By the way, don't use this texture pack unless your computer can handle 64x64 or up. It looks like total **** without it.

Help me guys... Still don't understand how am I suppose to know, when that beautifull texture pack will be updated. I just need that clocks to be fixed. Otherwise I need to download x256 every day and apply it to check the clocks? :smile.gif:
p.s. I know nothing about minecraft mods installation and especially "bumpmap mod" (dont know real name) I would appreciate for the direct link on "how to install bumpmapping mod" or smtn like that! Thx in advance.
scuttles! my 128 pix texture is now going to be 256 cause of an mistake i think. but it may be 128. just want ot inform you, thx! hope the bumpmapping will be coming soon!
Lol, the higher resolution the better. =D
I sure hope the bumpmapping comes soon as well. It looks so damn beautiful.
Been using LB Photo for a good while now and man do i LOVE it. One of the greatest texture packs available and Scuttles, you are one of the most helpful texture pack creators around! Which is a good thing for me since I do have a small problem:
My lava and my water are default. I've run the HD patcher - obviously since everything else works fine. It's been this way since the first 1.7 update came through. Any help or directions?
thanks as usual,
d
Hmmm... Have you tried patching over a fresh install of Minecraft? It may be a conflicting mod or it didn't patch correctly the first time.
Hey scuttles. I have a suggestion for your awesome pack! When I'm cave exploring I sometimes find it hard to see ores when its slightly dark. I've missed coal and iron a couple of times. I even missed diamond once. Maybe you should try making the different deposits more brightly colored and noticeable. It isn't really that big of a problem though, just I suggest. I love the pack either way. :smile.gif:
Are you not allowed to have any mods installed with this installed too? It can have this and mods working at the same time. :|
The only mods you're not allowed to have are the ones that conflict with the HD patcher. By all means, everything is compatible with a texture pack. =)

I have a change log below the downloads with a date of when I released each update and what I fixed in each update as well. =)

Turn up your brightness. Your computer is too dark especially you missed the diamond ore because of "slightly dark".
Missing the diamond was probably my fault. However I have never had trouble seeing ore deposits on the default texture.
EDIT: Oh also I saw where you said you changed the glowstone. I just want to say that I liked the old texture slightly better. Thats not to say I don't like it now. I just really liked the crystalline look of it. :smile.gif:
This texture pack used to work fine for me in 1.6 and 1.7.2 but in 1.7.3 all I get is a black screen, it works fine without the texturepack it only happens with the pack.
can you please do a "silverfish" texxture look in the new minecraft.jar file and go to "mobs" its next to or bellow
"sheep_fur" ok plz do one i dont think its used but do one plzz i would apreciate that if you did and still u should be a god :biggrin.gif:
the glowstone is like golden grass plz change it to an ore ore something i dont like it im talking about the 1.7.2 version plz change the texture from golden grass to some sort of ore or something other than that plz thanks
Hmmm... Have you tried patching over a fresh install of Minecraft? It may be a conflicting mod or it didn't patch correctly the first time.
I have tried re-patching. That didn't work. Also, this is a problem before I installed and ran mods. (I use only Too Many Items, and Zombe's Fly & Info Mods) But I think I should tell you the whole deal in case it's important.
Back during 1.6 I was trying to install Zombes pak for the first time. I screwed it up though and as I tried to fix it I accidentally deleted my minecraft.jar file. Unable to retrieve it, I figured that launching Minecraft again would give me a fresh downloaded .jar. This didn't work. The game wouldn't download a .jar. So I started fishing around in the bin folder and discovered all the older version .jar files that are stored there and I found the closest version to the one I lost and re-named it 'minecraft.jar'. The game worked fine again, albeit an older version. I reloaded your texture pak and figured out the correct way to run the mods and the game launched fine. This is when I first noticed the defaulted water and lava.
My thinking was, that I was playing an older version .jar and the text/mods were updated past my game. I assumed that when 1.7 was released, my game would update - which it did - and the text/mods would update their stuff - which they did - and I would be back to normal. Well it wasn't. The water and lava remain defaulted but everything else is x256 and lovely.
cool story, huh? =)
Any help is appreciated. It isn't a HUGE pain, but my world would obviously be enhanced with proper water/lava.
How do I Place Texture pack into "texture pack" folder?
the texture pack is a zip file, do I drag everything from the zip to my texture pack folder?
Spanese, I figure while I'm hanging out waiting for some help myself, I can pitch in and answer this one for you.
Yes, you drag the .zip file into your texture pack folder. First, however you should've installed, ran, and patched using the MCPatcher/HD fix. If you haven't you'll get the black screen. But having done that all you do after moving your .zip into the texture pack folder is launch minecraft, open Texture Packs and Mods, choose the pack (whenever I choose LBPhoto, btw, it seems like nothing happens. It's just the computer working out the details, I know, but it throws me off everytime. If this happens to you, just give it a couple of seconds and you'll see everything change to the right texture.), and play!
hope i helped. if not, well....that's what you get for listening to someone other than Scuttles on this thread. :laugh.gif:
d
Edit: or instead of dragging, you can "copy .zip" and paste into your texture folder.

I'll see what I can do. :wink.gif:
The only mods you're not allowed to have are the ones that conflict with the HD patcher. By all means, everything is compatible with a texture pack. =)
You have to use the HD patcher for water on the x32 and x16 for now. I'll get around to fixing that later.
I have a change log below the downloads with a date of when I released each update and what I fixed in each update as well. =)
I'll have to literally redo EVERYTHING if I create a x512 pack. Maybe a side project for later. I created all of my textures in x256. =(
