I dont know what is wrong / what i must do to run it =/ when i run the mc_Patcher Test it runs but if i start with the minecraft.exe it doesnt run after the mojang logo it Crashs with out an error. But in the folder where the minecraft.exe is the error.log is save =/
Wow... Your computer is just full of error isnt it? Anyways, Love the new update, I havent encountered any errors but if I do I'll just replace that texture with the old one. And as for the mobs, Im keeping the old one and the new one :biggrin.gif:
Its bigger on the inside, Oh and try taking the example from misa's 64x64, Then make it bigger?
Testing the 256x256 Pack, If its too laggy, I hope not, Then I'll just switch back :biggrin.gif:
EDIT----
Wow, 10FPS @ 256x256, Whereas I get 30 @ 128x128 :/
Imma try it with all animations off to see if it improves.
I'm trying to cut down on some fps at the moment so I'm using Misa's mobs because they are quarter the resolution. I haven't checked my fps in the new update yet, I hope it hasn't broken it. =(

Increasing the saturation of the water makes it much more appealing in terms of brightness and color. Would you like me to send you the new water images?
I'm working on a higher detailed water caustics. It's just not at the top of my list at the moment, but I would like to see what you've got in mind. =)
Edit:
This is what I'm rendering at the moment with high quality
Obviously this is just one frame out of many for the animation
Is this what you had in mind, Archer?

Why all the changes to the 128? I LOVED the old creepers and you replaced them, same goes for record player, standard wood blocks, and many others...
I'm trying to make this pack into something I can call my own without taking too many things from other people. As for the mobs, I'm trying to squeeze a few fps to reduce problems with other folks computers.

The cake is glitchy in the 128 version as of pack v2.7.0
It has holes near the top where the texture doesn't extend far enough.
Interesting, I haven't touched the cake since it was first introduced. Even then, I only stretched it to fit the resolution. XD
I'll fix that and maybe get a decent cake texture in there as well.

Hmmm, did you install the 128 before or after installing the 256. I may just be that when patched, it wasn't a fresh install and caused some sort of a problem.

That looks fantastic, Scuttles, I hope to see that implemented into the texture pack as soon as possible. I especially like how the water looks like it has depth rather than just a standard, 2D image. Although it looks like it may need some smoothing.
I don't like the flowers. They are too orangey.. Maybe create something that resembles a more generic type of flower, like a rose or something. I don't know, but whats in there is not good at all.
Not trying to dis your work, you have done a freakin phenomenal job on this pack. I just think the flowers need to be a bit better. And maybe the grass a bit more vibrant. Everything else looks good. The glass needs some work but I think the GlassMod once compatible should take care of those.
So far so good man, keep up the good work. I'll be sending you bones shortly.

... There is a rose in it ...
I still use 128x128 V2.0 Lol.
I had to add in some custom textures, I'd rather not redownload ;P

I kind of agree with him, its not that they are bad or anything, they just really stick out.
Also I was wondering if you could change the dirt so its not so red but more of a grayish brown so it blends in more with stone when its next to it.
I really really love everything else, I think its of great quality!
I'm guessing the other mods aren't compatible now until they're updated?
Others mods... Not alot out yet.
I'm saying the wild grass, and the others that he listed in his first post that were compatible pre-update. So I guess I just have to wait then. -.-
Yea mods will have to wait till they are patched. =/
The texture pack works and that was my main concern.

Thanks, I'll re-render some smoother results and hopefully get some tests posted today.

Have you considered adding Aageon's cobblestone texture? -pic-
I've been progressing away from this pack being a compilation and trying to create and edit everything for my own work. To answer your question, no I haven't considered it, but it seems to tile funny horizontally. =\

How do you enable depth of field? It's so sexy!
Depth of field will come in due time. ^^
I've had some major setbacks with incompatible graphics cards, but I have next week off so things should progress very quickly.

