The Rain for this version is WAAAY to dense, i cant see anything when its raining, it adds a cool effect, but i litterly cant see 3 feet infront of my face, might consider changing it :S
Might want to check your eyes and download the updated rain file posted 9 posts above yours, ON THE SAME PAGE.
Whenever I try to install this, it doesn't work. I keep seeing the "Photo Realism" in the mods and texture packs folder, but when I click it, nothing happens and when I start a game, it uses the default theme.... Any hints guys?
TO EVERYONE:
Please download this texture and rename it "rain" http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/439/rainl.png <------- This
It's a far less intense rain texture as the other one depending on transparencies which didn't work and ended up shitty. =S
Thanks,
Scuttles
P.S.
Thank you everyone for helping each other out while I've been gone. Exams suck. =\

Just wanted to tell you a few things about this Texture Pack:
1.It AWESOME! The Textures are quite well done, the only thing I got to critize is, that they are a bit too dark. Could you light them up a bit?
2.Change the link to the McPatcher. If you want the Pack to work with Minecraft Beta 1.5_1 you have to use the new Beta of the Patcher or it´ll crush.
1.The textures were intentionally built to be dark for added realism. It also shies people away from trying to always work in the dark. It's damn near impossible in real life.
2. Thanks. I updated that a while ago after reading this, but I didn't have time to type a formal response.

Good work man!
But how the **** do you install your LB Photo Realism Wildgrass?
can't you just like write an easy instruction on the page?
I'd go to the wildgrass thread to find out how to install it. I'll eventually get around to make a proper installation method one day.

Hey, great pack, however I am getting bugged by the fact that the sides of fancy clouds is extremely glitchy, and overlaps on each other.
Minecraft issue with HD clouds. I've been working on some work-arounds and really haven't been able to nullify it.

What about cake? It's like 4 pixels! Maybe You can update cake texture?
You will have to bake a cake for it :smile.gif:
Haha, true enough. I'll get around to that eventually. =D

Bump because I really want Scuttles to see this.
BTW: The rain was to thick, the new texture is much nicer.
Doesn't quite fit the pack, but I'll try working on something that may meet in the middle.
Oddly enough, I've had MANY messages requesting I make an HD version of that pack.

I agree, and I like the art direction there... but the darkness of the dirt makes it hard to work inside of it (like, for instance, underground) even in daytime and with torches.
Idk. Just kinda annoying.
Also, you should post the rain in the OP so blind people stop posting about it.
It won't completely stop them, but it'd make a big dent.

I'll agree with this. The dirt does have some issues. Everything else is entirely playable at night.
Fair enough, I actually have an artist working on a new modern texture pack, but the idea behind florescence in this pack, is it would be optional. I just really don't like the design on yours, although I love the pack. Glowstone is one of the most common materials I use. and when I don't like the look of it, it kinda turns me off. I searched on google for a 128x128 image with no luck.
on the 128 pack every time i break a block my minecraft crashes is it because of the 1.5_01 update? pleeez reply D: i want this pack bad
This is a common issue that has absolutely no clear-cut resolution as of right now. I'd suggest installing this pack from a fresh install and make sure to use the new beta patcher. =\

I'm actually debating on making a modern pack after this one is complete/nearing completion. =D
We'll see. I have alot on my plate at the moment. One step at a time...
Minecraft crashes when choosing the texture pack, and crashes immediately unless I remove the .zip file from "texturepacks".
I changed the Java parameters but it's still not working.
Sorry, I was skimming because there was like 3 pages of nothing but people unable to read directions and crashing.
You, in particular, seem to have either installed over a previously patched version, or you have 32bit and require the 128 or below. I'd also strongly recommend a fresh install before attempting to install anything.

Ours is turning out well, got the first test pack today, needs work, but looks nice.

Nope, I tried a fresh install of minecraft.jar, it wouldn't work.
I used HD Patcher 2.0.0-beta4.
And wait.. 32-bit java or 32-bit OS? I have a 64-bit OS, but for some reason I have 32-bit Java. I'll go try upgrading that and post results.

What did you do to get it working?
In addition to the above-mentioned, my minecraft also crashes when I place blocks...
The issue is -NOT- with the texture pack.
The issue is the patcher.

Any idea when the Wildgrass mod's going to be fixed?
No idea. It's takes a huge amount of time to get mods compatible for new major updates.

Rename it as rain, if it's not already, and then place it into the texture pack .zip inside the "evironment" folder
