Hello, I am new to the forums. I was admiring this pack, and i downloaded this pack (x256) and the HD texture pack patcher .jar file for Mac OSX. I patched my minecraft with the patcher, then dragged the .zip file of this TP into my texture packs folder. I tried it out, and got a lot of blank, non- textured blocks. all were just different colors, and no texture whatsoever. The animals were enhanced, and same with my player. The 16x pack worked. My mac has a crappy internal graphics card, that may be the problem. I really need help and want to download this TP, please help!
Great texture pack, but I'm getting a strange error. Whenever I load the game with Modloader and this texture pack, All of the side grass turns into stone texture. I'm not sure what's causing it, so I was wondering if you knew.

*sigh* Just letting you know, Scuttles, I'm on my way back home - a few days left.
Been... Working on things, in the meantime....
(Nothing to do with your pack because it sucks /lie)
I have a quick question regarding this. Is 1GB of Graphics card RAM and 6 GB of Memory enough to run MineCraft at the highest settings along with this texture pack and WildGrass?

It may be that your computer is unable to run the texture pack. There is a link at the top of the post that allows reallocation of memory to Java which may help things.

I've been gone the past few days as well. Family reunions are just outstanding. XD
The x512 resolution pack is going well. I'm quite pleased with the results thus far. I'm only able to test it by downscaling to x256 every time, lol

Should be plenty. Be sure to install 64bit Java so you can use all of that RAM. =)
Could we get better biomes? Some areas are so freakin' dark that I can't see anything.
-pic-
Hmmm... I really don't see how it's dark. It's a tundra biome which has that blue/green tint to it. I'm quite busy on other things at the moment, but I'll keep a biome change in mind. ^^
I have 256X256 and it workd perfectly on my computer (Somehow...)
Only problem is that it takes a few seconds to load some screens, (before I get to playing the game) and when it does that it displays a misleading black screen. It will still take me to the game, it is just confusing and led me to believe i had doen something wrong, luckily I waited a few seconds and it worked.
Sadly, for some reason, all the mobs now scare the S**t out of me, but i can live with it.
I did have a problem that occured when I destroyed glowstone. The glowstone still apeared to be there but made the breaking animation and did everything except dissapear. (I used a diamond pickaxe)
for you
(Sorry, there aren't any 256 by 256 diamonds on the forums)
Sadly, this happened moments later... I should probably know what it means, but I don't.
(I have the Mc patcher thing)
(Same thing happened when I started it up again, but i only got to play 437 seconds instesd of the 609 seconds I got the first time)

Thank you. I've tried real hard to get it to where it is today and it's turned out quite well. I appreciate the support. =)
The long loads are typical. After all, it's huge compared to the default textures.
I'm not sure as to the reason why the glowstone would do that. Maybe server lag? I haven't had any comments regarding that issue.
Anyway, on to the crashes. I highly suggest installing 64bit Java for your computer. That should prevent just about all of the crashes. ^^
Alright, here's what I've been working on in the little freetime I had this weekend. It's x512 native resolution, but I have to downscale to x256 so I can actually run it. XD
Keep going or scrap and stay with LBPR?
Grass/Sidegrass
Wood planks. I was a fan of that type so I decided to go with it. Cobblestone on the left is REALLY rough.
Stone/Dirt textures. I'm a huge fan of this stone texture.
Sand has a bit of a tiling issue. Easy to fix, though.
i cant seem to see the images for the pickaxe and a few other items like the minecart while they are in my inventory or in my immidiate inventory. any suggestions?

That's known as the white box issue. It's a consequence of running out of memory. There are a few around it, but no definite solutions to it. I'd first try the link at the top of the post and see if allocating more memory to it will fix the issue. Also, if you can, install 64bit Java. You'll need a 64bit computer for that.
Easiest way is to simply try a lower resolution if the above don't work. The white box issue started with the 1.6 update I'm not sure why. =S
The 512x photos are causing me to drool. You nailed the stone texture. Am I too early to the party? Where is the link to download this version of your texture pack? I feel like I'm on google+ waiting for everyone else to catch on. :smile.gif:
Also, what font do you use in your LB Photo Realism signature?
Dude! Nice! when can you have the 512x pack up for download? i have a good computer i run your 256x pack at over 150 fps so i wonder how well ill do at 512x!

You've been doing quite a lot with your texture pack, Skuttles, did you imagine you would get as far as you have come to now? I can't imagine you've devoted to this project, patiently listening to all the feedback you've received. This is without a doubt the most popular 256x256 texture pack out there (soon to be 512x512?!). And I'm sure you've been getting quite an income from those Adf.ly links. But once Minecraft blows over, what do you plan on doing?

Wow, they are amazing. I can't wait to see them at 512x. When new 1.8 lighting and 512x photo realism, it will be like Crysis in minecraft.

Sand= didn't tile a swell as I thought it would.
Keep up the good work though
Thanks. ^^
I'm already working on getting the sand to tile properly. I'll try to get more textures in tonight and see how it goes.
Also, what font do you use in your LB Photo Realism signature?
Wow... just Wow...
i will in 256x256 i run minecraft in 150 fps!
no joke i do!
Wow, they are amazing. I can't wait to see them at 512x. When new 1.8 lighting and 512x photo realism, it will be like Crysis in minecraft.
