:\ I can't get the 512x to work. I'm not sure if im not giving the game enough memory, or what.. If I did it right, your supposed to go to java and put the Runtime Parameters to -Xmx?m. I have it set to -Xmx8192m, should be more than enough. But I don't think im doing it right. Can someone help? :biggrin.gif:
How much RAM to you have on your computer? You cannot allocate all of it to Minecraft. Do you have the 64-bit version of Java or the 32-bit version? I forgot what the upper limit of the 32-bit version is but its around 2-3G. Also try using the .bat file that is on the front page and put it where your minecraft.exe file is you are still going to have to edit the file but it is what I did and it worked. If your using a Mac OS I cant help you.

Just out of curaisty what is the system specs of people who run the 256x pack?
I can run about (60 fps<-While its raining) average using the 256x pack. My specs are:
Quad Core AMD 955 Phenom II OC'd to 3.8ghz (On the stock cooler FTW!!)
Geforce gtx 560 Gigabyte, GPU Clock: 975MHz <--Also Majorly OC'd, Memory: 1002MHz, Shader: 1950MHz
4g of PNY Ram(1333MHz), 8gb of Kingston Ram(1600MHz)
Uh i guess that's all that's important really.
are you going to make a 512X for LB photo realism? i know you have one for the rpg pack. but i like the photo realism pack better. not that there is any thing wrong with the rpg pack.
I asked this about 20 pages back (:tongue.gif:) and Scuttles has said that it is quite likely he will not, due to the sheer amount of work it would take.

There was a fix for this someone made, that allowed MC to use up to 6Gb, however I no longer have access to the page for some reason. The link is on page 178.
could you make X64 textures for balkons wepeon mod?
Skuttles will eventually make textures for mods, mostly those that add aestetics to the game from memory, however this will be once the packs are completed per se. Currently, there are a couple of 1.8 features and 1.9 features that need to be finished for the Photorealism 256, and even more for the 512 RPG. That will take priority to mods.
Just out of curaisty what is the system specs of people who run the 256x pack?
I run it at nigh on 200 FPS with:
Intel i7 2600K OC'd to 5.3Ghz
12GB Corsair DDR3 1600 RAM
Nvidia 9800GTX
That is all that should matter I think. I use about... 600 Mb of memory according to the F3 window, and CPU never uses much at all. Graphics card is old, but still runs everything at max (Except BF3, am upgrading for that soon).
Well, just found out, Dragons will have some sort of no-clip or terrain phase out ability. I don't believe he's going for terrain destruction, as that would make building things no more fun, but it will be able to fly through blocks in one way or another.
Also, it is planned to be invulnerable.
So, a suggestion to whoever it is that ends up making the dragon skin (As I get the impression that more than just Skuttles is working on this pack):
Make it somewhat etheral, black and purple. I'd go for a fuzzy outline that is part transparent part solid, and the main inner part as full solid. Just... make it look like something that could phase through rocks. My base impression of it is similar to the Nether Drakes from WC3 (http://classic.battle.net/war3/images/neutral/screens/thumb-netherdrake.gif).
I think it might add a bit more towards it, seeing as its able to pass through terrain and all.
Oh, and I just realised Misa does the animals. I'll get around to putting this to Misa later, but atm I've got to go to work. If someone does it whilst I'm gone, thanks, but if not then Don't Worry about it.
Hey... Would you get mad and start kicking me if I said your pack was our favourite texture pack? For my server? I have seen a few others with "official" packs and though we should have one too. Just wanted to ask before I did. So you know all we would do is put a link to this page on our thread.

ok i remade my texture remix and used some of your textures, but as I noticed in the end, there is no chest.png in the items folder, so they keep the old texture.
OMG SRSLY WTF. Y is this not the default texture pack yet?

This is a stunning texture pack! I'm absolutely in love with it and I often build towers up high just to look down on the scenery it creates.
One suggestion, could you possibly make the mossy stone bricks blend better with normal stone bricks, for design purposes? They seem much too differentiated for my tastes but like I said, just a suggestion.

Most of the worlds problems are due to stupidity or ignorance.

My family computer can run 256x at 60fps with the help of optifine mod.

Amazing pack !
Click Here to see something awesome...
Because Notch isn't going to scrap the original 16x16 default so he can use someone else's texture pack. Use your head.
Make sure you have the executable jar file and the .bat file in the same folder.
It is on the OP, with the rest of the Downloads.
