I've been looking for this kind of program for hours! Thanks :tongue.gif: I'll try again now ( for the 15th time .. ).. Will edit if it doesn't work :wink.gif:
EDIT: It works well, and the textures are incredible. Thank again, and again, and again for your help :biggrin.gif:

Quite welcome! I'll post those links onto the main page to assist other mac users.
Ive been trying to install this but I cant seem to get it to work. Im a newb so excuse my ignorance here. I opened the texture pack in MCpatcher and installed it.. When I open MC its normal. :sad.gif:
Just solved that problem too. What I did is that I put the files from the .Rar directly in the minecraft.jar file, and THEN patched. Using the MCPatcher to install the pack simply did not work for me.

*edit.. Im on windows 7 BTW.
I've never had it work that way. For some reason I must be just not understanding the instructions or something. Yes, a direct install into the jar files is basically the only way I know how to do. Thank you CurbsideProphet for helping confirm this.
Is the lava supposed to have an animation? Right now all my lavafalls are sill, I'm not sure if it's intentional or not.
As of right now the only animation in the lava is the heat haze. The flowing lava doesn't want to move but if you know how to cause a "flowing effect" I really would love the info.
murphy read what I did. You have to open minecraft.jar and then install the files directly into it.. Then you have to use the patcher to patch. It will then work.. I still cant get MrMMods to work.. Its giving me an error that means that the installer is out of date. Im using the latest one though. How did you guys get it to work?
I have tried to install the pack directly into minecraft.jar and then i patched it using mcpatcher 1.1.11 after i had done this, minecraft after i login just shows a black screen. Any suggestions?

I believe you have to run the patcher first before putting any textures into it. Try deleting the jar and rerunning the game to get a clean slate. Then, patch first before manually putting in the textures. Hopes this helps
Forgot to post these two yesterday. I'm in the middle of getting minecraft to run in 64-bit mode. Hopefully the JDK will solve my problems. Anyway, once I get it back up & running I'll actually try to get some decent screenshots.

Now you're just teasing. >.>
I WANT THAT MOD!!! Soon he will have compatibility, but in the mean time I'll drool over your pics. Very nice btw, keep em coming!
P.S. 64-bit Minecraft? Sounds like impressive modding/work.
Yeah... you know, you would think there would be more information out there on getting minecraft to run in in 64bit mode. The way its looking, in order to get it running I will need to mod the launcher... I just want to get 256x256 textures up and running. I've been trying to mod kaen's x64 batch file, but no dice... Not a big deal, looks awesome as is.
It feels a little wrong not to mention that I am running the game with 32xAA, 16xAF among other Nvidia enhancements. But yeah...

Well, good luck with the 64 bit.
32xAA??? Excessive? =)
Impressive settings though, I'd DARE you to find a jaggy with those.

You can open the .jar files using winrar on windows. It's easy and free.
