A long time ago I was able to get the 256x pack working on my computer with the old HD fix. I don't know how I did it, because it used to black screen and then one session it didnt, but I am having trouble now. When I switch to the pack the game crashes, and I am pretty sure I have done everything correctly. But then again, probably not.
i'm using the 64x version of this pack(due to crappy computer issues) and its awesome. any eta of when your going to finish updating the 64x version to include the rest of your textures?
My minecraft crashed when I selected the 64x64 pack in the menu.
Why?
We need a little bit more info. What did the crash report say? Did you use the new Patcher?
Well there was no crash report.It just exited out.I didn't use a patcher.
Click on it and then wait. It takes a little bit for the pack to load after you click it so it may seem like the client has locked up. If you keep using the cursor or clicking, it will buffer those selections up and take that much longer to give you back control to your client. An easy thing to do is to click the pack from the menu and then hover your cursor over one of the menu buttons. When the client has loaded the pack the button will become active again.
If the client is exiting out on its own, you probably installed the patcher incorrectly.
I'm using the 256x texture pack and not sure if this is a bug or not. But I just wanted to report that there is no texture available for the powered rail and that it is invisible. A different hue version of the normal track would probably be an ideal temporary fix instead of an invisible track.

hi, ANYONE WITH PROBLEMS INSTALLING THIS PACK READ!!! ok, now that ive got ur attension... to install it u will need: the very latest patcher that was especaily made for 1.5(mc patcher 2.0.0). once u download it, run it and JUST click 'patch'. dont change anything in the tab thingys. now after you have done that, go to- C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\texturepacks -and drop lb photo realism 4.0.0 (rather download 128 version so ur pc dosnt have a fit) in there. open minecraft, go to mods/texture packs and click lb photo realism. posting.php?mode=reply&f=1021&t=136785&sid=f5e02140137e4de20be716c35c4bdf45#

I seriously dont understand how to use mcpatcher and i was wondering if someone could post a screen shot of what mcpatcher should look like for LB Photo realism. It would be real helpful thx.

Mip-mapping makes the distance surface too smooth therefore making less realistic. In my opinion, rough looking surfaces looks a lot better than smooth. Bty, I like the way the water sparkles.
That is pretty interesting. Easier on the eyes, but comes off as less realistic.

The x64 should have just about 85% of my textures into the pack. I'm going to finish off the rest in later updates that come.

Also was the rain changed? I saw mention of it being changed but seemed more like a user of the mod changed it instead of the actual mod having it changed. I am simply having a lot of trouble seeing through the rain and it looks more lie a blizzard is happening.
I changed the rain after realizing my mistake. I made a less intensive rain texture that looks better.
I really do not like Minecraft when it's HD. I think it ruins the style and feel of Minecraft.

I personally find 90% of the lower resolution texture packs hideous, but that's just my opinion.
Hey Scuttles, I know others have complained about the rain, but I like the first version, it adds some danager to the game, and makes Rain really a factor.
Is it just me or is the download links not working? I would like to get the 256x pack but both links aren't working for me. Any help?

What that means is either like 1,000 people downloaded it right before you.

i made a few changes on the rain drops, make it smaller and less saturated, but im still not satisfied with it
