My god, that's beautiful. I never thought vines can be that awesome on stone bricks. I'll be scared to play minecraft if HIV infested lady bugs are added to the game.
After how long I raged at the vines, I really appreciate this comment. =)
Uploading the LBPR pack right now. Mostly placeholders, but will actually work with 1.8. I will update with time.
I love the texture pack. Think its one of the best. I just always wandered why the pickaxe blade was so small? Pretty sure normal pickaxes are nicely sized. The one in these packs looks like the a toothpick. Just my opinion. But the rest of the pack is amazing.

True enough. I really have no answer for that besides that I just didn't make them thick. XD
This pack is far from complete (I'd like to think it is) and the items.png is one of the major plans I have in the future.
Thanks for the constructive criticism. I really appreciate all the helpful comments.
Thanks again for your continued efforts, scuttlebug.
I was very excited to start tinkering with 1.8, as was the rest of the gang. But I kept thinking as we saw all the huge biomes and cool landscapes: 'This would look amazing with LBPR.' Thanks for getting this out as quickly as you did. It really does add another dimension to the game, and fuels the creative aspect. The stuff we build just looks so much cooler with this texture pack.
Keep up the great work but remember, school comes first. :wink.gif:
Hey i got a problem. The HD water doesn't work in 1.8 pre version 2 non hd patched. When i patch it tho it becomes incompatible with my server. :sad.gif:
As yet, I've been unable to get GLSL bump-mapping to work in conjuction with the partial 512 texture pack or my own 1024 textures. To be honest, I think GLSL needs an overhaul for a number of reasons, but the creator seems to be unwilling to mess with it until after the game is out of beta.
I have to say, well done, the game looks absolutely beautiful with the Photo Realism texture pack. Just a couple of concerns:
The shovel appears to be... being used backwards? I'm not sure how to explain it, it just looks... awkward.
Also, in 1.8, the chest texture isn't working for me. Everything else is, just the chest is looking very... out of place with its default texture. XD I'm using the 128, I think. Either that or the 64. Version 6.5.0.
And to whomever was asking about the water shader: That won't work until it's updated. The patch broke pretty much everything and we just have to be patient until they are updated. ^^ I'm just happy that the texture packs are being updated so quickly, it really shows passion towards the game.

Where did you place with upload? Cause I redownloaded all of them and none of the are any bigger and there are no placeholder that I can see. Still no Hunger bar of any kind..
ive been using the 256 version of this pack for a long time now. and every time theres a major game update followed by this packs compatability update i go through the motions to get things in order.
however, this time its not so smooth. ive got the newest uncompressed version on the pack, the HD patcher is updated and heap size set to 2048. the game starts and plays fine but nearly all textures are flat white with some black detail. i can barely tell what im even looking at.
ive never had this issue with this pack before. what am i not doing?

I can get bumpmapping work on 512x. Check out the my sneak peak video on the OP.
They are used. To grow use bonemeal on a small mushroom.

I am a texture pack artist who has only released two out of three packs and hasn't updated the download in years...but I enjoying using them. Maybe one I will share with the community.
today i saw that there was this new texturepack "LB RPG Realism x512 0.8.2" out...
i was trying to get it run but there is always that annoying "out of memory" warning...
i already gave java more ram to work with (about 8gb already) but it isnt gonna work... than i saw that there is that minecraft.bat file but i dont know where to put it in? does somebody has an idea what to do?
iam greatful for every advise!
Save as "minecraft.bat" and select all files for file type. Put it at desktop where the minecraft launcher is.
Love this texture pack, but there is a missing item in the gui\items.png file. The enderman pearl does not have an image associated with it, not even a placeholder. The item in game only comes up with an outline, and they cannot be picked up.
ok, so it seems that anything associated with the 1.8 update isn't actually updated in the pack, its all default textures, I'm using the 64x pack, so I'm not sure if you just haven't updated them all yet or what is going on
ok, after seeing the fence gates, I realize that its only the things that required new textures...

What about 512x?
