Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.
It won't allow me to select the x256, or the x500 (I can't remember the exact number.) When I click on it, it freezes for a second, and then It does not select that texture pack. It selects Default. Help?

http://www44.zippyshare.com/v/40217548/file.html for those needing the x256 pack since it's very hard to find the 1.8 version 6.6.2. The chests are still default you can always add in a chest.png and largechest.png to the Items folder. This is still the authors of course just an alternative because of a non working link on the first page :smile.gif: .
I love this pack and wish to try the RPG version, however, when I download it and select it in the texture pack folder it has the default icon but in grey and if I select it it just uses the default one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Also always keep in mind if you are looking at your lcd monitor at an upward angle it will be darker. Looking at the middle of the monitor at eye level or higher increases brightness.
Got a problem. I tried both Optifine AND MC Patcher (NOT at the same time) and my item textures are pixelated. Everything else looks great...so far.
Anyone know the reason why?
This is what I have:
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad 3.00GHz
RAM: 4x2GB DDR3 Kingston HyperX 1600MHz
Video Card: Asus GeForce ENGTS450 DirectCU (1GB VRAM X16 PCI-E) (Driver Version 280.26 DirectX 11)

Life is a Learning Curve.... Unfortunately, you're stuck on the bottom...amongst the bones of the stupid.
It looks like you're using Misa's pack (which is a 64x64 texture pack), not LB Photo Realism. Looking at your screenshot, everything seems fine I guess.
*facepalm...
I posted here because I didn't know WHAT was causing the problem. I just found out it was Misa's texture pack. And you answered my question in the second half of your post, so you could have left the top flippant remark unsaid.

I really love your both packs, really nice antialiased textures, but problem is - dark is too dark. All textures that are supposed to be dark are dark too much. I need to set brightness +40% to have it normall. And nother problem is glowstone. In both packs, they do not glow. They are just glow. Without any pack, you can see how much glowstone glow. It glow another 2-3 blocks in every direction.
If this will be fixed some time.. I will be really happy :smile.gif:
Nah, it's you. The textures are not that dark. I think you spend too much time in the sun. Also higher resolution textures tend be little bit dark, but not that noticeable.
i have a fix for run out of memory and it increases your FPS !
its a minecraft starter that lets you chose how much ram you want to start it with! Forum link! becouse the old way doesnt work anymore this does evrythin automaticly
Interesting. I'll look into that. It seems quite nice. ^^
No. But I'll try if I get the template for that mod. :biggrin.gif:
I suck ass at Making new Textures, But I'm beast at editing.
EDIT----
Just downloaded x256 LB PR... I found an error already. :biggrin.gif:
The pack.txt is ****ed up, The version of the pack is 6.2.0
The pack.txt says 6.1.0
I love correcting Scuttles :biggrin.gif:
I too would love to see support for the Connected Textures Mod. If you still need the template, it is available in the Connected Textures thread Tavidatum linked to. If you prefer to copy & paste the URL, you can use www.minecraftforum.net/topic/228862-181connected-textures-mod-v14

Also, is there any plan for a Melon/Pumpkin-Stem texture upgrade? I know you had some problems with the Vines and I can imagine that the stem, actually being a 3-dimensional texture ingame will cause even more but it just doesn't look right if everything around it is HD but the stem itself is not :tongue.gif:
Yea, I've been toying around trying to make it look right, but it hasn't gone quite smoothly. One of my mistakes actually turned into the vine texture. XD
I may have a look at other packs to see how they managed it and go from there. Hopefully another update coming tonight. I've had some down time with college and it's been nice. ^^
Edit:
How does the 1.9 swamp look? I couldn't find another to test it thoroughly.

Oh wait... I forgot I haven't released my netherbrick, I think
I really like this mod, and I loaded it up.
I first tried the 64X64 and some of the blocks were bugged.
So, I deleted it and tried the 128x128 instead, but it was even worse.
Every block had a purple void, water, and lava up near the corners.
Here's a quick screen shot...
So, I came and started reading through some of the comments and it LOOKS like this isn't working on 1.8 - is that correct? It's a little confusing on the website, because there are two links to download each file. The first link is the one that I used because the bottom link (the condensed version) said that it wasn't 1.8 combatable so I assumed that the first link WAS 1.8 combatable.
Now I'm having a problem getting the patcher to work, but I posted over there to try and get it fixed.
I'll post here again if needed, but if this wasn't working in 1.8 anyway, then I didn't want to spend more time on it. :smile.gif:
I do not know if this is something I have done wrong or if it is the texture packs fault but when I put down a chest and I can see it but when i put down a double chest it just turns white like this:
1.8, on the other hand, is just about 100% finished. Only exception being the zombie flesh. I'm working on getting a nice texture for that sometime.

I shall look into it. :wink.gif:
I actually forgot about the gravel completely. It is ready, though. =)
I'll see about the graphical error in the cactus and the Netherbrick is more temporary until I get a nice one going.

But regardless it will come in time.
I'm loving this pack the 128x I run around 100 FPS.
need to test the 256 to see how that goes