I have minecraft make a few times new (delete the minecraft.jar file and the others in the minecraft. folder) and than download the mcpatcher-1.1.12_02.exe than the 258x texture pack and than use the mcpatcher with the pack on the new minecraft.jar file. I start the Minecraft test after Patching and than it works. but if i run minecraft normal with the minecraft.jar (the client not the one in minecraft. folder) it starts i login and than comes the mojang logo and after it the game close without an error.
Hmmm, I had another user post the exact same problem before. I couldn't find it in the posts, but I thought he had to manually install for it to work instead of going through the mc patcher method.
If that doesn't work post your computer specs, please.

Hey there, I would like to thank you for your work and also to ask you something.
I think there are some textures that could be changed to give more value to this awesome pack.
Maybe you could change the glowstone texture to something shinier and less dark because it is quite ugly to use it.
And if you could make textures with chunks for the iron, gold, etc, it would be awesome.
And if you could make flowing water closer to still water it would be perfect
Thank you and good work man :smile.gif:
To be perfectly honest with you, I've never been to the nether while working on this pack. XD
I'll try to make the glowstone a bit more... illusive. :wink.gif:
I'm not sure what you mean with the textures. The mineral blocks? Those do need to be changed. :sleep.gif:
I'm working on some better looking water at the moment. I posted an example in a previous post yesterday.

Hope you don't mind a few suggestions.

FINE! The yellow flower will be changed. XD
I haven't played the game without wild grass for a while so I can see where it doesn't fit in with a flat grass world.
As for the dirt, I can make it a bit less red, but darkening it always results in a pain during the night.
So many comments, lol
Alright, hopefully I answered all of your questions and I'll be back on in a few hours. Heading to class. -_-'

I dont know what is wrong / what i must do to run it =/ when i run the mc_Patcher Test it runs but if i start with the minecraft.exe it doesnt run after the mojang logo it Crashs with out an error. But in the folder where the minecraft.exe is the error.log is save =/
Are you using notch's new loader? because i had the same problem then i tried the previous loader and it worked perfectly fine straight after that
ya, patiently waiting for a 1.3 update for textures.. before I play the game at all. It's amazing what you guys have done with this game. Your textures are so epic.. that I do not want to play this game at all without them.
I'd love to see it :biggrin.gif: Diamonds for all. Plus a head that I found after a creeper explosion.
It has holes near the top where the texture doesn't extend far enough.
Wow... Your computer is just full of error isnt it? Anyways, Love the new update, I havent encountered any errors but if I do I'll just replace that texture with the old one. And as for the mobs, Im keeping the old one and the new one :biggrin.gif:
I'm trying to cut down on some fps at the moment so I'm using Misa's mobs because they are quarter the resolution. I haven't checked my fps in the new update yet, I hope it hasn't broken it. =(
I'm working on a higher detailed water caustics. It's just not at the top of my list at the moment, but I would like to see what you've got in mind. =)
Edit:
This is what I'm rendering at the moment with high quality
Obviously this is just one frame out of many for the animation
Is this what you had in mind, Archer?
I'm trying to make this pack into something I can call my own without taking too many things from other people. As for the mobs, I'm trying to squeeze a few fps to reduce problems with other folks computers.
Others mods... Not alot out yet.
I'm saying the wild grass, and the others that he listed in his first post that were compatible pre-update. So I guess I just have to wait then. -.-
That looks fantastic, Scuttles, I hope to see that implemented into the texture pack as soon as possible.
Hope you don't mind a few suggestions.
I kind of agree with him, its not that they are bad or anything, they just really stick out.
Also I was wondering if you could change the dirt so its not so red but more of a grayish brown so it blends in more with stone when its next to it.
I really really love everything else, I think its of great quality!
Yea mods will have to wait till they are patched. =/
The texture pack works and that was my main concern.
Thanks, I'll re-render some smoother results and hopefully get some tests posted today.
I've been progressing away from this pack being a compilation and trying to create and edit everything for my own work. To answer your question, no I haven't considered it, but it seems to tile funny horizontally. =\
Depth of field will come in due time. ^^
I've had some major setbacks with incompatible graphics cards, but I have next week off so things should progress very quickly.
Hmmm, I had another user post the exact same problem before. I couldn't find it in the posts, but I thought he had to manually install for it to work instead of going through the mc patcher method.
If that doesn't work post your computer specs, please.
