the zip file contained another folder wich ur textures were in, so i took the texture frfom the folder and put it outside the folder to delete the folder.
Basically, to fix this for your downloaders, instead of compressing a file to a zip file, select all of the texture files THEN compress those. If you still dotn understand ill do it for you, just give me the word.
Oh ok, thank you so much. Probably just help many people because I've never been able to answer this question before and it always seemed to come up.
Hey, I just wanted to say that this pack is already very nice and the new screenshots look even better!
You have to put all the files/folders directly into the zip called "LB Realism Pack 1.4.3 With Glass Mod.zip" instead of putting them into the file you called "LB Realism Pack 1.4.3 With Glass Mod".

Yea, I smacked myself in the face after that realization. -_-'
...Try to forget my ignorance.
Do you think its possible to change the alpha map transparency to work with mipmapping or what do you think ?
I'm not quite sure that changing the transparency would remedy your problem. Since minecraft is only programmed to handle 1 alpha at a time, finding a way to program that differently would certainly be a start.
Other than that, I really can't help you since my modding experience is very rusty.
I think what is happening with the new .zip files that when you run it directly off of the minecraft texture pack folder it won't load the glass mod with it. What you can do is open up that .zip, click and drag the .class file in there. I think it's called something like dt.class.
Hope this works and I try out the new 256x256 pack coming soon.
256 looks veeeerrry nice . I really like it and i would like further improvements ! xD
Edit : Is it just me or something is odd? The terrain is a bit ..i don't know...strange , in close up is fine but further is...i don't know the word o.O
hey scuttles, i like the new one, i didnt lik the pebbles very much...
The gravel?
If so, I've been debating on that one myself. Thank you for the input as this is just a beta and I'm no where near finished.

Yea, the high resolution images flicker at a distance because the game wasn't programed to handle such textures. There is a mod out there called field of depth which greatly improves such effects and even gives a more realistic atmosphere.
Attempting to install this killed my minecraft. I cannot launch anymore without getting a Java error. The moment it appeared as an option on the texture pack screen, MC crashed and hasn't worked since.

I'll update the download links in a few minutes

Uploading the new downloads as we speak.
Should I keep the gravel as that or go back to the traditional all pebbles?

oh wait? its not 256 but being MADE?
then sir, i await you to finish, BECAUSE DIS IS AWESOMESAUCE.
I should be completed with the 256 pack around tomorrow morning. It will be a rough version that will have mainly just a terrain.png at 256x256
may you also make new armour?
because the ones minecraft has... it feels like im wearing
1 . Iron helmet - kitchen bowl
2 . Leather Chestplate - garbage bag
3 . Chainmail leggings - fishnet... o.o
4 . Golden Shoes... BUTTER SHOEZ
so yeah, make real looking armour too.
Depending on the popularity/success of the "beta" version of the 256x256 texture pack, I do plan to move onto the armor, items and weapons.
Basing off of the picture I prefer that one, definitely. It seems to take out some of the red which I've felt may be a little too pronounced.
Keep up the good work!

I'll get on working and revamping this mod to look better.
...The gravel is a definite change
