I can't figure this out... With BETA 1.3 I had 0 problem installing this lbrealismx64 with mcpatcher and having 2 dozen mods installed as well...

Now since 1.4_01 I apparently can only have 1 or the other. I can install the lbrealismx64 with mcpatcher FINE with a fresh .jar... but I cannot install any mods afterwards or it won't get past the Mojang logo.

If I have all my mods installed first THAN install lbrealismx64 the same issue arises...

What am I doing wrong?

I upgraded my patcher to 4 and now this pack wont get patched? Not compatible, glitch or what? All my other packs work so I guess its a bug.

that would only make minecraft run better..not crash. keep an eye on the patcher 2.0 thread for the next day or two..we'll work out the bugs there... also run it with mcpatcher test option and post the log with the error on patcher thread.. (tab in the patcher)

Ok, so i did everything you told me to do to get this pack working, and now....its not doing anything.

Minecraft freezes at the mojang screen.

Whats going on?

Okay, now it goes into the game, but it freezes, then closes.

I have no idea...

Funny you should mention that. 512x512 actually does work if you increase the heap size. Extremely slow though. At the other extreme, 1x1 crashes, but 2x2 appears to work. Oddball sizes like 23x23 (it has to be square) might even work, who knows.

Ah, I didn't try increasing heapsize.
And you're right, it does work.

And I still get 40-60FPS, which is quite playable.
I'd say after 1.5 comes out with the optimizations I'd be set.
Now if only someone would make a 512x512 pack :S
