Hey, just wanted to say thanks for making this awesome texture pack. IMO, it's the best 256 texture pack currently released.
One thing that irks me a bit about the pack, though, is the quality of the paintings. I feel that they're not up to par with the detail of the rest of the items, especially in the 256x version. If this is something that has been addressed or that cannot be tended to at the time, I apologize. On a whole, this pack is my favorite by far, and I believe that higher res paintings would make more the pack a lot more well-rounded.
I know I've said this many times, BUT I FREAKING LOVE YOUR PACK.
I try my best. ^^
Thanks for your help and input as well.
I decided to play around with your sand texture and ended up with a blend of both sand textures which turned out pretty well. It has very soft ripples which tiles beautifully and looks fairly nice in deserts.
Look at that ****. No credit at all :sad.gif:
Without my sand texture, It'd still be
Do I get a thanks? :biggrin.gif:
I've installed the Java for 64bit Win 7 ... patched the game with the HD patcher with 2048 memory fix aand ... still crashes : /. The 128 one works but the 256 crashes.

[email protected]: dunno what changed, but for the last couple weeks I have been able to use 256x packs no problem. have been playing the hell out of yours :tongue.gif:
Hey sorry, i didn't read the 120 pages and i would like to know, if you still support / use bump mapping in your texture Pack! :smile.gif:
I'm just asking, because i saw a video on youtube and it just looked awesome, would be great if you're still working on it!!
Anyways, keep up the good work!
Thanking you for an answer in anticipation! :smile.gif:
And sorry for my bad english! :wink.gif:
I have a user named 'dufric' working on it. He's done some impressive work and that was likely his video you saw. I haven't heard from him in a while and I hope he's continuing on it.

Scuttles, Can you give me the links to Version 1-4.2.2?
I'm making a Texture Pack Customizer.
Just the links. I dont care about the size that they will add up to. I need them.
EDIT---
Seriously, It'll be worth it when I finish, You'll see. *256x256*
Eh, I don't care for the customizer. Dilutes my downloads.

Just saw a bunch of bumpmapping pictures for other packs... they were all 128x128 and my mind is still blown.
I hope Dufric is still actively working on them, having them for this in 256x256 would make my heart stop. X|
Same here. I have little to no knowledge with bumpmapping/specular with his mod and I really don't want to learn. XD

I'm a minimalistic graphics designer. So I'm on the opposite end of you. :biggrin.gif:
Wow, that was one of the areas I was studying for when I first went into college. =D

I'm working on like 5-10 glass textures for a friend's mod and I'm sure one of them will be to your liking. ^^

Yep, I haven't got around to making full 256x256 paintings due to time constraints and higher priorities. They should be done with a few weeks max.

Welcome back!
That is strange, did your computer update or do anything you possible weren't aware of? I'm glad you've been playing my pack. Any suggestions? =D
it was either 1.5,the newest patcher...or the win 7 service pack that fixed it. as far as suggestions.... not really.. well.. not that I can think of atm, been working on my pack all night/morning..brain is frazzled...lol

Newest patcher. Microsoft sucks at fixing problems without creating x2 more.
This mod is great and I would hate to have to play minecraft without it now. However there is one thing that really bothers me.
Rain. Even during the day, the rain graphic makes it seem like rain is coming down so heavily that my vision is impaired enough to be almost useless. It is worse when over dark items like dirt or grass, and better when in a snowy area (i still mean rain, not when im walking in snow)
Anyone else get this problem? In basic, i can still see quite far, but the mod makes it near impossible. The Rain looks like an amazonian downpour.

Do you have the latest version of this pack? I've lessened the intensity of the rain a while back.

True story. MS can't do anything right. (360 *cough* *cough*)
Newest patcher is amazing. I'm loving the better grass.

From what I could read, I've noticed your Java is out of date. Also, a known crash for the 256 is people running 32bit Java on a 64bit computer. Try downloading 64bit Java if you have the appropriate system.

I'm unable to get either download link for the 256 textures to work. Takes me to a 404 page after waiting adfly's 5 seconds.
any ideas?
I just updated them to a Dropbox link which won't get corrupt unlike the old links. I may have done it incorrectly, though. Can anyone confirm that they still work because it may only work on my computer. =S

did you use the direct link? i downloaded it fine just 15 minutes ago.
I tried them all, actually. None of them work for me. Not had an issue with Adfly before. Let me try a different browser.
edit: Getting the same error (403 actually) with 3 different browsers.
