Hello!. I use the pack (it's simply awesome) in 128x version. At first, I had some problems, and once the game crashed. Then I increased the memory of Java, and all seems to be resolved. But...I'm still having a problem: the white box items. Anyone knows how to resolve it?
Thank you very much!
PD: I have a 1.80ghz processor and a nvidia 512 card...
The 512 px version of your texture pack is awesome. *.* The item graphics are not there, but it looks without them awesome, too.
I can play at this resolution normally, but if I want to record it with Fraps. xD The fps goes down to 0 or 1.
Minecraft takes 2 GB RAM, but it's worth it. :biggrin.gif:
if you can run x512 (well) then you should be able to record it with fraps. Just make sure your recording to a seprate hard drive youre playing minecraft on. (and external hard drives won't help)
This is an excellent texture pack. I don't know that I can really come up with any constructive criticism for it. Out of all my different texture packs this one is definitely the best I have seen.
since i downloaded this my minecraft doesn't work it freezes before it loads to the title menu!
If it won't even let you in the game then you should probably just delete the pack from the texturepack folder, it will set it back to default. Then you can try downloading one of the lower resolution packs. If you have enough RAM, you can allocate more of it to Java. I could only run the x64 at first, but then I allocated 3 gigabytes to Java and I can run the x256 with great FPS to boot.

Can someone please help me use the GSL thing? I already have the GSL shader mod, and I put the contents of shader files into the shaders file located in the minecraft.jar and put the 2 terrain things, into the texturepack zip...
And then I load minecraft, and this happens ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
And there isn't any bumps :ohmy.gif:~
Do you try the batch file? Batch file is only way to actually allocate RAM to java. Using java control panel and patcher to allocate RAM doesn't do anything.
yes I did, all it did when I used it was have a pop up screen for not even a second then disappear though
Hey I'm having problems. I installed Java JDK 7 x64 and allocated 2G. Also, I installed that HD patch alternative that was mentioned at the beginning of the thread. I'm having problems with "flashing chunks". It's kind of annoying, but sometimes chunks won't load anymore, or just keeps on flashing and I can't see where I'm going lol. Is there a reason for this?
I wanted to see how much my computer couldnt comprehend the 256bit pack and here what happened

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?! :C
I also have the same problem and have scoured the web for possible solutions with no luck. I have played around with the values for different terrain sets, still no luck.
I can get most other shaders to work except the bump mapping, the one I want the most :sad.gif: I am a sad miner
Thank you very much!

You are running out of memory. See the first post to fix the problem. (allocating more memory on java, etc)

Is the launcher jar in same place as batch file? Put them both at desktop.

Thank you. I will try to allocate even more memory. I'll say if it's work...^^
