day).
I'm also using optifine and aggressive launch options for minecraft, but that doesn't change much.
Pc specs:
Intel i5 2500k slightly overclocked
I'm also using the HD3000 On-chip gpu overclocked to 1.6 ghz over 1.1 stock.
8gb of 1333mhz memory
Win7 Ultimate 64 bit, and I'm using the latest Java7 64 bit build.
It just seems like a weird mystery, I also updated the bios & *every* driver possible, including the gpu drivers.
The hd3000 drivers release notes state that they made improvements to the OpenGl side of things and they even specifically mention minecraft *yay*.
It just seems like every driver they release gets better and better, but they still have a lot to learn from AMD and Nvidia. The driver release cycle is slow as hell.

My guess, LB RPG Realism don't have much stuff as Photo Realism and PureBD, so it'll use less VRAM. You should get a good dedicated GPU with as least 1GB VRAM.

Got them, thanks very much. Will test them out right away. :smile.gif:
Holy crap thats amazing! Is that seriously going to be the texture?

TL;DR - Learn before you complain.

You definitely can run 512x. This bat code works for me. Are you sure you saved as .bat? Select All files as a save type.
