How is this relevant though?
I would think the textures in the official 1.9 will be exactly the same as the ones that are in the pre release.
Except, hopefully, the shitty NPCs.
Sounds like adf.ly is doing their f*** stuff again... I can understand that the authors of mods like it for the little extra money they get for using it but this site is a haven for sh** like that. My advice would be to get a good adblocker like AdBlockPlus and try again.
NoScript also helps.
And with AdBlock Plus, you need to install some filters.
I'll be off work in another 6 hours so I'll start working on that as soon as I can. I do have plenty of stuff going to be update and tons of it is actually fan-made.
I will answer my messages and try to get through some comments when I get back.
I feel sorry for you Scuttles theres going to be a lot of updates coming soon I guess.
Damn. =/
I refuse to back down after going so far so I'll do my best to be sure and get these updates out on time. I will have my weekends again when my seasonal job ends in two weeks.
Iron bars, man, they aren't changed. Please change them
No.
Kidding. Anyway, you probably haven't been reading the last 20-40 pages. I'm swamped IRL and haven't had time so it's been a very slow progressive update.
My guess is that the Minecraft team is trying to push these updates to make ready for November when the game officially goes off beta. I've even read about 1.10 being released soon. These guys are sure working fast. Either way, keep up the good work Scuttles and don't get discouraged about the updates. Your texture pack is awesome and you won't hear me complaining about anything.
ummm everytime i try to apply the hd texture patcher, which is the java runtime thingy, i get into minecraft, it won't work and it deletes the runtime parameters i entered in. I am running An hp dv6zqe with 6gb ram. Is there a solution?

I hope they'll stop adding stuff after 1.10 and start optimizing the hell out of the code. So, 512x with water shader and/or GLSL can run smoothly. Even my powerful gaming computer couldn't run 512x with water shader without getting lag spikes and freezes. 256x runs very smooth for me.
Just downloaded this, works great, game looks AMAZING, but I was hoping someone could point me to how to get all that lighting and depth of field and stuff like that shown in the first screenshot working?
I installed the "GLSL shaders mod" and put the terrain files linked below it into the terrain folder and put the shader files into the shaders folder (there wasn't one btw, I had to make one, maybe that's indicative of why it's not working) but yeah basically did nothing, no effects, no shaders, no dof, no extra lighting. Just really want to get anisotropic filtering and anti-aliasing in there mostly because all the textures look grainy as hell when you're more then a few blocks away.

Unfortunately, you're stuck on the bottom...amongst the bones of the stupid.

it says 1.81 at the top lol

Wow, I'm not having any issues like that. It appears to be a 1.8.1 related issue. Are you using the appropriate patcher for 1.8 and not 1.9?
No.

EDIT: Holy Sh*t! The download is 1 minute long for just the 128x!
EDIT: 8x My ram allocated and my memory allocated didn't stop my minecraft from crashing and burning, so I'm going to try the 64x one nao :tongue.gif:
edit: I am running windows 7 home premium 64 bit.
They are all backwards compatible, that and the fact that the patcher hasn't been updated for 1.9, it worked without any changes.

Very well done.
