Hey I think I may have solved the problem, and yea I had tried what you suggested earlier but the problem didn't go away. I restored the backup of the .Jar file for minecraft to run without any mods, the mods that I had been previously using were OPtiFog and Optimine. So it has to been one of those mods that is either messing with the HD Patcher or the Texture pack itself. Im sure that this question has been answered before but Is there any known compatibility issues with OptiFog and Optimine used along side the HD Patcher? I know that Optifog and Optimine both work fine together on the current version 1.6.6.

I used the Minecraft HD Patcher, and for some reason, some items in the game appear as white blocks (as though Mincraft could not find any textures for those items)

Please help (I am currently re-downloading the texture pack an will test it soon)

I have re-downloaded it, and that has not fixed the issue.

I will try a fresh download of Minecraft.

Am i doing something wrong?
I tried both just dropping the textures into the jar, the hd patcher, and put in jar then patch in hd patcher, all get this. i tried both 256 and 128, both gave me the samething. my pc is not bad running 2 5400 series hd radeon with 3.8 GHz and 8 GB DDR3 1333MHz Ram. i cant get it working. :[

Are you using any mods? if so try with a fresh copy of minecraft. If not try un-patching then re-patching the game. If that doesn't work your com might not be able to recognise the textures... the only other thing I would say is that you don't have enough RAM, but seeing you have 8GB there should be no problem...

Anyone have links or anything to old versions of this? I prefered the old stone, netherrack, and bedrock.

There is a extra pixel leftover over obsidian.


Another thing, when are you going to add HD texture for the cake? Do you have something against the cake?

I fixed my problem with minecraft not geting to the title I just removed the texture from the folder and that fixed it.

What are some of your computer specs? From my experience that usually happens when someone is allocating memory to 32bit Java on a 64bit system.

I'm trying to keep this as "medieval" and dark as possible with this pack. Those are far too modern of wood textures and wouldn't. What I will do is add it to the alternative pile when I release a .png. =)

Well, you could try 2 things that I can think of:

1. Install 64bit Java if you haven't already. You have 8gb of RAM, why not use it?

2. Try following the thread at the very top of the first post.

Thank you. I shall fix it within the next update. =)

Cake is a touchy subject for me. I tried a while back and failed miserably at it. I always blamed it on "nostalgia" as I changed the game so much with this texture pack that maybe I wanted to leave a last remnant of Minecraft.

In any case, the cake will be changed in due time. it's LONG overdue at this point.

Very strange method. I'll add that to my collection of "fixes" that is stockpiling for this white box method. So far, I've have no sure fix for it and no one solved the issue the same way. Quite frustrating.

Do texture packs make the game run better?

Just installed the shaders.

X_X Looks so sweet.
Missed these.

The shaders really improve Mipmapping a lot.
Makes it look much better.

And Scuttles, I do think the iron door texture needs some work...
It should have a window of some sort :S
