The mobs are done by Misa with her permission. I really like her work so I shall keep it as long as she does.
Alright what inventory GUI looks better. The differences are very subtle, but I really need an outside opinion so I can finish up the rest of the GUI. Ignore the black strip on the first one. I think Imgur corrupted it. =/

Well You asked me about your GUI on tips: Well it was hard to explain: Here is my interpretation of the GUI for your pack (Based of your original here and textures out of your terrain):
Just for fun :smile.gif:

Wow! That's really well done. ^^
I do like the direction you've taken the GUI. It has a nice feel of RPG into it which I really was struggling to obtain. Would you mind sending the .psd? I may use that theme for the pack if it's alright with you. =)
It's been posted in this forum multiple times, I even think it is in one of the last 5 pages. Using the guide on the front page won't help, and neither will MCPatcher. You have to use a batch file.
It is under Linux/Other
You make the batch file:
java -Xmx4096M -Xms4096M -cp Minecraft.jar net.minecraft.LauncherFrame
Save the executable jar file under the Linux/Other
Make sure you save these two files into the same folder.
Run the batch file.
is it not supposed to launch minecraft.jar when I run the batch file?
Oh I see, even though I have 64-bit Java, it won't do the increase in memory, FML:
C:\Users\Mune\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin>java -Xmx4096M -Xms4096M -cp Minecr

That hasn't been my experience (mipmapping vs GLSL bumpmapping). Bump and/or specular maps destroy my framerate (250 -> 50ish). Mipmapping doesn't seem to have any effect either way.
Seems to spit no error or something (goes too fast to see or screenshot, even without echo off), but the minecraft max memory is not increased, sadly.
I think I see the problem, just keep in mind that there are 2 minecraft.jar files at this point. One is the launcher for the game, and the other is the core jar file that the game uses (located in the .minecraft/bin folder). as long as the .bat file is in the same place as the minecraft.jar launcher, it should run.

Maybe this has something to do with different brands of video cards? For me, even changing the mipmapping settings takes forever to actually change (not sure if it is supposed to do this).
SCUTTLES: about the GUI, if it isn't too late, what about modifying aageon's GUI (which I like the style of, nice job aageon) and giving it a more old and worn feel like the 2 images you posted (liked the second one better btw ^^). Maybe have the metal parts rusted in some areas, the wood having a weathered appearance?

I like the idea of the GUI, But just to correct you.... 'Withered' Look?
I have a completely vanilla minecraft roaming folder, as seen here:
I'm using Windows obviously, so my launcher is actually an EXE. So does this mean I can't run anything 256x or higher? Because even with 128x, and optifine, and optitick, its like optitick and optifine aren't even installed, gets normal lag. I'd hate to see what it'd be like without optifine/tick.

Note: Turning off Aero won't help.
Windows users just have the option of using the .exe launcher, that doesn't mean they can't use the .jar launcher. On minecraft.net on the page where you download minecraft, there's a section for Linux/other users. Download the file here, it will be a minecraft.jar file but it is NOT the same file as the one in your appdata folder. Have this newly downloaded file in a different location with the .bat file you made also with it.

Just copy/paste this into your signature:
I really don't know how to get to it anymore. XD

Lol, I just commented on your thread. XD
Thanks. I think I'm going to dedicate next week to getting the RPG pack out of the "beta" stages. It's coming along quite nicely.

the mobs are Misa's?I didn't know that. Thanks for the banner help :smile.gif:
I prefer 2nd one.
Quite welcome.
Yea, I'm leaning towards that as well.

That's possible haha, I wish there was a way to make the mipmapping run better
Is the batch file in the same place as the linux minecraft.jar?

Withered? I wouldn't put it that way XD Not sure if wood or metal could become withered, either <.<

It works now, yay, thanks~
