The changelog (Chang log, my bad. I really should credit Chang for making it. /insidejoke aimed a Pazaz) is getting pretty big so I'm considering adding it as a notepad document inside the .zip of the pack. Yay or nay?
I don't have 32 bit java downloaded, if I did whear would I have it so I can delete it? I allocated memory, have 62 bit java and all that and I still get the memory error.
Usually in the control panel is the add/remove programs that should have your Java listed when you click that.
Java 7 [Most people are running Java 6] is around on the internet and it will help with Minecraft.
If Minecraft actually supported my second GPU, i would be able to run 512x packs easy, and yeah it would be nice having tools / weapons which don't look like saws.
I'll have to try out that Java 7 beta. I've heard good things from multiple people now.
No kidding. If the final release of Minecraft actually supports HD packs then I may consider a higher resolution pack. I made all of these textures in x256 so I'll have to start from scratch.
I know that the surveys are a temporary problem for Adf.ly, and i saw the section in the post about it, but a temporary link to the actual mediafire page would be great, because every single link I've tried has redirected me to a survey. Just a suggestion.

You can just put the text (or even an HTML) document on dropbox like Zombe does for his modpack.
The bandwidth limitations don't matter so much since it's only a tiny text file.

Now, I guess I have to be the bad guy and will make a normal link available that doesn't use ad.fly so they aren't forced to give personal information away. So please do something about the links.
I know of this issue and it comes and goes randomly. I have stated (Big bold red letters if I recall correctly) to no fill out anything for a survey and just retry to download it later.

My computer is ****ed up, my Windows installation is almost entirely corrupted.
I think my hard drive is failing, even though WD's extended test came up as passing.
I need to save up $15 for a USB drive so I can reinstall :tongue.gif:

$15 for USB drive, and like $155 for new hard drives.
Thinking of getting (1TB) WD Caviar Black for my Windows Installation and games, and then a Samsung F3 dedicated to fraps recording and movies.
What sucks about this is I'm completely broke, should have the $15 sometime this week though.
Windows is so corrupted that it claims I have no internet connection, and whenever I click the Solve PC Issues flag in the taskbar it opens up my System32 folder.

It's a shame my PC can't run the 128x and the 256x with render distance far :sad.gif: I get a massive lag...

Higher resolutions do take a huge amount of memory. I personally enjoy the x64 when I play online and the x256 for single player. ^^

But I have found two small bugs. The fire on torch isn't good and I miss texture on the webs.

I don't get trouble with ads. I advise that you should get Google Chrome or FireFox with the AdBlock extension. If it doesn't block it, you can also try manually blocking the ad with it.
I hate Adfly too, but I understand modders etc. want to get a little money for the work.

That doesn't really sound like a dying drive, but then again, weird things happen. Seems like windows wouldn't even boot if it was. You should check SMART values with speedfan or something. You could do a repair install of windows if you have the install disc also.

I would first try following the link at the top of the first post. The white box issue is due to a crash in Minecraft likely from being out of memory. It seems like the game corrupts the textures so you'll have to download it again after allocating more memory.
Seems like the white box issue. I always suggest to try out the link at the top of the first posts to allocate more memory to Java. Also if you can, install 64bit Java as it will fix crashing.

yeah about that...i put in exactly what he put there but it didn't change the numbers just stayed a white box and chrashed the game again :\
