I'm just going to ignore anyone who brings up complaints about the white texture error. It's getting really irritating that I have to repeat myself. :sleep.gif:'
I reinstalled Minecraft, installed Java for 64-bit, ran the MC Patcher-2.0.1. and I still get this error. It's like the black screen of death
-crash-
It appears as if you're still running in 32bit Java based on your crash report. Your Java is running on mixed mode, ie 32bit on a 64bit computer. Have you uninstalled 32bit Java to see if that help fix your issue?
I'm thinking if this will a full blown addon, it will be purely asthetic. As in the wool textures won't be wool or the proper color. They will probably be ruined walls, rubble, or additional wood/stone textures.
Edit:
Does anyone else feel kind of insulted by Doku posting how many downloads he has for his pack? I'm nearing 1 million downloads and you don't see me flaunting it like a god damn peacock. /rant
Scuttles, My computer charger has died *Aww...*
So I'm in the process of getting another... I'm posting on my last 30 minutes of battery.
I'll check LB Photo Realism on my phone, and maybe post from time to time.
Hopefully, I can get a new charger. -Pazaz

Scuttles, you have a great pack here. I now religiously check this page for the latest updated version and use this pack all the time. Also, I promote Minecraft to my friends using this pack, because it looks so darn impressive. Kudos to you, I wouldn't worry about Doku. I know I won't be using his texture pack anytime soon :wink.gif:

Lol, I do suppose that is a bit bad.
Though Doku's pack is quite good as well.
I still prefer yours, but they are two totally different styles and can't really be compared.
Suggestion for the title though: Maybe add in the last date it has been updated, or just put the version number in.

Awww... It's been over 30 minutes. =/
Best of luck with buying a new charger. Does the warranty cover that because I took the shaft when my laptop's charger went dead. So expensive.

I'm not really threatened by Dokut, he's a talented artist. He just comes of rather arrogant and I'm not quite sure why everyone is idolizing him, lol

Hell, can't argue with that. Entirely different themes and purposes.
I'm a big fan of where he works, though. I've bought the entire Total War series since the first Shogun. I really hope that he had nothing to do with Empire and Napoleon... Not good. =S
I haven't updated this pack in forever. I'm working on getting that update out tomorrow morning (hopefully). Extremely subtle changes from that testing version I sent you so maybe you won't need to download.
Edit:
Anyone else hear about Minecraft going to the 360? What a joke... Notch getting as greedy as Microsoft??? =(
--The first Adfly links allows me to get a little bit of money for your patience of 5 seconds. Again, all of this will go towards purchasing of new textures and the fund. ^^
I am going to be getting a premium Mediafire link very soon. So direct downloads soon. ^^
(64x64) DOWNLOAD LINK: VERSION 5.0.4
For those who aren't capable of running the other HD packs, but are still a loyal fan or just love their fps more than visual effects.
Mediafire Link: http://adf.ly/1fpji
(128x128) DOWNLOAD LINK: VERSION 5.0.4
The standard 128x128 which this pack was originally made in when I first started.
Mediafire Link: http://adf.ly/1fpoh
(256x256) DOWNLOAD LINK: VERSION 5.0.4
This is probably my best work of art. It's was a continuation off of nickhimself's 256 pack from way back in the day when it never seemed possible.

Could be greed. Or maybe he wants more people who don't have a computer that can run Minecraft above 10 fps to be able to play his creation. :smile.gif:
Hey, I previously used this pack at 128 x 128 in 1.5. Since 1.6 I'm unable to load the pack without it crashing. I have tried all the information I have found that I believed would help. I've changed my Java heap size, ran it with the lowest view distance -- And it will not work. About a week ago I managed to not only get the 128 x 128 pack to work but the 256 one as well. I'm very unsure of what happened (I'm running on a 32 bit OS and even in 1.5 I wasn't able to run the highest res pack) -- But it worked perfectly without lag for the five minutes I had Minecraft running. Once I restarted it wouldn't load again.
This is the crash report I am getting:

"Unfortunately, that's an out of memory error that corrupted the textures. =S
What are some of your specs? You may need to allocate memory or even downgrade."
It was working for a bit this morning, but then it crashed and went to the same thing. Here are my spec(s):
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU
6600 @ 2.40GHz
2.40 GHz, 2.00 GB of RAM
Physical Address Extension
And, I think what is doing this, is I changed my Java memory allocation to the full 2 GB...?
(My video card is Overclocked, by the way.)
Yes its going to the box ;D
I was watching microsoft e3 2011 press conference and i saw minecraft 360 i was like ;OO
this pack is amazing btw
and whos is doku ?? ;DDD i see everyone talking about him
I guess I'm only see one side of the coin here. I can imagine that it's expanding the fan base and I'm pretty sure Notch raged about Fortresscraft on the 360 so it may have many reasons, but I'm just not seeing it. XD
All anything, 64 х 64 too, look well, but 128 without errors when it will be possible to see on 32 bit system?
It should be possible, Des. If you have minimum 3GB of RAM, then all resolutions are possible to play with fairly stable. Have you updated your Java yet? Maybe an old version is taking up more memory than it should. I'm running out of ideas until 1.7 comes. :unsure.gif:
Could be greed. Or maybe he wants more people who don't have a computer that can run Minecraft above 10 fps to be able to play his creation. :smile.gif:
Good point. I was first interested with Minecraft because of the mods and huge amount of freedom given to the user to basically make it their own game. All of that is going to be stripped away or added as "downloadable content"... For a price.
Could just be me feeling that Microsoft will never change and is only in it for the money. =(

Unfortunately, this is a huge problem that I'm currently working on. I'm going to release a "compressed" version today sometime and it uses less memory. So far I've had some pleasing results with decreased memory usage in all 3 packs, but I'm not entirely sure it will solve people's problems. =S
Some things I just can't fix for you guys. The 1.6 update consumes huge amounts of memory for absolutely no reason.

Ouch.
2GB of RAM is REALLY pushing it if you want to go anything above x64. You have to leave some room for the OS to function properly. =)
I know thats the original LB Tetxure pack got an european medievil style.
So I decided to turn to asian styles.
So the first i edited the pumpkin and turn it to a "kami-shrine".
I use java version 1.6.0_25 JRE
I use 3 gb RAM + Soon still I will buy 1 Gb ram = 4 Gb
If it does not give result, then all hope on 1.7 minecraft
:dry.gif: F**k
That's certainly going to get you support.
People need to stop blaming texture pack authors for their incompetence.

I guess I'm only see one side of the coin here. I can imagine that it's expanding the fan base and I'm pretty sure Notch raged about Fortresscraft on the 360 so it may have many reasons, but I'm just not seeing it. XD
I'm not sure as to why that is happening. I've never heard of it before. =/
Could you post a screenshot?
It should be possible, Des. If you have minimum 3GB of RAM, then all resolutions are possible to play with fairly stable. Have you updated your Java yet? Maybe an old version is taking up more memory than it should. I'm running out of ideas until 1.7 comes. :unsure.gif:
IP for what?
Thanks. =)
Try the x64. It should run alot smoother for you.
Haha, strange. XD
I kind of like it. It's different.
Phone post - FTW
Na, My warenty was 'messed up' when I installed linux. 50-60 Bucks for a new charger. :/
I no longer consider Notch Indie.
Once again: Give us your specifications.
People say they have top of the line gaming computers when they are still on Commodore 64s.

I use 3 gb RAM + Soon still I will buy 1 Gb ram = 4 Gb
If it does not give result, then all hope on 1.7 minecraft
