Thanks. It has actually inspired me to make some more better natural textures for many things such as the minerals. =)

I probably didn't installed it correctly, as animated fire isn't working...
I haven't added in an animated fire quite yet. It's still a bit buggy and not quite as smooth as I want it to be. Sorry if you were expecting. it. =/

Dont change the bed rock please :sad.gif:
I think that is one of the coolest rocks. And with infinite itens is a very cool ( AWESOME) alternative to black wool.
I had plans to change it, but never got around to it. It was originally a 128x128 texture that I upscaled and forgot about. =S
You can always place it back into the terrain.png with a photo editing software that allows transparencies. =D

Yeah, I got the 128x pack working, so it must just be an issue with Win 7 x86 and the 256x pack. :/ Oh well, I'll use this for now. :3 Thanks. :happy.gif:
Of the few things I hate about this game, making it run in Java is certainly up there on the list.
Quote from kailip »
The same is happening with me, I'm using Win 7 x64 and it's not working, but the 128x pack is perfectly fine.
You, sir, need 64bit Java to resolve your issue. =)

Hey Scuttles,
Just curious on a few things now that 256x256 is working for me again. I have been playing for quite a while now and I have had Rain weather effects but no thunderstorms I was just wondering if there is lightning in this pack?
There probably is I just wanted to check because I really want to see some thunderstorms lol.
Also is there a file somewhere in the folder that says what version I am currently using?
Thanks mate.
Lighting is fairly rare and, personally, I've only heard/saw it twice out of the 6 and a half storms I've experienced. I say half because the storm literally had a 5x10 dimension. Smallest storm ever, lol
Grand idea! I'll add that in the next update. It would seem a bit confusing now that I think about it. XD
Quote from PhantomGamers »
No, but that's a good idea.
Get err done, Scuttles! :-P
currentver.txt
Then get
pack.txt
pack.png
:-P
Lol, yea... Its done, but awaiting something worthwhile to actually make it an update. XD

Cool pack!
Please make it more lush, meaning less dead leaves and/or grass and moree green?
I'm working on things like this. All I can suggest for now is to move towards a less desert region. Rainforest is very lush and green.

Mine all still work. I sometimes get a little hung at the bottom if I don't hold the space bar with the forward key but they all still work.
I never though to press the space bar to make those work, lol
It's a little too late, though. I placed that additional ladder between all of the shafts in my mines.
Not exactly... In minecraft, under bedrock is an endless fall :biggrin.gif:
In real life, Its all light.
I miss those random holes beneath bedrock. =(
I've always thought it should be:
Dirt
Stone
Caves/minerals
Lava/caves/minerals
Bedrock
Nether
Endless pool of lava
Might take more resources to add the nether, though. Also, it would make bedrock able to be mined and usable in a SMP server without mods as a building object.
I'm having trouble installing your Wildgrass textures, can you detail how exactly?
Do I just download normal wildgrass collection and drag in your files, or delete theirs and drag in yours?
Probably smart to give everyone a hint, either that or I'm just not very bright and am missing something.
If it's still like the old wildgrass back in 1.4_01 then all you need to do is install the modloader and the files from the "client" folder of wildgrass. Then, copy all of my wildgrass images into the .jar (Maybe the texture pack as well, but I'm not sure)
The only reason I don't post official instructions is because the last time I did he kept changing the install method... Maybe once he makes up his mind I'll post some.

Lol, He see's your topic and says, Lets go **** with scuttles by changing it up >:biggrin.gif:
Going legit on my first world, Its so full of iron and coal :biggrin.gif:
Haha, nice. I always prefer the "legit" method myself. =)
Alright, today... I'm actually doing something for the texture pack. >.>
I've changed the stone texture very slightly to blend better with the new minerals I'm making. It looks damn good on the small scale. I'm working on making it more seamless to be less obnoxious on a grand scale.
I've downloaded this texture pack... it works but when I or Build 1 block or destroy 1 block my minecraft gets stuck and after 10 secs it shuts down.... is their a patch for this or something.... more people with this problem

Are you two even using the right HD patcher? It sounds like you're trying to patch with the old one that hasn't been updated in over a month. =/

Ya I'm using the new patcher, I tried some of the tips that were offered when it works I break a block it crashes, or I get issues were i start it up and it just crashes. i've tried the 256 and 128 packs

Thank you for being a bit more specific. It almost seems like your Java hasn't allocated enough memory. You could try two things real quick. If you have a 64bit computer, installing 64bit Java will eliminate those crashes.
Or, use the patcher an reallocate memory under one of the tabs and test the game that way. If it works without crashing using this method, look up how to reallocate memory to Java on google or something.
Went into my main folder mines named ONeill has the download, music, pictures etc... inside. Then went to AppData, then went to roaming then went to .minecraft. I then deleted the whole bin folder, also the options notepad file.
I then went into texture packs deleted all what was inside that, I also deleted the patcher. I then redownloaded the texture pack and patcher, I then started up Minecraft so it could redownload the files, Once that was finished I then started up the Patcher ran it closed it then placed the texture zip file in the texturepacks folder in .minecraft.
I started it up went in clicked on the texture pack loaded it went in game and everything works no issues so far.

Fresh installs are always a grand troubleshooter as well. ;D
Glad you got it working.

is it possible for you guys to use hosting sites that dont make us do surveys?
Do not bother filling it out.
Just use the "direct download" link and if it boots you into a survey, back out and click it again. This is against the rules for the ad site and they are working on weeding it out.
I'll add this to the main thread as well. =)
Made some heavy modifications to the stone. It's fairly smooth now instead of the previous rough texture. Thought/opinions anyone?
