Hi Two Things: Not to complain, but i have a room made of bedrock torches and glowstone, and its still impossible too see properly, and i dont have that problem with any other texture pack, so could you look into it?
Second thing: any tips to get a computer to use a x256 pack without crashing on load?
PS: Wonderful pack, everything is awesome!

A double resolution texture pack that stays faithful to the original Minecraft textures.

Yeah, I feel the same way.
TBH Instead of being black, Bedrock should be Gray like the original texture. IMO.
Is there even a 'bedrock' IRL? I search bedrock on Google images and see nothing relevant...
Maybe I need to pay more attention in Science...

As I said, buy more RAM and/or increase the RAM allocated to Java via the Java Heap Size.

EDIT: I just tested the links, they didn't work. HOWEVER, i used a proxy to hide my ip, and it worked. Which means that Adfly does not work in my country anymore. Shitty Romania...
Yeah, just use Anonymouse <3
If Scuttles put non-adfly links in the OP everyone would use them instead of the adfly links :/

How could I possibly forget about Wikipedia?
**** Science class, Wikipedia to the rescue!
Now Scuttles, that image doesn't look black to me.
This Wikipedia page completely destroys your texture pack.

Lmao, I'm glad I know that entire statement was dripping with sarcasm. =)
I'll change the bedrock for the next release. To be honest, the bedrock was initially a placeholder until I made something good, lol.

Ok it's just my computer being a piece of ****, i can run 128x but not the 256 :sad.gif: Oh well atleast it's still in good quality!
Seems to be an issue with many 32bit Java users. The 256x256 is just enough to crash it, but the 128 has plenty of room.

I'll work on something better. ^^
I'd have to say that 64bit Java is nearly required if you have a 64bit system. Also keep your Java up to date and, if you're willing to sacrifice, remove things such as the GUI or anything you feel unnecessary to save on memory.

That's unfortunate. As Phantom said, if I put non-adfly links, no one would click the adfly ones. =(

Really, EVERYONE should have a 64bit system with at LEAST 4GB of RAM.
RAM isn't expensive at all... and if you have a 32bit OS Windows 7 CD you can easily 'convert' it to x64.
I'll change the bedrock for the next release. To be honest, the bedrock was initially a placeholder until I made something good, lol.
Awesome, can't wait.
I have an entire portal room in my server made out of bedrock... impossible to see.
Loads of torches too, even includes lava windows.
Kinda the same that the dirt was, but the new dirt is much better! :biggrin.gif:

You can include a proxied link to adfly for people having trouble.
I've been messing around with some bedrock texures. I'm thinking this one is pretty promising. I still have to make it a bit more uniform with the rest of the textures.
Also, does anyone think I should re-texture the stone completely?
It's nice, but still seems a bit dark.
Not sure what it's gonna look like in-game though.
Well, technically, that IS in-game. XD
/smartass
Back to the bedrock. I can try lightening it up a bit, but I'm trying to maintain a proper bedrock feel while still getting the obvious differentiation between the stone and other blocks.
Glad you like it somewhat. It's a start, after all. =)

Not seamless :s
And scuttles, Why imageshack? imgur <3
It is seamless. =/
Imageshack doesn't retains the original image quality unlike Imgur. It really only affects higher resolution pictures if you want to be nitpicky.
Hint: Mixing HTML inside of BBCode is not the answer...

Only excuse would be if you have a laptop I guess, not sure how easy it is to replace Laptop RAM.
Though I do believe RAM is one of the easIER laptop parts to replace.
