That's odd. I used MCPatcher to patch my jar along with GLSL. I used fresh jar before patching it if this matters.
But do you put GLSL in before patching HD textures or after?
Also it looks nowhere as nice as in the video, the bumpmapping is barely noticeable...
I even tried using the vec Scuttles posted for 256x256, no difference...
I have installed this texture pack, and have updated and allocated 3gigs of ram to java, but im still getting 2-3fps while running this. Any Solutions?
System Specs:
Windows vista 64bit ultimate
Amd 3.2g dual core processor
Ati Radeon HD5750 gfx card
4gigs OCZ overclocked ram
edit: Trying to run a 128x or 256x texture pack, the 32 and 64 run just fine.
the two bumpmapping PNGs go into the LB textures folder along with the normal terrain.png
Uhm... OK, maybe... I just put them in Minecraft.jar, not sure if putting them directly in the texture pack folder works.
What does this post have to do with anything though? :s

I thought that if you use a custom HD texture pack that you need to place the terrain_s and terrain_nh into the actual texture pack folder. That is how I got it to work. Just trying to help. You can ignore my post.
The holding a torch setting off the speculars is something daxnitro added to the GLSL mod, due the lighting in minecraft itself beeing rather poor, one would have a hard time spotting specular effects. Holding a jack o lantern does the same, just emits a white light, rather then the yellow ish the torch provides.
And the white glow on the lava is a specular issue i'm aware off, will be gone when i get around fixing it =).
And the slight issue with the borderlike edge in the middle of the door...can't really fix that easily. I will polish the door up, since it looks like stone this way, but since the door uses 2 sepperate textures, there will be a edge in the middle that has to be *top level*. (The parallax only adds depth *inside* the block, but every edge of a block will always be at the original height, resulting in that edge you see halfway the door)
Thanks for the explanation. You make it sound simple. :smile.gif:
Hi m8 just downloaded the 256 pack and it is awesome, im using TooManyItems mod
and the following items are showing as Unamed 31,32,34,36,43. not sute if its your
pack or toomanyitems. apart from that loving this pack.
Thx for such a great pack :smile.gif:
I'm not sure. I'll look into it. The mod may have added additional items from other mods that are just there until you install the other mod.

Installing 64bit Java should fix all of your issues. =)
I don't think that was a compliment... :/
Console Textures look like ****.
I completely disagree with him.
I say you claim Photo Realism and you achieve it to the second best ability in MC. :tongue.gif: (Second cuz no 512 >:tongue.gif:, but I understand your reasoning lol)

I had actually installed the 64bit version of java before i started this. Sorry i forgot to mention that in the specs. Anyways still the same problem. but i will double check the versions
I currently have 1.7.3 x256 and was wondering what the grass is in the first pick; my grass does not look like that -could it be the Grass mod...thing?
Yes... I have...
There's another pack I wanted to use along with this one, and it doesn't show as well. Normal packs show up.
I've ran the patcher as admin, but that doesn't seem to help in any way.
I've used 3-5 different texture packs now, and nothing compares to your 256x pack. It LITERALLY transports me to another world. No other packs can compare to the epicness!!! Keep up the amazing work, and thank you for updating for 1.7.3 so quickly!!!

Very noticeable in the video though.

Have you place the texture pack into the folder?

If your rain isn't upside down in the texture pack folder then it's still upside down in game I believe.

Rechecked everything and re downloaded the 64bit version, but still having the same problem with the fps being at 2-3 on the 128/256 packs.

From limited information, it seems you have not patched first with the hd patcher.
the only GLSL i can find is for macs and for 1.5.
Yes... I have...
