I'm going to post an update for the RPG pack tonight. I'll continue to work on that mostly until 1.8 comes around.
Some aspects of the RPG realism pack may stay the same as the LB realism one such as the wheat textures. I'll probably change the hue slightly to better fit the pack.
And a note on these files....you do need the GLSL mod, and getting this to work is MORE difficult then just getting a texturepack to work, be warned. Do some research before posting a IT DUN WORK, U BROKE TEH MINECRATF!!? :laugh.gif:
Scuttles must be scared of the spam this will get from people that aren't going to get it to work..take a look at the 512 stuff here =P.
(also, remember people, the 512 is a TEST version. TEST, means it is NOT finished, by far. And the download only has a terrain.png, if you want the water/lava/tools and that stuff you will just have to paste it into a extra lbphotorealism.zip and replace the terrain.png inside it)
Remember everyone, if you have at least 8gigs of ram try to allocate 4gigs to java(if using the 512x pack) your fps should be fine then. As minecraft is a memory hog!
I did everything that people have been suggesting and still I get a black screen and Out of Memory error. What am I doing wrong with this? Do I have to wait til it's officially released?

Oh yes, to the creator of this mod....can you PLEASE for the love of GOD make 256bit textures for the equipment for the recently released Aether Mod? Can't stand going back to bitmap.

I can get it to work, but it lags insanely bad, like 8 fps. I have allocated 4 gb of ram to the client as well, and I also have 64-bit java. Funny thing is how well the x256 textures run, I easily average 100 fps with that pack. 512 eats my computer alive though lol These are my specs:
Phenom II X4 Quad-Core CPU 3.40 GHz
128GB Solid State Drive
8GB DDR3 1600 RAM
2 Radeon HD 6870s in CrossFire

Agree 100%, the 256x mod works perfectly. But would like to at least be able to see the 512 version. When I tried to run 256x a long time ago, I was getting a lot of lag. Now lag's gone and I don't understand why I'm failing to get the 512 one to work by following the instructions.

How do you get the wildgrass textures to work? Maybe someone already asked but there are 315 pages and I dont have time to go through them all. If anyone could help thank you! Also
Awesome pack Scuttles, one problem I have though is that liquids are now invisible to me (Using 256x256, 512x512 doesn't seem to work for me). Any advice on how to fix it?
Again, brilliant pack. Cheers.
I can confirm this, all water is invisible to me, aside from that this pack is beyond beautiful. Anyone have any advice as to fixing this issue?

Just put the Wild Grass mod into the minecraft.jar file. It works for me when I did that. Also, too many mods might be why it's not working.

Hello. I'v got so big problem. I know you will say "wooden pc" but no-it's not wooden pc.
Month ago i used x256 textures with no fps drop (i'v got about 60 fps)
Then i went on holiday. When i returned there was a patch 1.7.3
And since that mine minecraft lags so much with this texture pack. I had 2 fps
I play Witcher 2 on maximum graphic quality and i have no lag at all.
What could be reason of such a thing?

p.s. I'm curious why you call x512 "RPG"?

I think RPG stands for Role play or something :biggrin.gif:
If you mean the RPG pack, I've the same problem, but I think there is no water texture yet. Its Beta :biggrin.gif:
No but my friend uses the 64x64 and he was water... i dont
Have you installed the HD texture support with optime correctly?
I have never run out of memory on the 512x :sad.gif:

Can't get x512 to work, but that's cool, x256 is amazing enough already. Keep up the good work man.
