I don't think it's mipmapping, that should only happen for textures that are far away...
However I don't see anything in the terrain file that should cause that.
I'll try without mipmapping and get back to ya.
I can't find anything on the terrain.png and I've not experienced it myself yet. Probably just another HD patcher issue which won't be fixed for another few days. :dry.gif:
Nah, you were right, it is Mipmapping.
So weird...
Oh well, I'll post in the Mipmapping thread then :tongue.gif:
That's a relief, but a bit depressing. That mipmapping modder has had a shitstorm of errors since releasing his mod. =(
Also to everyone with the white box issue. I don't understand... This is with downloaded version (off the mediafire link and I even clicked the skip ad) and found absolutely no issues with the latest version of the HD patcher and items. =S
Well ive managed to put the Java heap size to 756
and i can run the 256x texture pack again and i hope it will stay like this.
And i dont have a 64bit computer :S
Indeed. Good to hear that you've managed to get it to work. =)
Thank you and you have a pretty nice setup there. =)
I really hope you are on a 64bit system with 64bit Java. That may have been your issue before.
Well my last pc wasnt exactly strong. it was only
AMD Athlon 64 X2 2.00GHz
2gb ram
Nvidia 9500GT
And Minecraft refused to run the x256 pack on that. and due to the low ram, i was running x86, not x64 :smile.gif:
On my New PC, however i am using x64 with the 64-Bit Java.
Im Really good with computer stuff, so im literally saying there was NO way to run the x256 pack on my old pc, unless i wanted to play at like 1FPS due to ram being 99%
Looking forward to more updates

Haha, true enough. Those specs were quite... Poor. XD
Your new PC seems quite capable. Do you runs games such as Crysis (A bit cliche, I know) to see it's limitations?
1. Video has absolutely NO EDITING done with it. You're an idiot for not reading the description. All he did was have a mod that increases the render distance beyond far and a cloud mod.
2. The reason I'm doing Adfly is for my kid that the wife and I want. There is absolutely nothing for me. Everything goes into a fund that hopefully will give my kid some diapers and maybe a decent college. XD
3. Due to your superior lack of reading skills thus far, I'm going to go ahead and assume that you didn't read any of the directions either. Good game, sir. Enjoy boycotting with a lost cause.
Saw through my plan. :unsure.gif:
But yea, I can guarantee that absolutely nothing is wrong with the texture pack. 99% of the time is user error and then they proceed to say "thanks for ruining my game". If they aren't competent enough to get this to work or even ask for help, it's their own damn fault.
Odd way to bypass the HD patch error. XD
He did a quick fix last night so it probably won't happen again.
I think you mean the LotR server that I'm a huge fan of. You have to go visit their thread. :wink.gif:
Computer specs? You may just need to install 64bit Java which is usually the case.

I shouldn't have to increase to 64 bit or the amount of ram allocated to java if i ran the texture pack fine for months before 1.6 came out.

****, I can't even run Crysis too well. :S
Try Metro 2033 >:biggrin.gif:
For me, Metro 2033 runs quite a bit better than Crysis though.

thats what she said
Describe 'white'? Can you provide a screenshot?
Your issue is most likely not with the texture pack though, and with MCPatcher, your computer, or both.

Do you have any other mods installed?
Try redownloading the pack.

The issues people describe can not be caused by a texture pack.
The issues are with their computer setups, or MCPatcher.
