Hey love the texture pack but on the last update you changed the stone and the glass and they used to look way better! Can you change them back next update please?
Took me about 24 hours over 4 days. Initially it was the pool and base area day one, day two was top floor, and day three was bottom and four was the deck and fire pit [not shown cause I forgot... ]. I'll be doing up another one with it not being so dark and a full modern texture pack that you/I/we create and make it much smoother/nicer.
The 256 pack takes about 2GB rounded to run smoothly. Even still, with a rig like mine. I flutter around 100FPS and 40-50 with Wildgrass on. Quite sad actually.

Wow, definitely worth the effort, though. It's absolutely gorgeous. I can't wait for that. =D
I think we should start collaborating ideas/textures for some of the blocks sometime.

Nooooooooooo D:
New versions are so much better :S
I rather like the new versions myself. I will be releasing an "alternative.png with all the old textures and a few things that I never implemented so you can place them back in yourself. =)

Another "HD pack" that turns into a shimmering wreck beyond a few meters, 0.5/10 for effort.

...You're an idiot.
Guess you have no clue how argument works either.
Seems you don't know how avatars work. Which to me, is more of a 'common sense' ordeal since the human brain naturally wants to view things right side up.
Don't see how this pack fails. Probably the best out there and is going to be expanding rapidly within the next couple months. Don't get upset that your computer can't handle it.
.5/10 for effort, 10/10 for stupidity.
You should be reported for your attempt at egging on a fight.
My computer is having problems running the pack on x256 haha and it can run SHogun 2 and Bad Company 2 on high everything! the pack looks amazing though!

Hmmm... I love Shogun 2 and BC2 so I shall help you. =)
Alright, what is your system specs? It's also beneficial to have an up-to-date Java and if you have a 64bit system, be sure to have 64bit Java installed as well.
Maybe a dumb question, but are you using the HD patcher?

Haha, thanks mate, but don't drag him back into an argument. He obviously isn't mature enough to be on these forums. =/
I have reported him and it's up to the mods whether to ban/suspend him. I really don't feel like doing any illegal activity to his computer at the moment.
Edit:
I've decided to take my glowstone in an entire different direction and hopefully most of you will enjoy the change. I haven't been able to make a cooperating texture thus far with the glowstone, so I searched Google. I found this neat glass texture and naturally made it seamless. =D
I have been wanting this texture pack for some time but I dontknow why it will not let me get it. I have read everything you typed over and over.
When I choose 'test minecraft' it comes out with this:
Launching C:\Users\Milissa\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\minecraft.jar
java -cp C:\Users\Milissa\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin/minecraft.jar;C:\Users\Milissa\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin/lwjgl.jar;C:\Users\Milissa\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin/lwjgl_util.jar;C:\Users\Milissa\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin/jinput.jar; -Djava.library.path=C:\Users\Milissa\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\natives -Xmx2048M -Xms512M net.minecraft.client.Minecraft
Error occurred during initialization of VM

Could not create the Java virtual machine.
Minecraft exited with status 1
I found this neat glass texture and naturally made it seamless. =D
-snip-
I like it.
Not sure if it fits 100% though, I mean Glow Stone IS found in the Nether... maybe it should have a hellish look to it?
-pics-
Silly, Phantom. I was just wondering if the texture was better than the other one. :tongue.gif:
I wouldn't make it red, though. Redstone already fills that cup with the naturally glowing stones. I was thinking along the lines of a vibrant yellow or a brighter blue. The blue is nice because it leaves a great contrast between the Netherrack. ^^

Ok so I consider myself capable of installing mods, as I do so on a regular basis. The texture pack is no problem up and running (By the way, It looks amazing on my 1900x1200 monitor (especially at no less than 150fps(although thats not needed))) (I like parentheses). Ok back ontopic, the problem I'm having is with trying to get the wild grass mod to work with it, No matter which one I use I can't seem to get it to work. I do have modloader, as I thought I read it was needed. Do I not need it? Help would be greatly apreciated, I want to bask in this pack's full glory!
As of right now, the modloader is incompatible with the "better grass" aspect of the HD patcher. With that being said, the wildgrass will work without the better grass. First, download the modloader and wildgrass (both the mod and my wildgrass version). Then, since place the designated .class files into the minecraft.jar for each of the mods and the proper "wildgrass" folder (Resolution dependent) in as well.
Hope that helps.

WHat do i do?
Unfortunately, it does seem like you are running out of memory. Regardless, I'd post this in the patcher thread as it has nothing to do with the pack. =)

The pack is really cool but not about 128x. Then just work the original textures
A little abstract, but I think I understand. You don't like the x128, but like the original (Assuming x256) textures?

Good. Atleast it will keep you out of my thread.

Nor do you.
You claim this pack is bad, yet you list no reasons why.
I concur what Scuttles said, and bump it up by saying:
You're a moron.
And judging by your name, you may just be trolling.
In which case I congratulate you on your success.
I like it.

@Pazaz
Lol
Poor thing. XD
Did that for teh lulz
I could make torches glowsticks. =D
From a logical standpoint, I'd have to agree with you . The vibrant yellow just seems to make sense.
Compare the image I post below, with your pack. EXACTLY THE SAME *Except for the GUI + Items.png*
Good to see you're using my pack.
Don't know why you don't like my items or GUi. =(
vanilla + your pack = chocolate.
I'm more of a Blue Moon guy, myself, but I get your analogy. ;D
Working on the alternate biomes today as well as a few terrain.png refinements (including the glowstone and probably the rest of the Nether)
The summer biomes works really well with this pack. Brings a fresh feeling to the pack. ^^
Not sure why, but I loved how it looked with stone in the picture. I'm also confused as to why these outcrops appear so strangely. =/
