I Gimmped the terrain png, adding in Aza's cobblestone just because I think it looks so damn smexeh with your wood doors, sure it doesn't quite gel with the smooth stone texture although there is a white smooth stone that I may add in at some point. Great job on making such a beautiful texture pack.

I really don't mind if you change anything, really. The only thing that bugs be is when people post it as their own.

Ive wanted that map for a while but ive just been using the simple map that comes with the app for BL+BG
Im going to try your pack again later but in multiplayer i do not get the same wild grass spawning issue!
Really? that's fairly strange for it to not happen in multiplayer. =\
Atleast you got it to a point where you are happy
Oh and yes the minimap mod seems to work with better light and better grass. I'm a little hesitant on the wild grass compatibility, though. I might try that later sometime.
Sorry, I just like showing people proof. :sleep.gif:
I will wait and see if you have luck with wild grass as well if possible can you post the links to the mods i cant find them anymore map and mod loader, Take it your using 64bit java as well.
Yea I have 64bit Java installed, but I've been running off of 32bit java recently because the bump mapping isn't working properly on the 64bit but runs great on the 32 bit.
Speaking of which, I think those screens were taken with 32-bit. XD
When I install the 128x128 textures and mrmmods the game works fine, but after adding the wildgrass files to the minecraft .jar I'm getting greyscale grass blocks on the side of hills instead of the usual green colour (looks like a stone block with grass on top basically, with the grass texture.)
I have installed everything in the order in the OP, but cannot understand why this is happening.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Great textures btw. :smile.gif: Would like to move up to the 256 textures but unfortunately the game keeps crashing after a few minutes of play. :sad.gif:
Did you install wildgrass with the patcher or manual install?
I've been working on the bumpmapping mod which I finally have gotten a hang of. I can't quite figure out how to get the 256x256 pack working with this. For now, practice is going on the low-res pack.
You might ask Daxnitro for help, you'll need the correct values to enter into the "vec3 interval" line in base.fsh. I'm not sure how he arrived with the value for the lines that he has commented out.

It was with the manual install. Just dragged and dropped the files (minus the terrain.png) to the jar. Mod looks fine without this add on but just looks a bit strange with it on.
This may be a dumb question, but did you download the appropriate wildgrass meaning the one compatible with better light or the one compatible with both?
Another potential candidate is another incompatible mod. You should have a fresh install of minecraft for it to work.

I figured out how to get the values the first time apparently. My computer just can't handle the bump mapping at the 256x256 resolutions. XD
I've put bump mapping aside (possibly in the hands of elias) for now. I really want to finish this pack before starting things that I'll have to change later.
Ahh well previously when trying the zan map mod i couldnt get it to run on 64bit java Thanks anyway scuttles for the links. Please god notch give us the Damn API allready.
No kidding... An API would be a god sent gift.
Didn't realize that I was running on the 32bit Java at the moment when I was testing. Turns out my 64bit hates Zan's minimap mod as well... =(
This may be a dumb question, but did you download the appropriate wildgrass meaning the one compatible with better light or the one compatible with both?
Ah! This could be the problem. I downloaded the original minecraft wildgrass file.
So do I just need the one for Better Lighting AND Better Grass or just the Better Lighting WITHOUT Better Grass? I don't think I have Better Grass unless it's a part of the LB Mod
Edit: Sorry, yes. I do use the Better Grass mod. I forgot it was part of the MrMMods mod. So I need the file with better grass AND better lighting.
The side textures have a purple pixel line at one end, the top and bottom textures of the furnace have 1 line missing and 3 small vertical purple lines.
should be easy to fix ^^
Edit: Oh, I just noticed, all the textures RIGHT of the diamond block textures are 1 line of pixels off. So the diamond block has 1 line of chest-pixels, the chest has 1 line of workbench-pixels, and the furnace 1 line of workbench-pixels
in my opinion i prefere the clear glass with no effect on them and the 4 sided glass windows but thats an intriguing idea! i think as long as they wernt to dark so it looks like prison bars across the window you might be on to a winner!
The house im building is called a cube house thought it went well with minecraft. I have 4 ref images of outside and 2 inside, gunna have to mess about with the garage though but its a well odd house working out how it all goes together and at what height was a pain in the ****.
-snip-
That's a really beautiful house I'll get onto ideas for the glass. With that 2-sided pane, it will be extremely easy to make vertical windows.
I'm changing a few more textures around such as the doors and wood. I used the wood texture from nickhimself's pack, but he didn't seamless the texture before he quit. I finished that for him. ^^
Edit:
This is probably going to be the next glass. It's modern, yet doesn't give that "prison" feel.

