I have absolutly NO idea why using Ad.fly makes you a bad member of the community. Personally, I never have to wait... seems like a bug for me, but the "Skip Ad" button is available as soon as the side loads :biggrin.gif:
I go out of my way to click on Ad.fly links for mods and tex packs I like. So, even though I aren't going to use your pack (My CPU probably can't take it...) I clicked on the link. O.o

I have done fresh installs about a dozen times, upped my java memory, yadda yadda yadda..
I have found this though... I am not getting the white boxes on the 64 pack, but the 128 and 256 are still getting them.. which is heartbreaking and frustraiting as I prefere the 128pack's details... I guess Im just going to have to swallow down the less pretty (but still nice) 64pack and hope they fix this patching error on the MCPatcher or something. :sleep.gif:
Hmmm... that changes things up a bit. As Phantom had said, try disabling/enabling advanced open GL. Please comment back if it fixes or doesn't fix. It's hard to find and error that I can't replicate myself. =S
Hey, this is an amazing texture pack but on tools i am experiencing a blur around the hilt of the item as in its partially see through but it look weird and ugly. any way to fix this?
Make sure you have the latest version of the patcher. That was an error that was fixed about 2 days ago. ^^
Scuttles you might want to get people who are having the crashing out of memory issue to try java from here http://jdk7.java.net/download.html its the latest builds of java7 or what ever you want to call it as i have no out of memory issues with these systems specs also using the latest video drivers from nvida 275.27 and running win7 64bit sp1
EVGA GTX 460 SC 1gig
Phenom II 955 BE @ Stock
4gig Crucial balistics DDR2 800
JDK 7 build b144
Smart man. You have 64bit Java already installed. =D
I have a link somewhere on the main page for the 64bit users because it's really uncommon that the 32bit users have issues due to an outdated Java. Usually it's a user error or their computer simply cannot handle it.
Great texture pack! I really like the look of cobblestone, trees, etc. However, I've built my place in a snowy biome and when it snows I can hardly tell where I'm going. Maybe revisit the snow weather to give it a little more visibility? After all, falling snow doesn't really look like giant snow flakes lol
I wanted to make them smaller, but if I increased the detail to pull that off, the game would lag tremendously regardless of PC. Anyway, I wanted to have the loss of visibility because if it's snowing/raining in real life, you don't go running outside. =)
I can make some alternates for folks such as yourself who enjoy the more passive approach to weather. :wink.gif:
Could you tell me what are these few white lines? They only appear when I hold a torch, they disappear underwater and when HUD is hidden. That's 64x64 pack.
I... have no idea. =S
It's certainly not part of the dirt as I just checked it. The pixels are too small for it to be a stray pixel by the torch as well. I really have no idea as to why it would be doing that. Time to bust out my x64 and find it.

What do you mean not working and what does the water splashes look like?
Apparently some of Doku's users are even experiencing this white box issue. That's a x32 pack...

I can't fix the white squares. I did a hell of alot of research and the best I can come up with is that Notch broke the advanced open GL. Maybe turning it off will fix the issue, but no one has gotten back to me after trying. =/
I really cant understand how people have problems with this, went clean and smooth with me for the 256x pack
Glad to hear this. =)
I'm getting really frustrated with people having the white square issue as it's nothing I can fix, but I've spent hours trying to find a reason for why it happens in the first place.

Its off by default and Ive never bothered to turn it on.. I did so this morning just to see if it would fix it, but no luck. :/ The 128 and 256 still have white blocks for tools and such.

I've had quite a few messages that the new 1.6.6 FIXED their white box issues. GAHH!!!!!!!
Anyway, have you tried a fresh install as of the 1.6.6 update? I'll have to update the main post now... Again.
Just looking at the terrain.png for the (I believe) the most recent version, it appears as though there is no redstone... Is this correct? I haven't been able to load and test in-game because I am waiting for a few more mods to update before I jump to 1.6.5? .6? wherever Notch stops...
I also wanted to tell you how much I love this pack. I am reading through the forum (page 45 now...) and like seeing the progression. It is quite impressive. I have used this pack, although the x128 mostly, since I started playing MC because I love the mechanics of play but hated the simple, pixelated graphics.
Danke!

I'm glad you like this texture pack. =)
The redstone has a new texture as of 1.4 or maybe 1.5. The texture is now a right below the bed and looks black and white.
The progress made to this texture pack is quite magnificent. I've worked extremely hard to get it this far. I still have many things left to do in later updates.
My god... I may be on to something here!!! Remember those out of memory errors? It's a possibility that when it quickly closes it only is saving the world chunks and corrupts the textures. After all, if it's not saving the data present on the polygons, why would it render it again?
Edit:
I'm guessing this is simply something that Notch broke with 1.6 as it never happened prior to this and the changes made to the HD patcher for the next update is substantially minimal from what I understand.
Also, since this has been experienced in resolutions as low as x32, so I may still keep the HD patcher as a culprit. Was browsing through Doku's pack and noticed a few reports of the white plague.
To top things off, a guy on the other website I showcase this texture pack actually fixed the white texture problem by increasing his allocated memory and THEN reinstalled Minecraft and the texture pack (Patcher obviously included as well)

Now, if we can reproduce this with default textures, maybe Notch will fixy.
Have any of your people been having issues with Smooth Lighting and step textures? All my roofs done with wood or stone steps have seriously screwed up lighting. The odd part is, it's not in all my worlds. I haven't found any mention of it from any of my users, so just wondering wtf it might be. The issue wasn't there before the 1.6.x updates, and it started at some point before 1.6.6. ATI related perhaps? I'm dumbfounded, for it even happens pure vanilla without the HD fix.
Thanks chief.
(Or Phantom, you've seemed smart in the past with graphic issues)
Can you play the server? If it so, it is the player far from you, and if is not present, it is not known (
