What are some of your system specs? If you have a 64bit computer, be sure to install 64bit Java or keeping your Java up to date always is a plus.
32-bit, 4G of ram. not certain what my video card is, but it can run a heavily modded version of oblivion with alternative shaders with no problems, so im assuming its good.

How the hell.... 32Bit can only have 2GB... Right?
She'll die of de-hydration, How dare you!
Anyways, My phone *Samsung Galaxy S, Android* Keeps butt-dialing people. I was in the middle of a curse fight on Black ops... My mom answered.. ALSO, It changed it's wallpaper. I had it set to a tropical theme, And now it's a nice sunset on the grassy mountains... o.o THE PHONE IS A TOUCH SCREEN!
Lol, wow that took me too long to get that joke.
I tend to stay away from touch screen phones. My friend had one and apparently he called my house and left a message while was at my house talking to me. We listened to the message and it was just a rambling conversation about Medieval II: Total War.
I thought you could lock the touch screen, though. You may want to look into that. I say some pretty vulgar things while playing Black Ops. Can't imagine my mom listening in. XD

And I can. But I didn't set up a lock-pattern/code, So I just slide the unlock button over... Apparently my butt can do that when I move.
She had a long talk with me... But I was honestly only playing black ops in my head.
This is probably a stupid question... but why does it not give me an option to choose anything other than the default pack when i put the texture pack into the minecraft texture pack folder?

Open up the zip, See what's in it, Then get back to us *I'm talking about LBPR Texture Pack, In the /texturepacks/ directory, As you said you have done..*

Alright im not sure why you wanted me to 'see whats in it' but it ended up working by not extracting the files first before placing it into the texturepacks folder. Now that that is solved i get to solve the 'running out of memory' issue... yayyyy. >.>
One more question, when i was using this pack it made everything look insanely static-like. It hurt my eyes so i turned it off. Is this normal?

HERE is how to fix the black screen problem. After a little bit of reading and google and stuff like that I fixed my 256 crashing error.
ONLY DO THESE STEPS IF YOU ARE ON A 64 BIT OPERATING SYSTEM!!!
1. Version of java.
1a. By default windows 7 64 bit auto downloads java 32 bit. Why? Because browsers run in 32 bit and most java applications are web applications, thus the 32 bit default.
2a. To resolve this issue go to HERE and choose the 64 bit for your respective operating system. Install, rejoice, eat cake.
2. Now! For the easy stuff. Download the HD texture patcher that is linked in the first page of this thread.
2a. inside the HD Patcher go to the Options tab. Find the area under "General options" that says "Java Heap Size (MB)" Change this field from "1024" (What mine was defaulted to) To "2048" (exactly double) and patch your minecraft.
3. ?????
3a. ????????
4. Profit!
This texture pack looks amazing, the way it all looks so real looks great. It kinda makes you feel like your in the real world but on Minecraft :cool.gif:

That's due to the lack of texture filtering.
GLSL Shader's Anti-Aliasing and/or Mipmapping can be used to fix this issue.

3KillaBytes Minecraft Server Map (Tectonicus)

Thank you for this!
Read your PMs :smile.gif:
No, It makes the real world feel like minecraft.
The static lok can be fixed by using Optifog+Optimine. Here is the download link: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/249637-166-optifog-and-optimine-fps-boost/
Just turn the MipMap to 4
Changing the memory in the patcher, only works when you hit 'Test Minecraft' in the patcher..
