Seems like you have the white box issue. Try following the link at the top of the first post on this thread. It should allow you to allocate more memory to Java and hopefully fix the issue.
Scuttles, Wish me luck, I'm going to try and install Windows 7 on my other computer. *If it fails, I can just re-download Ubuntu, and install it again*
----EDIT----
Holy... It did what it did before, didn't install my network/video drivers... So I asked a friend about it, he directed me to gateway support, I installed the drivers, and it works.. :biggrin.gif:
Just for fun, I've made a Chinese version of your texture pack. Nothing is changed except when breaking a block, it counts to ten in Mandarin (with both written form and pronunciation); great for learning! Best used a few blocks underwater.
Skuttles, you've made some huge advancements in your pack since the beginning. I'm sure you must be very proud. When are you planning to make the bubbles bubblier, though? When you go into the water and the bubbles show up, they look a bit plain and disproportional. :smile.gif:
P.S. You like my newest avatar?
Haha, your avatar is quite comical. XD
Learning Chinese while playing??!?!? I will not have such blasphemy in this thread.
I'll get on to the bubbles this week for sure. I'm working on refining the items.png quite heavily and getting my own textures in there finally. Icons and interface will surely be afterwards. ^^
So I decided to give the Yogscast compilation a try and get it working with the 256 version of this pack. I managed to get it all working fine except the item icons for the items added in the Millenaire mod don't show. It's not a huge deal for me as it's just the item icons (their descriptions show when you cursor over them) but I was wondering.. how difficult is it to tweak things so that they are showing? It seems that it's the HD patcher that's wiping them somehow. Is it a huge task?
I don't mind digging in and figuring these sort of things out but just wondering if anyone knows about these things could give me an idea of how difficult it is. I don't want to spend a ton of time to find out it's almost an impossible task. I absolutely love the Millenaire mod to death but this 256 pack has spoiled me to death and I can't play without it.
edit: spoke too soon, 2.1.0_02 doesn't cause the conflict. I'm still curious how difficult a job tweaking item icons is. I know how to edit the terrain.png and the basics of the minecraft.jar contents but that's about it.
I'm not quite sure what the Yogscast compilation is and I'm not knowledgeable in the issues that the HD patcher creates with mods. I'm glad the latest patcher resolved this issue, but the icons can be added/edited by altering the proper .png. Likely from what you've described it's under the items.png located in the "gui" folder.
Just wanted to say how much I've loved your pack. Been using it pretty much since I started playing the game. Amazing work all around.
I have come across a couple ores which I think would suit you pack and may or may not be a direction you want to go in. Not sure how much enthusiasm you have left for working on your textures...especially things you've already finished :smile.gif: I know you've been doing it for a while now. Anyways, here is a texture for gold that I think is just brilliant and I could just imagine what you could come up with if you decided to go this route.

Thanks again for your hard work.
It's certainly a really great concept to work with, but I won't be interested in working in that direction for quite some time. As you've said, I've already finished those textures and the enthusiasm to change it quite low at this point.
I'll make a note of it and maybe change it in the future. ^^
Is anyone using the 256 version with Industrial craft? I don't mine the crappy textures of industrial craft it is just i cannot run the game with anymore then 1 fps with both installed. I took the regular textures from industrial craft and converted them to 256x256 and doesn't change anything. BTW great pack i don't ever want to go back to orignial.
Ok this is probbably a dumb question but when ever i download it its not in a zipped pack so i cant use it... what do i do? It gives me all the peices seperate so I cant copy it...I do not know how to make it as one zipped file
Well i have 64 BIT OS now but.. im getting a bit fps lagg any idea how to do this?
Im using the 128X128 pack i also have the same effect fps lagg on the 256x256 pack

It's just a compilation of mods put together by the Yogscast guys. It's got Mo Creatures, More Health and Millenaire, which is a what I hope Adventure mode turns out to be. NPC villages of different types that have different specialized buildings, new items they create from food to armor to weapons to resources. It starts out with just a couple wood buildings and grows as you sell them resources, which they use to build everything themselves. They'll even build you a house for the right price. The stone building you can see part of in the lower left of the second screen above is one they built for me. Just an all around great additional level of play to the game.
Military Town
Agricultural Town
That's your texture pack of course. I can't play the same without it anymore.
I have just recently started to use this pack a lot. But today I tried to use it and the screen on minecraft went black. Is this because this pack hasn't been updated to 1.7 yet?
Why is the iron ore Red? Oh, and I can run the x64 with no problem, but when I try the x128 is said that Minecraft has run out of memory. I did that thing to allocate more memory to java but it still doesn't work. Please help it doesn't do it with any other pack..
ever think about making some character skins to match your epic texture pack? the default skin youve got for the pack is even better looking than most of the other skins i see.
*anxiously/patiently waiting for 1.7 compatibability*
*Highfive*
Edit: Without the texture pack

Thanks. =)
O.o
MUCH appreciated!! Good find, sir.
Time to get to work. ^^
Only thing I can't figure out is the new item beside the cookie in the items.png.
Sad day. =(
Have you tried any of the mods that supposedly increase FPS?
Ah, thank you. =)
Your problem is, you have no CPU...
