Hadn't heard that rumor before.
I'm fairly certain it isn't true.
I do believe MrMessiah was Pro-HD Texture Packs, Jeb says they look like ****.
You better. I want proper HD snow, mother****er. >:|
Hmmm... I don't know where I got that rumor in the first place now that you mention it.
But, yea. HD snow should kick ass. =)

Tried running 256x256. I finally found something my computer couldn't handle. Besides that I do like the 128x128, but the slightly increased resolution over 64x64 isn't worth the drop in framerate, at least not until optimine is updated. I really wish someone would revive Albion...
I'm actually bending towards downscaling to the x64 version because there is almost no grain effects and it even looks better at a distance. Don't worry, though. I'll still make everything in x256 first. ;D
Hmmm... I've been extremely good at imitating an artist. Maybe I should try a lick at Albion.

@Scuttles lol..trick with the gravel and specularity.. does look like the water is sparkling when it's in motion.
It may be because I haven't had my coffee, but I'm not quite understanding this statement, lol. The gravel sparkles like water with specularity?
Actually, the noise effect is gone at 16x Anti-aliasing... I was absolutely shocked at the difference
between 8x and 16x. Got to love the shaders!
If the shaders didn't take my computer and shove a closed fist up its ass I'd use it. =(
Shaders do amazing things, but at a heavy price for some computers.
Of course. I'm lucky enough to be able to run 256x with 16x AA and full GLSL shaders seamlessly. The only issue when I have half a thousand or more lava blocks in view, then FPS goes down a bit, other than that, its perfect.
Quad core 2.6 GHZ, 4GB RAM (think about the other 2 sticks to get 8GB total) and GTX 470 @ 1280 MB GDDR5
Sorry if I'm missing something posted between pages 5-75, but is there a reason why the textures aren't bumped like in video? I was really hoping for some hot, protruding cobblestone action while I was downloading this.
Either way, definitely going to be my main pack from now on. It looks amazing.
Also, are any of you guys having your ovens turn odd ways after logging on? Mine like to turn 90 to the left for some reason. I know it's not a TP issue, just curious if I'm alone in this
Edit:My bad, I watched the video on the forum and didn't read the description on youtube until just now.

No.
Bumpmapping is separate from the texture pack.
You need to download [GLSL] Bumpmapping shaders, and then the bumpmapping/specular mapping files for this specific texture pack.
The mapping files aren't done yet, but dufuric is working on them.
From what I read, I think it's a storage space for when you're moving from computer to computer all the time.
Yeah, it is.
Was just mislead by the "download your files from any computer" line, they didn't specifiy the requirement of logging in.
Oh well, it was worth a try. :biggrin.gif:
No, you read his post wrong.
We were talking about the better lighting, not the mipmapping.
We know what he said about mipmapping.

That's the lack of a texture filtering. XD
I'm far too used to it now from testing hundreds of hours into this pack.
Lmao, Phantom. XD
Why isn't he invited? He's benefited this pack almost as much as I did. =)
Anyway, what kind of survival? Hardcore as in no inv edit and insane difficulty?
Also, here's what I've been working on in readiness for the upcoming 1.5 update.
Some GUI:
Weather:
Rain
Snow (I had to use a black background for display purposes.)
Bumping to new page.
Can anyone confirm that these links do indeed work for everyone, and not just me?

Ah, good thing too. I missed them. =\
Only issue is that you need an account to download them.
Edit:
Unless I'm doing it wrong.
Ah, that sucks then. :-P
Can anyone confirm that the download works once logged into Amazon, or are they only valid for my account?

Oh, didn't answer your question, lol
No, I couldn't get it to download. It redirected me to this "cloud drive" thing and wanted me to upload files. (I created an account as well)
