Man, that's an awesome Texture pack, but the menus are hard to use (like the inventory, the workbench, etc). Might I suggest using a lighter shade of brown for the background or changing it entirely so it's easier to see tools and such?

I've lightened it up fairly significantly from it's original state. I can't really do much more without making it repulsively bright. =/
How dark do you people set your computer screens??? I can see all of the items more than fine.
scuttles in this recent version update of your texture pack i've noticed the dungoen spawner texture has changed somehow is this intended or accidental? here's a picture of the dungoen spawner
Haha, nice!
I really enjoy the mipmapping mod as well. I agree with Phantom, though. The anisotropic filtering is such a better way to filter the textures and a modder really needs to support it.
I just messed around with the Nvidia Control Panel. Things like Anti-Alising work just fine, but the Anisotrophic Filter makes the game even more grainy. :dry.gif:
Unfortunately after changing the settings for minecraft (javaw.exe) and having the Mip-Map Mod active there appeared gaps between the texures just like Phantom Gamer mentioned.
I had to reset the Nvidia settings to get the mip map mod back to work properly.
Looks like Notch has to get his hands on the issue and add AF support. Till then im fine and will happily live with white glowing torches :wink.gif:
And yet again you get some Notch delivered Diamonds, careful they're still hot. :blink.gif:

I think I changed that intentionally, lol
Well, you like it? It's the old glass texture from an earlier version.
Kinda hard to do, such a small image I can't see what she tried to make with it...
Anyway which filters are you talking about?
Teach me your ways, wise one.
<- Photoshop N00b.
(Well, technically I used PAINT.NET, but I have PS too.)
When trying to upscale an entire image, go into Image--->Image Size.
From there, it should have a line at the bottom saying something like "bicubic" and you can select from several different filters. For pixel art I would use the "nearest neighbor" filter as it upscales without blurring.

Wonderful!
And what would be the best for downscaling? :tongue.gif:
And what would be the best for downscaling? :tongue.gif:
=D
I use the bilinear option for downscaling as the nearest neighbor just ruins many of the textures with excessive noise. (Which is already a pain in the ass for this game. XD
Edit:
After upscaling, it's easy to use some filters and effects to give it more definition.
Alignment might actually be off, the left side seems to have more space between the edge than the right side. Nvm, could just be my imagination, only real way to tell's looking at the textures. Edit: Was bugging me so I took a look, and who knew, I wasn't actually imagining things. The left has more space in between than the right.
Though just meant seems a bit weird with the double edges with a space in between. Just seems a lack of a central focus on the pane.

The inner square was off center by 1 pixel to the right giving that lopsided feel. I fixed it for when the 1.6 update comes out this week. ^^
You two are funny. :tongue.gif:
I think she wanted you to make a high res texture of her skin, not just upscale that really low res one.
You're using the wrong filters to upscale anyway.

Without modding, no. There is a few mods out there, but I'm not heavy into modding and don't know where.
Search may be more helpful than I
Thanks! :wink.gif:

Lol, I upscaled the default textures to 256x256.
Looks quite nice actually.

I deter from using Skype or AIM as I really pay any attention to them. I had AIM for well over a year and used it like 2 times. XD
I'd be more than happy to answer questions here, though. I check it quite often.
Lol, senseless use of more RAM?
You should try to scale it up as high as you can before crashing Minecraft. I heard the new patcher goes beyond 1024x1024. =D