To my knowledge, I'm still running on 64-bit and I have this 256x pack, BL/BG, Zan's MM, and mipmapping. I think I technically have wildgrass in there too, but I've been playing exclusively online, so it really doesn't show even if it is loaded. Zan's has been weird, though, so maybe it is 64-bit not liking it. Meh, I prefer blaming the moron who took over that mod... :/
Still doesn't work. What could I possibly be doing wrong? This does not make sense.
Argh!!!!
Just to confirm and cover every base possible, these are the settings I have in the Patcher.
Then I drag and drop the texture files manually into the Minecraft.jar using 7zip (delete the META INF of course).
-snip-
It's such a shame because your texture makes the game so different! Completely changes the atmosphere.
Everything seems right. :sleep.gif:
Do you have a different location for your .minecraft folder? The patcher needs to be directed to your .jar if it's in another location.
That has to be frustrating that nothing works for your with this pack. =(

Hey guys, I'm having a bit of difficulty with Wild Grass Mod.
I've read the most recent posts & I've hung around the Wild Grass thread but haven't gotten anything to go on. Here is what I've tried.
I tried loading by hand. (no patcher or mod loader.) That didn't work.
Then I tried loading WITH the patcher. (still no mod loader.) That didn't work either.
Both times I tried running MC, the login would appear, I would login, and then it would just go away. Nothing.
I know what I'm missing must be something small, but I can't figure it out!
I could sure use a hand. Thanks in advance.
What mods are you running?
It's quite possible that you've overwrote a class file when installing the wildgrass that another mod may use. That would cause it to not start up at all.

Lol, blaming someone else is always a great way to feel better about something not going right. Even if he doesn't know what he's doing half the time. =\
I think you're right about the wild grass, though. I believe that it loads regardless, but isn't visible on the multiplayer without the server running with it on.

Im not running any actual game mods. I have GERODUKO's text pack but MCPatcher is set to use LB Photo Realism. I have MC Map Deleter/Pine Tree Generator and have used it to create trees but I guess I don't consider that a "mod" although I know it is. I also use TreasureChest to back up my saves, but I don't reckon that would delete a .class file.
Since all this mess I've deleted everything from my minecraft folder and restored my original .jar file. My game runs fine with the text pack. I'm sitting ready with a clean sheet, I suppose.

A lot of mods that I'm not quite familiar with. =/
I could possibly be one of those, but, again, I'm not familiar with them.
Maybe if you installed the hd patcher, texture pack and wild grass first. Then, install those mods and see if it gives the same results.

I'm getting black wool from white sheep. And I just got a gray wool from a white sheep.
Noticed this last night and fixed it in the next update. Whenever that comes. =D

I'm using 256x256 textures and they're so awesome. Only thing is that I can't manage to make OptiMine and MCRegion work with this texture pack? Can you confirm is it because of this texture pack or something else?
I would guess that you need to install the mods in a specific order. For example, I know OptiMine needs to be installed before BL & BG.
I would be helpful if I knew all of the mods you were running. If you are just running those two, try installing them in a different order with a clean installation of Minecraft.
I was having a few performance issues and went back to a 128 pack for a bit but came back to try this seeing the 2/7 update. It seems to run a lot better now and things looks great! The water looks much better, the tools have better textures and my clock isn't default anymore. Good job!

Wow off by once pixel. Nice catch. ;D
Holy **** that's awesome. @[email protected]
Any recommendations on the glass? It's a bit cluttered in my own opinion. I was thinking of having just two sides
|[][][][]|
|[][][][]| Key:
|[][][][]| |=Pane []=Empty space/glass
That's a really beautiful house I'll get onto ideas for the glass. With that 2-sided pane, it will be extremely easy to make vertical windows.
