First I click the link for the256 anda survey popes up. So I exit and click the 256 media flare. The I start minecraft. When I put the exatracted file into the texture file my computer crashed. I did a quick scan and I got 3 Trojan viruses. Now my computer is broke. The file has the graphics but it had a virus on it too. You should fix that.

I realize that. I asked if he could make those two textures and give them to me :S, I'm sure there's a plugin for photoshop to do it. I forgot the maker :s Nvidia I think

Unfortunately, Minecraft does a "Nope - shutting down" when I try to switch to / open the 256x version, so I've been just using 128x.
The only thing I don't like texture-wise is the chest/inventory GUIs. Maybe it's just me (colorblind) but the items on it are hard to see. ;-;
Which, might I add, is beautiful. Great work, Scuttles. This is definitely in my top two texture packs, and it's the one I use most of the time.

What are your specs? It may just be your Java needs to be 64bit if you have a 64bit computer.
i hate to bug everyone with great ideas for the pack but i have tried EVERYTHING to get the 256 pack to work and trust me i'm no n00b i know how to install texture packs and mod complex items but i just can not get my computer to run it. it can only run the 128 version which i'm getting tired of because i like high quality. :/ is the anyone out there with some experience with Java that can help me, i have the code here.

You have a 64 Bit computer? If so, Uninstall all java, then install 64Bit Java. Up your Java heap size too.

All you need to do is place the wildgrass .pngs from the wildgrass download into the minecraft.jar inside the bin folder. You'll also need the wildgrass mod placed in there as well. This is located in the "client" folder of his mod.
But you do know that the better/ER grass one works with this though, right?
I'd try what you suggest, but i'm so new at minecraft, let alone modding it to just try them all at once.
If you have the time, it'd be nice if you could ask those people about those mods to find out if they work *cough*

That's for specular mapping, bump mapping requires a bit more work.
