Well. Good news is I got it to work finally. Bad news is after playing for a hour when I exited my cave and came to the surface most of the land was "invisible" and I could see all the cave systems below the world! >.<

On a side note I take it mods will be easier to add tot he game in future updates? THoguht I read somewhere that theres an update which allows for easy modding. I hate beind a mod noob lmao.

Hmmmm... I sometimes have that issue happen to me. It gets so bad sometimes that I'm just about to walk on "invisible" ground before it renders properly. Does not happen very often, though.

I have no idea about the modding, sorry. Same as you, I'm way behind in that area.

I think I messed up my first edit. I hate this new stuff...

Anyway, I wanted to post this version of stone that will be available for download soon in addition to the old classic stone I had a while back that some people miss. Excuse the darkness as I'm lightened it up significantly since then.

Well, that stone texture fell apart and became my new dirt texture, lol

Any opinions/critiques?

Also, how did you get that html thingy for the release notes doohickey? I have had a second release and I am working on a third that has some minor fixes.

I use "code" and "/code" for those release notes. Just replace the quotes with the usual brackets.

I really couldn't find a bamboo texture that I enjoyed myself either. Sometimes I get really picky with my textures. =/

I have plenty of alternates hidden up my sleeve, but many of them look awful because I haven't polished them or they just don't fit in with the pack at all.

I also have a strong distaste for the new forums. Load times are tremendously longer and I can't think of a redeeming quality.

I just realized that I haven't posted an update in over a week and I've lost track of the things I've change/updated. XD
If I'd have to post an ETA, I'd say that this weekend would be a very high chance.

New snow was certainly one of my favorites. That sunset picture really makes it look amazing. =)
The dirt is a bit sketchy, but I wanted something a bit gritty to replace the spongy looking dirt. I'll try to mess around with it some more to get some better results.

I downloaded the texture pack, which looks great btw. But I was wondering if everything is supposed to sparkle and look grainy from a distance?

I could upload a picture if you want but, maybe you know what I'm talking about.

You should actively edit a text file whenever you change something :tongue.gif:

It's because of the lack of Texture Filtering in Minecraft.
Use a lower resolution texture pack if it bothers you that much.
(The x64 version of this pack's graininess isn't too bad)

Idk why, but I love taking pictures through door windows. Lol.

I really love this texture pack, it's gorgeous. the ONLY criticism I have is the dirt appears orange-ish. I request a more brown color change in the future.

I'm getting used to these new forums. Loads a hell of alot slower, but has some decent features. Thank god for search returning!!! We also can delete posts.

Long side grass or short? This will likely be for fancy only since the sidegrass without a biome coloration is kinda ugly.

You're right... The dirt does seem a bit off. Less organic even. =/
