I upgraded my patcher to 4 and now this pack wont get patched? Not compatible, glitch or what? All my other packs work so I guess its a bug.
Something's gone awry on your end, as I've updated to beta 4, and had no issues with this pack since.
Exactly. You're not doing something quite right. Try a fresh install and report back.

WOW the 256x version was so realistic that it hurt my eyes :')
I would have used it for longer but as an impatient woman I could not deal with it taking ages to load sometimes !
But its amazing :biggrin.gif: Well done!
Haha, fair enough. I find the loading screen really irritating when I have to constantly test, but I guess it also is building patience. =)

What have you done....?

Ok, so i did everything you told me to do to get this pack working, and now....its not doing anything.
Minecraft freezes at the mojang screen.
Whats going on?
Okay, now it goes into the game, but it freezes, then closes.
I have no idea...
I'd try a lower resolution version or the java video at the main post.

1- liking the new GUI
2 - please change that pumpkin!!!
3 - helmets look really weird square like that with those red blobs, please change if possible?
4 - liking new leaf textures!
5 - is there a 5? oh yeah, liking the snow and rain! did you do clouds?
Worked on the pumpkin today. It's got a new texture entirely. =)
Armor will likely be the last thing to be changed for now. I'll try to mess around and see how it works.
Leaf texture is looking a bit sketchy. I messed around with it and can't quite get it to look right anymore, lol. =/
I have some HD clouds but I was going to refine them and make it look tons better. But thanks, the snow/rain hopefully will look brilliant. =)

updated my java and everything is running at 60 fps without f3ing. Thankya :smile.gif:
Quite welcome. ;D

Hey, Scuttles.
Quote from PhantomGamers »
And I still get 40-60FPS, which is quite playable.
I'd say after 1.5 comes out with the optimizations I'd be set. Now if only someone would make a 512x512 pack :S
*COUGH* *COUGH*
Oh, and super HD 2x2 texture pack:
-lulz-
Hmmm... I don't see why I should try at this point. -_-'
Ever since I overwrote that .psd, all my 1024x1024 textures were erased. =(
Low-res looks comical, though.

this is truly amazing and made me jizz my pants reapetedly.
but alas, i love mods, and not a single mod i know works with a 64x64...
I recommend changing those pants. XD
I'm sure all mods work with 64x64. I only know a few exceptions because they were simply designed for 16x16 such as ones that alter the game's .pngs
Yeah, and then the map got corrupted. Hahahahahaha
Lmao, nice. XD

So all of the raw texture files you used were in that PSD?
It's physically impossible to start from scratch?
Not that I would want you to do that, this pack took a long time to get to this stage...
I wouldn't even want to imagine having to do it again.
Yea, it was a massive ass .psd (Nearly 100mb)
I do have some of the absolute raw textures as in the photos that I extracted them from. As you said, I'll have to start from scratch if I were to use them. =/
I am using mcpatcher-1.1.12_02.exe
and I think I won with this problem. When I open minecraft with .jar it is fine, but with .exe it's bad. If something goes wrong I will post there.
Hey... To get the texture pack to properly work right, you have to download a Minecraft Texture Pack HD Patcher. What it will do is replace certain strings, such as water, lava, and fire, with the HD files found in a certain texturepack download such as the one in the topic. I have the previous version, but I looked at this one and the controls are the same. After downloading pack, place it in the %appdata%>Roaming>.minecraft>texturepacks. After that, open the patcher (NOT using WinRAR) and the program will open up. Click the SECOND browse button, and navigate to the texturepack folder. (If you plan on patching more than one file, re-navigating after clicking browse is not needed, for you will already be in the correct folder. The reason for placing them in the texturepack folder, is when you open the texturepack option in the launcher, it will have the texturepacks listed there.) Select the texturepack. [[[Before ALL, except download, make sure it is a .zip file, not, not, NOT .RAR.]]] Then, click 'Patch'. A CMD type window will pop up, and it will run several scripts. at the end, it will say:::

I have the 2.0 HD patcher but I'm still getting no where. When I start up Minecraft, it works just fine until I go to the Textures menu, at which point the LB Photo Realism icon is greyed out and the game freezes. As far as I can tell, I've done the installation correctly.
Download and run the new, 2.0 HD Patcher
Move the ZIP of the Realism pack into the Texture Pack folder in the Minecraft directory
Run Minecraft
Help, please.

This is my pickaxe. There are many like it but this one is mine.
that is the thing, it is a block i have invented! my first modding triumph! i have no idea what it could look like
it has the same properties (light wise) as glowstone and it is as hard as obsidian...
atm with my basic pixel knowledge it is like glass but with a E in the middle...
maybe you could make something awesome? (just keep the E in there somewhere) ^^
Lol, sounds interesting. I'll think about it. I have a lot on my mind with the "huge" update coming. =)

Like being in my house, and seeing the wood logs/planks and stuff it's gorgeous... but once you start exploring the graininess is just too much.
Quote from Grugsy »
it's because of the lack of mipmapping... the mipmapping shader for glsl mod helps some, but not enough imo
Exactly. Not implementing mipmapping into Minecraft is a dumb choice to start with. Notch should have made it official with the beta release (Atleast).

128x and 256x take a while to load when you select them..usually just hangs and doesn't close for me...but when it does the pack is loaded when I restart minecraft.(usually)

Hmmm... You want me to rescale a block for you?
In any case, if you send a pic/link I'll gladly do whatever you want with it.
If that's the case, then I would try the Java reallocation video on the main page.
To each his own? I personally enjoy the stone, and I'm not quite sure which type of stone you don't like anyway. =)
Also, are you using the Beta2.0 v4 HD Patcher?

Curse PremiumDude, GET OUT.
Just use the beta 2.0 patcher, click patch, and put textures in texturepack folder.
Done.
Why do you need to over complex things with the old patcher?
