So Scuttles, do you ever ACTUALLY play Minecraft anymore?
You do So much texturing that.... I just assumed...
Eh, the Wife (Yes, she demands a capital "W" now, lol) play quite a bit on our server. I used to browse the Minecraft servers all the time, but just haven't had the time recently with texturing and helping the family prep for my sisters graduation party.
Plus, Call of Duty just got the 1.09 update on PS3 so I try not to have a life. =)

I noticed that, My friend had hoped the PSN Shop was up... It's not. :sad.gif:
We were doing Combat training for about 2 hours... I leveled up 6 Times... 28 now, :biggrin.gif:

Yea, I'm getting Infamous and LBP as my two free games when it comes back up. I'm also buying the hell out of the new map pack. XD
Have you tried the new hardcore combat training mode? I can't imagine vet on hardcore. Aimbots + 1-2 shot kills? Not my cup of tea...

All he wanted to do get that map pack anyways... I want to play zombies, I hate Five, And I love Kino... Need... More... Maps..
On a side note, Aimbots are just terrible... For one, I always get raped on Vet
2. They always elude my claymores
3. I just ****ing hate aimbots.
Here are some new download links for the new update that I'm going to post soon. No Adfly as my apology for not being here all day. So much for sister's graduation. =S
TO ANYONE WITH THE WHITE SQUARES: I can't fix that issue. The only viable solution to the issue thus far is following the increased Java heap thread at the top of the first post and then reinstalling Minecraft completely. Other than that, there is nothing that can be done. =/
Yup, Reported Intelekt too, but we shouldn't do it too much, it might make him a happy troll :wink.gif:
By the way, I still wonder why he came on this thread to vomit his nonsense...
Back on topic, I love your latest update! Those crops look amazing, and I can't wait to animate those with GLSL shaders. I usually swap a few textures like Soulsand (not evil enough to me ^^ ) or spider web, but I always use your pack as a base.
Again, thanks for your hard work.
Trolls will be trolls. If he keeps it up, I'll get his IP. Let's see how cute this immature child is after I break his parent's computer. It's the lack of good moderation lately that has caused such idiocy to peak.
Thanks on the update. =)
I've come to realize that it's impossible to please everyone and completely understand when people swap out textures. Everyone has different preferences. :wink.gif:
Waving crops should look pretty amazing indeed. Would you be willing to post a short video?
Had that problem too with the 256 version. At first many tiles were just plain white actually. I reasoned that it could be a memory problem (Not able to load the texture?). So i messed around with increasing and decreasing Java's memory amount. And found out that i had to increase it to solve this problem. (Top of OP there's a link how to)
Anyway, this is my personal theory. so don't bash me if this doesnt help =).
I think im doing something wrong could u please correct me with what i did wrong heres what i did
1: downloaded mcpatcher clicked run and the patch.
2: then i went to your mediafire 64 bit texture and downloaded
3: after that i opened the minecraft texture pack folder and dragged all the files from the mediafire download thing into the texture pack folder
4: however when i go into mods and texture packs its only the deffault look and when i start the game it looks like how it was before.
So yeah if someone could explain in a easy way i would be happy cause im not really good with computers :/

good luck =)
At this point because no one knows the real reason why it happens the personal theories are the only thing we can go by. The theory that I've developed is that the game is designed to only withstand so much memory without reallocating more or having 64bit Java. I'm guessing that when it starts running out of memory, it stops caring about some of the more memory intensive tasks such as rendering huge textures. This is only one of my theories as the other have to do with the HD patcher and the Advanced Open GL being broken.
Sorry for rambling... Thank you for your information. It's a start to trying to remedy the white plague.
Edit:
Anyone with pixel errors on the x128 and x64 (Not white boxes), I downscaled using an improper filter. I will fix that momentarily.

Just copy over the .zip into the texture pack folder, not the files inside. =)

Scuttles,
If you are getting the white box, try this and see what happens, just as a test:
Delete some of the bigger files in the zip, like clouds, art, animated water/lava, etc. Get the pack size down to below 20 megs. Then see if you still get the white boxes. If you still do, edit the terrain.png and delete all the WildGrass textures that add alot to the terrain.png. See if you still get the white boxes.

Lemme know if anyone tries it and it works.
Unfortunately, I can't replicate the white box issue. I've even resized my textures to 1024x1024 to see if I would get it, but it simply would stay at 0-1 FPS. =S
At this point, I'm 95% sure that it has something to do with memory.
Thanks, Adriorn, you'll probably help some other folk with such issues. =)
Also, has the black issue fixed itself yet on your ceilings?
Not the download, the entire pack - freezes when I select your texture pack - firstly menus disappear, then even a background and all I can see is black screen.
What resolution? Last time I thought you had the white square issue, right?
Yea... Might have been awkward. XD
Lol (literally almost sent my supper down the wrong pipe)
Edit:
Just noticed I conserved 6mb with the new update. Who needs massive resolution maps anyway?

If you ever need anything done, I am a PM away.
x64 still not working for me :-(
Я РУССКИЙ. Я плохо знаю английский, если тут есть русско-язычные помогите с проблемой.

Thank you I'll keep that in mind. =)
If you want, you could join me in the effort of making textures for mods. =)
I'm almost done with The Aether so any other popular mods I should work on next?

Ok i will try that now :smile.gif:

Quite welcome.
