Whoa, am I playing Crysis?
512x LB RPG Realism with water shaders. Too bad this mod is not compatible with GLSL yet. Can you imagine 512x with bumpmapping shaders, water shaders, and new 1.8 lighting?

I initially downloaded this as a stress test for my PC (x256) but now I can't bear to turn it back, this pack has me hooked.
Render distance far, graphics fancy, smooth lighting and 156fps+ WOW!
Lol, this pack is quite the stress test. It's ridiculous how intensive a simple Minecraft texture pack can be on the computer. I kick Crysis' ass in sheer RAM usage. XD

I think you uploaded the wrong pictures. It looks like real life. :blink.gif:
I'm REALLY looking forward to this 1.8 update. It's been looking very promising thus far and with the massive biomes, I can really start to exaggerate the differences as you travel to make it more exotic.
I believe Engehenk is trying to push the water shaders as an addon to the GLSL so let's hope that works.
Oh, almost forgot. I'm working on the wildgrass and getting some pretty nice results in the x512 pack. So expect some eye candy along with/before the 1.8 update.
If 1.8 is released this weekend I will formally apologize for probably not getting it out until Sunday area. I have a wedding to attend and some military buddies are getting an airsoft war going.
I finally decided to get a deviantART :biggrin.gif:
For now, I'm just testing renders from Blender - But, I will use it later on... Btw, I just tested the GUI Update... It's... :ohmy.gif:
(My deviantART: P4Z4Z)
And to you, Delicious, I'll help you out.... Just hang on
You could launch directly from the bin folder with this .bat
@echo off
cd %AppData%\.minecraft
start javaw -Xms7168m -Xmx7168m -Djava.library.path=".\bin\natives" -classpath "bin\minecraft.jar;bin\jinput.jar;bin\lwjgl.jar;bin\lwjgl_util.jar" net.minecraft.client.Minecraft DeliciousCinnamon
Unfortunately, This does not allow connecting to premium servers - I mainly use this JUST for testing.
Also, Do you have 64-Bit Java installed?

I have 64-bit Java installed, yes. And I'd love to run this game from a shortcut on my desktop, nothing complicated.
2. I can't even connect to Minecraft.net to download the game anyways... (Since I just deleted everything)

2.5GB is enough to run 512x. You can get away with 1.5GB. Make sure bat file is at same location as the launcher jar.
3. Run the bat
4. ????
5. Profit!
EDIT: You don't have to put the bat file and launcher jar in the bin folder. Put them at desktop.

This is the strangest thing. I'm online, but all my programs (Skype, MSN, Minecraft) can't connect. What the hell happened and what the hell is going on...

Does this happen when you run the bat file? It sounds like you have other problems not related to this. Maybe your firewall is blocking them?
Ran several virus scans, malware scans, nothing. All my router's lights that should be on are on, and how would I be posting here if I wasn't online? This just doesn't make sense. Windows firewall is off too.

Usually my internet starts to die out and not display pages if you overhit the bandwith limit or you are close to a paybill. (My limit = unlimited, So...)

Back!?!?! Umm... How ARE you alive. =S
So... How have you been? Besides disappearing for extended periods of time.
Yea... Waste of money. =/
Should have known he wouldn't go down so easily, lol

Does anyone with around the same computer specs as I do (six-core, 8GB of RAM, 3.2GHz) able to run this via the normal Minecraft.exe?
I'd love to get this texture pack working along with the good water effect, but I just can't...
I need more details of your problem.
You should use the .jar, I seem to get better performance from that..
Also use the .bat posted in the first post, and allocate more ram.
I have 8GB of RAM. How much should I allocate? And do I allocate it in the java via the control panel? Or what?
I've had so many people tell me different things... If you're telling me to use the .jar, why would I use the .bat?
You know what. Can someone just tell me what to do from scratch? I'll delete all my Minecraft stuff, and someone can tell me what to do here.
-Windows 7 64-Bit
-3.2GHz 6 Core Processor
-8GB RAM
1. Download minecraft.jar
2. Download and Run MCPatcher, allocate how much RAM? 7GB worth? So, 7168 MB?
Then what.

1. Download linux jar, the launcher jar
2. Make a batch file using this following code.

I have no idea why this is happening all of a sudden. But I can't do anything really. How can I not connect, when I'm online right now? -.-
Wired or Wireless?
Try to reset your router..

That's my .bat file. The game isn't allocating more than 1400MB of ram at a time though, so it's still slightly laggy at parts.
I want to allocate a minimum of 5GB of RAM, and 7GB max.
