The crosshair was messed up, so rather than fix it I 'removed' it.
I kinda just put a black dot in the middle, but it's pretty hard to see.
Still usable for aiming, while not being an eye sore. IMO at least.
I also improved the quality of the gui icons by sharpening the hell out of it, I did that after these pictures though, so you are going to have to dl it yourself to find the difference :tongue.gif:
-pics-
I'll have to mess around with a x32 to see if I can retouch each item for a better result. I'm no pixel artist, but I'll see what I can do. x32 may be a viable option judging by the amount of detail still retained in those images.
Scuttles, I'm so happy right now, I just got COD4 Demo to run in my wine :biggrin.gif:
At max too. :DD
Anyways, Minecraft + mipmapping = :biggrin.gif:
Nice, I rather liked CoD4. It was amazing for it's time. I just wished they never made MW2/MW3 as their attempts at making it better ruined the modern franchise for me. WaW was extremely balanced if you take the MP40 out of the equation.
Noobtubers, wannabe quickscopers, juggernaut, and excessive killstreaks. A great concoction for why I get 8yr old kids screaming into their mics. :sleep.gif:'
But, yea, MC + Mipmapping = A cake without lies ^^
I've had this texture pack for a while now and the same thing happens every time. I install the texture pack; then I go to multiplayer, log off, and start Minecraft again, then it crashes and I must reinstall the texture pack + patcher for it to work. Is there a fix for this? I've tried doing the java heap size thing and still no luck. I don't mind this, I'm just asking :smile.gif: .
I'm not sure if computer specs will help but...
Processor:Intel (R) Core (TM) 2 Quad CPU 2GHz
Ram: 8.00 GB
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
P.S. A while ago, you've said "I'm trying to keep this as "medieval" and dark as possible with this pack. Those are far too modern of wood textures and wouldn't. What I will do is add it to the alternative pile when I release a .png. =)". I have no idea what that last sentence meant :S Could you please explain this? I know, I'm a noob.
I'm also still working on my house on my server (I said I was working on that a while ago) so if anyone wants to join I'll message you the ip :smile.gif: .

Install 64bit Java, silly. You won't ever have that issue again.
The last sentence meant that I would add it to a .png that consists of many old/unused textures for people to pick and choose from. Unfortunately, I've overwrote my previous terrain.psd which consisted of easily 200+ textures that I created, but never used. =(

I was installing the 32-bit instead of the 64-bit version (I thought I was downloading the 64-bit :mellow.gif: . Fail...)
Sucks that you overwrote your old textures D:.
Thanks for the help, everything is working well now :laugh.gif: .

Well, enjoy the finer things of never crashing and always running smooth now. =D
Sucks indeed. =(
The .psd I used to have was approaching 150mb in size and well over 1k layers...
Yeah, I personally liked COD4 too, MW2 had one of the greatest storylines, though.
For some reason, I like Black Ops more than Mw2 though...
The COD4 storyline was above average for me. It really set the bar for the modern warfare-style games that followed. Sniper mission was insane, though. "Okay, let's move" *Grass starts moving* O.o
MW2 had a beautiful storyline. I didn't care for the WaW storyline, but the BO was really trippy and well done.
I tried that and It still gives me that "Minecraft has run out of memory" error. It's only with this texture pack. What did I make wrong?
Installing 64bit Java really should fix your problem. You won't run out of memory with that installed. It's actually impossible from what I understand. XD
I have it already installed and now when I start minecraft, It says "No JVM could be found on your system. Please define EXE4J_JAVA_HOME to point to an installed 32 bit JDK or JRE or download a JRE from java.com"
Seems like you don't have a legal copy of the game. =/
Have you tried using "previous versions" under the file properties?
Yea, I looked up ways of recovering overwritten .psd files and apparently that doesn't work. =(
I did try that just in case and it didn't have any previous versions for me to go to. It's alright, though. I've gotten over it as it was about 5-6 weeks ago and I've managed to get it back up to about 340 layers at 80mb
I really love your texture pack, I use the 256x and it makes even Minecraft look realistic. However could I just ask for one thing? Higher res font. I know it may seem ridiculous but the low res default Minecraft font really conflicts with this beautiful pack. Thanks!

I've been telling Scuttles that forever... >:|
I just put Misa's old font in the texture pack whenever Scuttles updates the pack.
Works like a charm.
Thanks, Aageon. I really appreciate the support. =D
Downloaded your new pack, btw. I'm loving the new changes.
=)

Your Java has run out of memory. Either try a lower resolution or follow the link on the top of the first post.

You need to use the HD patcher:

Scroll down to downloads and choose windows or all other systems.

Yes, you do...
Your game is using 1.4GB of RAM with only 4 LIGHTWEIGHT modifications running.
That's not supposed to happen.
Unless you have another explanation, sounds like a memory leak to me.
